Fernando was cutting a tree that had overgrown into two neighbor's yard. He came out twice once for a quote and then again to do the work. He communicated with me the whole time to make sure my needs were met. He was flexible with timing. He and his team showed up early and on time to get the job done. They were carful of their surroundings and broke down the tree safely and with care for my home and the neighbors around me. Fernando gave me suggestions on upkeep that will be helpful to keep in mind going forward. I really appreciate that they left my yard clear of the debris when they left. This outfit did some trimming for me a while ago and the job was acceptable. So when I needed more trimming I called them. I was quoted a price and given a definite date and time they would come by to do the job. A few hours after the time they were supposed to show up, they still weren't here so I called the owner and left a message. There was no response and I left another message later in the day. I still received no response. That was all 4 days ago. Since then, I left additional telephone messages and a text message for the owner of the company. Still no response. The courtesy of a return call or notice that they weren't going to show to do the job would have been nice.

After having a great experience with Dalton and his crew last year for removal of 17 back yard trees and a wooden deck, I contacted him to get a quote for removal of a large (about 25-30 ft. tall) messy Australian Bottle Tree in our front yard. He provided a quick quote after a doing drive-by and got me what I considered to be a very fair price for tree removal and stump grinding. Dalton and his crew arrived on time--just as they'd done during the prior project. As I'd mentioned in my prior review, I was once again impressed with how polite Dalton's four-person crew is. Every one of them ended every sentence with "sir", as in "yes sir", "thank you sir", etc. These are the kind of manners I'd expect from the wait staff at a five-star Scottsdale restaurant so seeing them displayed by a landscape crew in Peoria was an added bonus to a grumpy old school guy like me! The guys made quick work of chopping down my tree, doing a great job of cleanup (they even blew and picked up leaves in a large section of my front yard some distance away from the tree they removed). Dalton's stump grinding guy arrived the next day to remove all remains of the stump and Dalton himself arrived a short time later to clean up debris from the ground up stump--by that time, I'd already paid him but he made good on his promise to come back over after the stump grinding was done to finish the cleanup.
