Had a concert at night and after moving the piano, the piano would not stop sustaining its notes. I tried looking around the piano to see what was wrong, but I'm no piano expert. Messaged Total Piano Care and tried to get them to come out before the concert the same day and fortunately there was enough time in between clients to squeeze us in. Came by and was extremely polite and professional, examined the piano, answered all of my relevant and not so relevant questions thoroughly and thoughtfully, and saw the problem was minor and got the piano working for the concert! Watching him work, there was no doubt he was extremely familiar with the Steinway and worked with many Steinway Grands. Knew about all of the things that were wrong and recommended a few minor repairs to prevent further damage. So happy it worked out with Total Piano care. Great communication and caring too! I didn't know the difference between a piano tuner and a piano technician and I didn't know what our piano needed, before I met Landon from Total Piano Care. He said that our piano needed regulation, not only tuning, which could make a piano go back to new. He did an amazing job! He is not just a tuner. He is also a technician who knows about a piano more than a typical tuner. Our piano had a lot of problems because my son has practiced for a very long time every day, but other tuners haven't told us about those problems.
