A absolutely perfect visit. On time. Great craftsman. Very impressive individual who did the actual cutting on a lanyard The tree was cut from bottom up and the top section was dropped expertly and safely. Then the clean up and haul away with the use of their chipper was great. They left my driveway cleaner than when they arrived. I give Treewise my highest five star rating. A job well done. And at a very fair and reasonable cost. read more

Wow- Treewise is amazing in every way! I'm so glad I found Howard & Co. on Yelp! I have a very tall palm tree in the front yard and a small palm tree in the back, by a pool. Both had been ignored for a few years- and looked like it as well. When these palm trees get overgrown- they look like crap and send a bad message about your house. I sent pics to Howard and got a quote from him right away. His quote was very reasonable, especially since they were overgrown. TreeWise scheduled a few days later, and did the work while I was away. Returning home and seeing the trees I was blown away by the work! The trees looked incredible and the area below was immaculate. Howard & TreeWise not only did a top notch job on the tree trimming- their attention to detail on the cleanup was way above and beyond. To summarize- for all your tree care needs- call Howard & TreeWise. Don't put your home at risk by using some random fly-by-night company, or day labor company who aren't trained, licensed, or insured. You and your trees deserve better. Thanks TreeWise!! read more

I called Howard out to give me an estimate to trim down some overgrown oleanders as well as trim and shape 2 very large Sissoo trees in my backyard. Howard's response time was very fast compared to others who I had contacted. His estimate proved to competitive with other offers as well. Howard did an amazing job trimming everything and did a great job cleaning up the yard afterwards. I will absolutely be referring him to my family and friends, and will continue to use him in the future. read more

Jerry is great, honest and always communicated! I wish Jerry was still working in the North Phoenix area because he is SO much better than what followed! Jerry! You are missed read more

I had Howard of Treewise come over and give me an estimate of trimming a couple of trees at my house. He was very professional and courteous as he described what he felt should be done to my trees. Keep in mind that the trees really hadn't been trimmed since 2005! I asked for proof of insurance and he said no problem and sent it to me. His rates are real reasonable and he is very prompt in returning to perform the work. After he was done, I could see how beautiful my trees really were! They totally cleaned up my yard and it looked better than before they had come. I definitely recommend Treewise for any tree service. read more

Filled out the online request for a quote and got a call and an estimate the next day. Guys came out the next day with a wood chipper and a large, storm-damaged palo verde tree was completely gone in an hour! This included stump grinding. They did it at almost half the price of my other estimate which was from another highly-rated Yelp reviewed tree service. I highly recommend Treewise and I will not hesitate to use them in the future. read more

Well done Howard and team. I've got a large mesquite tree out front that needed a lot of work including crowning and trimming. In the past, I've called the yard guys that always leave cards on my door or people I've found on Yelp as lawn care. Never again. The difference in the quality of work between an actual arborist and these other yard guys is day and night. Howard was friendly and professional. Communication was excellent. He stopped by and took a look at the tree and then emailed me a quote. We accepted the quote and had him scheduled to come out the following week. The job took several hours (as expected) but it was ALL done in one day, including a thorough clean up. He checked with me before leaving to make sure that I was satisfied (I was) and then emailed me a receipt the next day. The only negative I could speak of was the sticker shock at the price I was quoted. The other lawn guys were basically half the price (and half as good). That being said, I would hire Howard again at the same price for this job anytime. If you need a tree taken care of, and taken care of promptly, courteously and efficiently, call Howard at Treewise. read more

Howard and his partner did a great job cutting back an Ash tree that needed a ton of help. It's been a few years since the work was performed and our Ash tree is looking better now then it had 10 years ago. I also had a stump removed and the whole project was done neatly and quickly. Howard was very helpful in helping me decide what was best given our situation and did not try and lead me to additional costly services. I would highly recommend Treewise to anyone looking for an honest recommendation and quality work at a fair price. Thank you Howard. read more

We filled out Treewise's "Free Quote" form at http://treewiseaz.com/request-quote/ ... and nothing... no response. So, after waiting 1-2 days, I called (602) 492-2432 and got their voicemail. I left my callback # and a short message. And now, 4 days later... nothing... still no response. Treewise either has too much business to handle or terrible customer service. Either way, we've moved on and hired someone else. I'll advise friends, family, coworkers, etc. to avoid Treewise and call another company--one that actually follows up with potential customers. read more

Knowledgable and trustworthy. We use them every time.

