I recently used Valley Moving Services which exceeded my expectations! I was looking for a moving company to move large office equipment, a pool table and a grand piano. I had called around and came across Moreno Valley Movers when I finally reached someone they were very rude and obnoxious. I proceeded to inform him what I needed moved and the guy "whistled" as if it was too much to handle, he continued with his arrogance and poor grammar to inform me he would have to charge me extra for the large items. He quoted me an enormous amount which I was inclined to hang up on his face for the outrageous quote. As I continued to search yelp, I came across Valley Moving Services. To my delight the gentlemen who answered was very warm and welcoming. To my surprise the quote I received was fair and he took the time to listen to my needs. So I hired them. BEST movers I've ever had!!! Hands down I have already told them that even when I relocate to another state in the future, I'm calling them up. They picked up my stuff on 12 FEB and delivered on Valentine's Day. Prior to pick up day, James the owner called me up to confirm the dates and told me that the guys will be in the afternoon. This actually worked out better for me since I packed all my stuff except the furniture. Great communication! Willy was the representative who did the walk through at my place in the very beginning and he was on it. The next day, he already had the quote for me and Valley Moving is COST EFFECTIVE and very military friendly. Being in the military, moving can be a pain, but these guys made it all easier for me. Upon delivery, I noticed that there were minor scratches on my couch and they didn't pack it on pick up day. However, you're moving, you can't expect stuff to be in mint condition, stuff may or may not happen and it was an old couch anyway. Their professionalism and expertise overshadowed those little scratches so it was nothing to me. Finally, James called again on moving day to check up and told him they were very fast and efficient. If I could give them a negative star I would. Called Willy a week ago and was given an estimate. A flat rate of $460 (cash) which includes the gas and transportation for 4 hours of their time. Sounds like a great deal, but being a penny pincher I do my due diligence and get more estimates to make sure I'm getting the best possible deal. I called today to lock in the price/time/ date in which I was quoted and Willy told me" I don't remember the price I gave you". Well I took the time to write all the estimates down, I began quoting in detail our conversation. Willy begins to explain that the quote I am referring to could not have happened and began adding additional fees. Terrible Service, they broke my TV and then told me that the insurance they assured me of before I scheduled them only covers 60 cents per lb. Per Item! So my $3800 TV is only covered for about $75. We have also found a few other furniture items that have minor damages. After calling multiple times and asking specifically to speak to the owner, I was told 3 different times that he is 2 busy to call me back... What a joke... read more

My family and I moved from a 2800 sq ft home in Las Vegas to a 3200 sq ft place here in Moreno Valley. While waiting for my house to be completed, I planned to stow all of my family's belongings, save for some clothing and toiletries, in storage for a few days. I thought it'd be easy to load up the massive UHaul in Vegas, motor down to the Val, and unload the truck into storage. Needless to say, I greatly underestimated the task and my brothers, friends, and I spent about 15 hours packing, loading, hauling, and unloading. If that wasn't bad enough, we caused all kinds of damage to my wife's furniture, which I had to hear about right up until the day came that our house was finished and move-in ready. Since I didn't have another full day to move, and no reasonable expectation that I could break anymore of my wife's stuff, I decided to hire movers. Thankfully, the first call I made was to Valley Moving Service. Within minutes my mind was set at ease by the extremely courteous and professional manner of the person who took my call. I had an appointment set up in minutes, and was quoted a price that was far less than I was expecting. Also, the guy said they could have my stuff out of storage and arranged in my new home in about 4 hours. On the day of the move, I met the team at the storage facility. They arrived in a huge truck, we shook hands, signed some paperwork, and they got right to work. I hung out for a while watching the guys pull out, wrap up, and neatly load my furniture and other valuables onto the truck, and immediately felt confident that this team knew what they were doing. I left them there, and headed out to grab a bite, thinking I'd not see them again at the house for some time. By the time I arrived at the new home, the truck was in the driveway, and my sectional was being arranged per my wife's instructions, of course, in the living room. The team was amazing, and unbelievably accommodating to our family's needs. Well within the estimated 4 hour window, and without a single add-on or up-sale, the job was completed. Arrived 25 minutes late, loaded up and went to new location. Took 10 minutes to figure out where to park even though I saved them an ideal spot out front (which they finally ended up using). The 3rd man we were recommended, and paid extra for, was unnecessary and slightly above useless. Even the other movers were telling him to keep up and he waved them off. Long and short - nothing too amazing. They moved my junk, didn't break anything, and were easily booked with only a week notice - but my 50 year old dad was unloading our uhaul faster than they were unloading their box truck. Not only did they move the furniture, they brought 4 wardrobe boxes and put in anything else we wanted because they had more room.
