Had a concert at night and after moving the piano, the piano would not stop sustaining its notes. I tried looking around the piano to see what was wrong, but I'm no piano expert. Messaged Total Piano Care and tried to get them to come out before the concert the same day and fortunately there was enough time in between clients to squeeze us in. Came by and was extremely polite and professional, examined the piano, answered all of my relevant and not so relevant questions thoroughly and thoughtfully, and saw the problem was minor and got the piano working for the concert! Watching him work, there was no doubt he was extremely familiar with the Steinway and worked with many Steinway Grands. Knew about all of the things that were wrong and recommended a few minor repairs to prevent further damage. So happy it worked out with Total Piano care. Great communication and caring too! In case he wasn't able to come out in short notice, he even referred me to another company. Thankfully he came by and based on my experience, I can't refer you to anyone better. read more

I received excellent service from Total Piano Care. I have an antique upright piano that was in need of tuning and a key repair, and Landon came to my home and did a wonderful job with it. He was very informative and helpful and took extra care when tuning my piano since it was likely to have issues given it's age. I was very happy with my service and definitely recommend them. read more

Landon is patient, thorough, and detail oriented. I can't say enough about the great work done troubleshooting every single issue compounded over the 12 years we've had our piano. He's systematically tackling each one until resolved, which we've done over the course of several visits. A+ read more

I had a desperate need for a piano cleaning due to a re-pipe fiasco that left my piano covered in fine dust (they didn't cover it during the re-pipe). Landon was amazing! He was so responsive to my needs, and came the next day to clean the piano and ensure that no lasting damage had been done. He is extremely knowledgeable about pianos, construction and their sound. I would recommend Total Piano Care in a heartbeat. read more

Landon was very professional. He responded to my call promptly. We scheduled the repair/tuning for a week out. He called before he came over and worked diligently to bring my old piano up to snuff. His price was very competitive. He also gave me additional information on the upkeep and longevity of my piano and even shared some leads on ways to repair my broken electronic keyboard. He gave a detailed receipt of the work completed which also contained all contact and business information. He was positive and professional and I would recommend him to anyone looking to tune their upright or grand piano. I greatly appreciated his level of service and quality of work. My piano was just recently purchased and was extremely out of tune, but after calling these guys, I swear it sounds better than newer comparable pianos! The price was much lower than all the other estimates i had called for in the local area (tuning and pitch raise), not to mention the quick responses I would receive either by email or by phone. Landon Paul was the person from Piano Tuning and Repair that tuned my piano, and after seeing his work, I highly recommend him! The care and detail incorporated in his work is unbelievable and very admirable. I highly recommend calling these people for your Piano needs! Ask for Landon Paul to help you! (They are known as "Piano Tuning and repair" or "Total Piano Care"...I didn't know what business name they were under so please excuse the duplicate review) read more

Called Total Piano Care on a Friday from a Google Search and Yelp ratings and the lady answering the phone was professional, courteous and customer oriented. She explained everything about the business and gave me several open apt options including the following Monday. Landon came out Monday, very prompt. Very professional, decent, knowledgeable and detail oriented. AND very reasonable. So glad that I found a decent, professional, affordable local piano tuner. HIGHLY recommend Landon and Total Piano Care. BTW, he was very helpful in answering and making recommendations re other piano related questions I had. read more

I had to find a great piano tuner. I searched Yelp and Google carefully reading reviews, then I contacted many tuners. I didn't know the difference between a piano tuner and a piano technician and I didn't know what our piano needed, before I met Landon from Total Piano Care. He said that our piano needed regulation, not only tuning, which could make a piano go back to new. He did an amazing job! He is not just a tuner. He is also a technician who knows about a piano more than a typical tuner. Our piano had a lot of problems because my son has practiced for a very long time every day, but other tuners haven't told us about those problems. Landon was the first tuner to tell me why my son has broken many strings, even our expensive grand piano. I really appreciate his sincerity and attention to detail to fix the piano. I was so impressed by his passion to the piano. I leave my review because I can recommend him to anyone who wants to practice piano seriously. read more

I recently hired Landon to tune the piano at my daughter's school prior to an upcoming performance. It had been years since the piano had been tuned. Landon went above and beyond to get the piano in the best possible playing condition it could be before the school performance. He did a terrific job. I found Landon online after to moving to Redlands. He arrived on time, was friendly, and did a very thorough job tuning my very out-of-tune upright piano. The price was amazing and he spent around three hours getting it just right. He also told me to call if any notes slip out of tune in the near future. Professional and knowledgeable. I cannot say thank you enough to Total Piano Care for tuning my piano. It had not been tuned in over 8 or 9 years. Landon worked on it for a few hours and now it sounds like when my mother bought it back in 1962. In addition, he explained the work and showed me the interior of the piano and how the parts worked. Now I can give my granddaughter lessons on my old piano. I am super satisfied and will have Landon come back every six months. thanks for a job well done. read more

IT CAN'T GET ANY BETTER THAN THIS!! I have played the piano for more years than I care to remember. I also have had several pianos during that time which have had tuning. LANDON is, without question, the most through piano technician I have ever used. I have just purchased A new Kawai K500 piano and, as most of us know, requires extensive tuning when new. Landon spent time above and beyond to make my piano sound as great as a Steinway Grand. Landon will be the only piano technician to tune my piano from now on. Thank you, Landon, for a job exceeding well done. read more

After reading the reviews on yelp I had to give Total Piano Care a shot. I was not disappointed! Landon came out the same day to fix a sticking key and was prompt, courteous, and extremely reasonably priced. He was extremely knowledgable about our piano and gave helpful information about future care without any pressure to spend money. I cannot recommend Landon and his business any more- this is as good as it gets! read more
