My two pineapple palm trees were trimmed neatly with all the pods and dead fronds removed, and the cleanup afterwards was excellent as well. Prior to the appointment, Andy the owner answered all my questions by text, email, and phone while arranging my appointment as I was having some trouble with the online booking since I had some out of the ordinary scheduling difficulties on my end and needed to talk things out. Afterwards, Dan did a walk around my property and we discussed what might be done on a return visit and when best to trim what. He knows his stuff and cares about doing right by the trees and wouldn't be one of those choppers and whackers that leaves your trees with mutilated limbs. He has been studying for credentialing through the International Society of Arboriculture so he can learn even more. Good men=good company! Ask about their veterans and cash discounts too since they really help keep the price reasonable and it's thoughtful they are offered.

We had a great conversation as I discuss the needs of our trees, and Andy provided a reasonable quote within a few hours. We were actually able to schedule a few weeks out to have the service performed, this included re-shaping a very large and overgrown, ficus tree, as well as pruning to citrus trees. Stephen showed up early with his crew, and was incredibly polite. We reviewed the plan again. The team then got to work. They did a fantastic job, executing our agreed-upon trimming strategy. They cleaned up well after completing the trimming. We are very pleased with the outcome and look forward to working with them again to replace some of our trees.

I called Jason of Bros Tree Care (BTC) because I had admired his crew's work on a neighbor's yard awhile back. Jason answered my call in person and came out at the end of the day to assess my situation. I gave him a long list of needed services. I asked him to straighten and re-stake the toppled mesquite, prune and trim three other large trees, remove an agave, cut out dead branches from a yucca, and shape some bushes. He provided a comprehensive estimate and a total price his competitors could not match. He and his crew of three brothers came out on a boiling hot Saturday and began working with exceptional efficiency, safety, and expertise. It was amazing to watch their coordinated efforts, especially when all four of them pounded huge stakes into my rocky soil to re-secure my fallen mesquite. I thanked them all for their super-human work and wondered how they had the energy to go on to their next job. I am writing this review six weeks after the services provided by BTC. My re-staked fallen tree has survived three wind storms and a torrential microburst (60+ mph). Thanks to practical and artistic pruning cuts, my other trees have leafed out and look better than ever. I know I will need additional yard work, so I will be calling Jason again and recommending BTC to friends and neighbors. BTC merits more than five stars for their achievements. Thanks for exceptional service, expertise, and reliability! Greg, Scottsdale, AZ

I have multiples and didn't want the wrong one removed - a distinct danger with other companies I have worked with. This crew communicated well, and I would have been just fine, but I appreciate their understanding. I always hate to lose an old, mature tree, but we had an orange tree that was dying. Removing a citrus with fruit on it is not a fun job, but this crew had it done in what seemed like 5 minutes. It was fast! They ground the stump, filled in the hole and left everything looking immaculate. Drew and team also selected and planted a new tree at a really competitive price. I now have a lovely, large olive tree that is big enough to not look sad and lonely in the middle of a space that formerly held a mature tree. They called 811 first, and were careful of irrigation pipes. Cleanup was again thorough, and the tree looks like it's been here for years. This is hands down the best tree company I've ever worked with!

Mom Approved Fantastic Tree Service Removal!! Highly recommended!…read more I recently called Essence AZ after reading so many 5 star reviews they had. They responded promptly and requested pictures of my trees to properly quote me as requested. I did shop around and received other quotes. I decided to hire them because of their great reviews; but also because they were reasonable in prices and had great customer service in responding and information I needed. Essence AZ removed both trees from my property with stump grinding--a sizable palm tree and a citrus tree. Their team efficiently tackled the job, demonstrating expertise in handling large-diameter trees. The cleanup was thorough. They were very professional and sweet to my mom in making sure she was happy with their service. Overall, I'm extremely pleased with their great service! I would definitely hire them in the future!

I know people in other comments have complained that it sometimes takes a bit for Octavio to return calls and texts, but don't let that dissuade you from having patience and hiring them. In my case, once he received the photos of my trees and we agreed on a price, they came out same day and did a bang up job. Cleanup and everything went perfectly. It was like the tree fairies hit them with a wand because I couldn't tell they'd been there afterward. The price was very competitive. They charged me exactly what a different company charged back in spring of 24 and while I was happy with that company's work at the time, I will say that on comparison my trees look better this time around.

Just no response. I understand being busy or not wanting a job. A simple "Sorry, I'm not available" takes a few seconds. Repeatedly reading messages from previous customers and simply ignoring them is unprofessional. His original work was good, but that doesn't matter much if you can't get him to respond when you need tree service. I won't be contacting Three Tree Services again.