I tried using Treewise from a friend who has used them with good results. My wife called two time and did not receive a call back. I called two times and finally Howard called back and was flexible with an appointment for an estimate. I scheduled appointments for two contractors before him and and another after him since I work 26 days a month, I dont have a lot of time to meet with contractors, tree folks, etc. He called maybe thirty minutes before the appointment and cancelled. OK no big deal, stuff happened. I then offered to take pictures of the work I needed and email it to him to save HIM time and get an estimate that way. I took numerous pics and emailed it to him---No response. I waited a few days--no response. I called him--no response. I texted him--no reponse. I again called him--no response. I basically wasted a week of my time waiting to work with Howard. Not kool. read more

I needed to cut off 2 branches of a tall tree (15 feet) from the neighbor's backyard. I first called the Harris & Sons Tree Specialist company, but they did not pick up the phone as usual (I had to call them a couple of times in my last experience). So I called Treewise and someone answered my call right away. They came on the appointment date and got the job done very well. No damage to the fence under the branches. What I liked most was that they cleaned up all the falling leaves on the ground when they left. read more

I contact him a few months ago to come out and do a pretty large job. We wanted him to do some stump grinding in the front yard, trim 3 large palm trees, and two larger trees in the backyard, as well as some misc. smaller trees. He came out right away and gave us a quote that we were please with. I asked him to please provide the quote in writing for me as well as give me a copy of his insurance information and he very eagerly agreed to have it to me within a few days. I waited, and waited, and waited to hear back from him but he never sent anything to me. So I called him multiple times, left messages and emails, but still no response. After a week and a half a lady called me back from his company to tell me that he has decided that he is not going to be able to take the job. Overall it was better for me that he did not take the job because I was able to get someone else out there that was cheaper and able to provide the insurance information that I asked for. The big problem that I have with him is his lack of follow up. If he would have told me that he was not going to take the job earlier or responded to my phone calls, then I would not have had to wait to get the job done, and would have been able to move on to someone else quicker. If you do choose to go with him, I would highly recommend getting a copy of his insurance information. I do not know if that is the reason that he chose to not take my job, but I do know that he did not provide the information to me. read more

Have not used their services yet but was impressed by the honest and helpful response to my questions. In addition, he referred a different tree service who provides a service that they do not. I find in recent years many businesses are not interested in helping customers find what they need if it doesn't benefit them directly. I'm keeping these guys on my list to use when I can. Thank you for putting customer service high on your priority list. That's important and appreciated and will not be forgotten. read more

I just had Tree Wise come and trim a neighbors tree the was causing me many problems in my back yard. I talked through each line item with the owner, Howard, who explained what needed to be done. He came and completed the work we agreed to a couple days later. He actually cleaned up some dead bushes we had talked about and I did not want to pay for there removal, but he did it for free! The yard was very clean, the tree looked great and he showed up when we agreed. His prices are very reasonable, they were the lowest quote I had, plus the work was great. I can't say enough good things about Howard's work! Highly recommend them and will be using them again. read more

Jerry and TreeWise are awesome, thanks Yelp (Anthony & Sue)! I had called 3 tree service companies as I needed to have 2 bottle (dead) bottle trees removed and a palm tree trimmed and TreeWise (Jerry) was one of the two that took my call immediately (the other I left a message for that called me back 4 days later, wha?). Jerry was out within 36 hours to do an estimate and answered all my questioned including insurance which he states they are insured up to $3 million because they do work for the City of Tempe. I was nervous about the location of the trees being right against a wall and very close to a neighbor's house, but Jerry reassured me that this would be the easiest job the crew would do for the week. He had the estimate to me in writing 24 hours later and stated they could schedule me in for the end of the week! Their prices are very reasonable, if not better than other companies whom had solicited my house noticing the two dead trees. They take cash, personal check, and credit card with a 4% processing fee. Jerry came to my house and got the job done with his amazing crew. The whole process (tree removal, palm trimming, stump grinding) took about 2.5 hours and to boot, they busted out a leaf blower and rakes and did great job cleaning up after the job. He even got a dead lemon tree branch out of a different tree for me because I couldn't reach it. Oh and remember how I said the trees were close to the wall and neighbor's house? They went over (with my neighbors permission) to their yard and did a cleanup there too, including getting leaves out of his pool! 5 stars for communication and customer service. We won't hesitate to use TreeWise for our future tree needs. read more

They did a great job and their prices were reasonable. They did a full clean up afterwards and the trees are all balanced and ready for monsoon season. I will be using them again! read more

My neighbor was getting his palm trees trimmed and I needed the same so I walked next door and saw a logo'd truck and multiple workers with matching uniforms. I thought "whoops... Looks pricier than usual" but, I decided to inquire anyway. The owner (Howard) who also climbs the trees is a professional, college educated, businessman who not only had himself and crew do the best job I have experienced, he also provided tips on tree care. The clean-up after the job was great. GUESS WHAT? It was also less expensive. I highly recommend Treewise and will become a repeat customer. Also, it's fun to watch Howard swing from tree to tree like Tarzan. read more

Howard and Treewise are awesome. Had them do three mexican palms, one of which had been badly neglected. Pricing is great and the work is exceptional. I trimmed two small trees a few days before they came and hadn't picked up all the mess since my trash was full. I found Treewise in my neighborhood while taking my daughter for a walk. I asked if they would give me a quote to trim my palms. Howard and his staff came by my house and was able to trim all my trees right on the spot and gave me a competitive deal. I've hired Treewise twice now and both times have been very impressed with their work and professionalism. I called Howard after I received an outrageous quote for tree trimming services from a landscaper. Treewise came in at half the cost and did a fantastic job. Howard is also very prompt and responsive. Both times he was able to come the same day I called, which exceeded my expectations. I also appreciate that he seems to really understand trees and what they need to keep them healthy. I would definitely recommend Treewise! read more

