I have multiples and didn't want the wrong one removed - a distinct danger with other companies I have worked with. This crew communicated well, and I would have been just fine, but I appreciate their understanding. I always hate to lose an old, mature tree, but we had an orange tree that was dying. Removing a citrus with fruit on it is not a fun job, but this crew had it done in what seemed like 5 minutes. It was fast! They ground the stump, filled in the hole and left everything looking immaculate. Drew and team also selected and planted a new tree at a really competitive price. I now have a lovely, large olive tree that is big enough to not look sad and lonely in the middle of a space that formerly held a mature tree. They called 811 first, and were careful of irrigation pipes. Cleanup was again thorough, and the tree looks like it's been here for years. This was one of the best services I've had the pleasure of working with. Drew was amazingly flexible in his scheduling and was kind enough to prompt updates on traveling. I had a great experience with Murphy's Trees. For the initial inspection an arborist came by to explain the various options for what could be done with my tree which did not do well with the heat this summer and provided a competitive quote (I love the bulk pickup discount). On the day of service, the team showed up on time with all the right tools for the job. I was very impressed with how skillfully and efficiently they were able to trim off the dead parts of the tree and clean up after themselves when they were done. The tree had some live branches intertwined with dead ones, as well as being in a narrow entryway surrounded by walls, windows, and bushes. None of the surrounding things were harmed during the service and I couldn't find a single cut on the live branches that had been wrapped around the dead ones which were removed. I was so happy with the job they had done that a few days later I had them do more work on the backyard for me.
