It was an overkill for what I had but I didn't care any longer. They told me it would take 7-9 days. Everything was to the point, exactly as stated and super friendly. I moved a lot of dishes and other breakable things and was a bit nervous. Everything arrived in good condition and the delivery and pick up of the trailer was quick and uncomplicated. I took one star off because it took two weeks and I had to call to ask where my stuff is and then it took tree more days for it to be delivered. I am handicapped and started to get desperate for some of my things in the load. I don't have a problem for it to take two weeks considered the distance. I just wish they would have mentioned that it may take a bit longer. I started to get worried. But over all very good.

At the start site the driver did not have a forklift so he had to slide the cube of a trailer, The driver made sure my driveway did not get damaged but also added protective wood planks to assure no damage. We hired BackBreakers NW July 2024 to partially pack a household of furniture and move it into…read morestorage in Burlington 124 miles away. The packing crew was quick, courteous and seemed competent. But later after seeing how a different BackBreakers crew unloaded and packed things the next day, I decided I would not use them to move my things into a house a year later. Particularly unnerving was the unwrapped TV set on the floor 3 feet from the door, lamp shades on top of glass lamp shades without any padding in between. I had not traveled the distance to supervise the unpacking at storage. My error. July 2025 I hired a different company to move items from storage into a home, and they discovered that a leg of an irreplaceable antique desk have been broken when it was placed into storage. I will need to hire a woodworker to repair the desk leg. Also lamp shades in a box were glass to glass without any padding around them. Two leather recliners have long-lasting indentations them from nesting upside down. In a box clearky marked "pictures" was the cookware top I'd been looking for a month. One particularly expensive original piece of art in frame was not wrapped at all and the frame set leaning against a wall in storage. Totally unacceptable. I do not recommend this company.