A friend referred Howard and Treewise for some tree trimming. I was hesitant because I knew that calling a real arborist would cost me more than calling one of the local "landscapers". I was pleasantly surprised that a professional was affordable. I didn't even have to be home for him to drive by and get me an estimate. We agreed on a price and scheduled the job. When Howard and his team showed up, he told me what he planned on doing and what was best for my trees' health. It's obvious that Howard knows trees and cares. I appreciated his knowledge. Great job and a very nice guy. I've already referred him to friends. Thank you Howard and Treewise. Sheryl F. read more

UPDATE August 2015: After seeing my poor Yelp review, Jerry reached out to me to apologize for the mix up. My paperwork had slipped through the cracks. He offered to have the crew come out. I agreed and set up a time. This time Jerry called and emailed to confirm an appointment date. Howard and his crew came out as planned and did a wonderful job (they left just 10 minutes ago). Howard apologized for the lack of response in June as well. Howard is very personable and clearly knows that a good relationship and great work ethic lead to return customers. I appreciate a company that owns up to a mistake and makes it right. I'm happy I gave them another chance! read more

We had three palm trees that needed trimming. We had three companies bid the work. Treewise gave us a fair accurate bid for the work. One of the other companies we contacted wanted three times more to do the job. I was completely satisfied by the work and very happy to not pay three times what the job should cost! A big thank you to Howard and his crew. read more

Howard did a great job on our palm tree. Called in the morning, it was done when I got home from work. Great service, I highly recommend.

Treewise is the way to go. I am from NY but have a condo here in the Scottsdale area. Called Treewise and spoke to Jerry on Thursday and he came out Friday to give me a free estimate. When he came out and gave the estimate he said he would be able to make an appointment for me this week on Tuesday. Problem is I really needed this tree down ASAP and was scheduled to head back to NY on Tuesday. Jerry managed to squeeze me in for today, Monday. Well here we are today and I am happy to say, Jerrys team came out here earlier than expected which was awesome. They came in and were all business. The tree was cut down and the stump grinded. They even cleaned up my palm tree as a bonus. The whole process took less than 20 minutes. I am amazed to think that one minute I had this tree that was almost choking out the palm tree and 20 minutes later not only does the area look like there was never a tree there, but the area is cleaner than it was prior to the work. All in all, I am extremely happy with the work done. I honestly was skeptical as anyone would be when doing business with a new company but thankfully, Jerry and team were prompt in returning calls and very professional. I wish I could get these guys to come to NY to do some work for me there. How about it Jerry? LOL I highly recommend Treewise as I can not see myself ever using anyone else after this great experience. Call them and you won't be disappointed. read more

Great Job! I was looking for a new tree service. After reading all the great reviews about Treewise, I gave them a call. I was very impressed with Howard. He has a great deal of knowledge regarding the trees and foliage in our yard. He also has great customer service! They came out and did a wonderful job taking care of all the needs of the yard. After just a couple of weeks of having them work, we went out of the country for vacation. A monsoon hit and did some major damage to several trees in our yard. I called Howard to see if they would go to the house and take care of it. He was there within one day. Took pictures of all the damage and took care of everything! Howard and his team did an amazing job cleaning up the yard. I would definitely refer him to my family and friends! read more

I have a backyard full of three different kinds of palm trees and one African Sumac. The palms were seeding out and I really needed them trimmed before my pool was destroyed. I had called two other tree trimming companies first and tried calling another and I couldn't even get someone out to look at my trees for an estimate. I was promised call-backs, and drop-by's and on an on but nothing. Meanwhile my wife is on my butt about getting these palms trimmed that are dropping seeds in the pool daily. Finally I call Treewise and everything is easy once again, just as it should be. I'm super happy for the tree trimmers of the valley as business is obviously booming, but the better news is that by getting dissed by those others I ended up finding a real pro that killed it for a good price. I came by when they were finishing up and Howard did a walk-through explaining everything they had done. I mentioned that next year I need to ask for some Sumac clumps around the base of the tree that are sprouting up to be removed and Howard said not to worry about it and had his guys run back there to clear them out at no extra charge. First rate all the way. read more

What an amazing experience. An enormous palo verde tree fell down in my yard. I called Treewise in the morning and they sent an arborist out to my house in a few hours. He assessed the damage and explained the work it would take to remove the tree. I had a few other trees that were on their last leg and considered removing those as well. I promptly received an estimate and the Treewise crew came later the same afternoon. From what I understand, typically the services would need to be scheduled a week or two in advance, but they do have a crew available for emergencies/storm damage scenarios. The crew was very helpful, fast and cleaned up all the mess too. Would recommend these guys! read more
