We moved from Bellingham WA to Honolulu. There were many companies offering a full service move from our home to the island at a price range from $6,000 to $21,000. This was a great option for us as we had already packed our belongings and just needed a way to get them to the island. not to mention, this was the most affordable option as well! ALL of the staff I spoke with- from the main call center to the local offices in Mt Vernon WA and Honolulu HI were friendly and helpful. The fork lift drivers on both ends were also friendly and helpful. I was impressed by the clear and consistent process from beginning to end. The price was exactly as promised and the cubes arrived in Honolulu on time. My advice to people using this service- be careful how you pack your cubes- the contents will shift around quite a bit, with all of the fork lift activity. We packed some heavy items on top of our 50s style dining room table and the legs collapsed under the weight. A couple of boxes got a bit mangled by bike parts crushing into them. read more

I have to admit I was concerned about using Upack as I'm unfamiliar with them and don't know anyone who's used them. Everything turned out exactly as they described and I couldn't be happier. I was moving from Bellingham WA to Santa Barbara CA and I ended up speaking to different people on a few occasions from the starting terminal, in transit and at the end terminal. Everyone provided great service. The moving industry has a negative image as a whole but Upack is an outstanding exception. Ignacio at the Ventura/Oxnard terminal was exceptionally helpful. I can't imagine using any other service for future moves. By the way, it's helpful to be able to track your move on their dashboard. They took a circuitous route but made it within the correct timeframe (I paid extra to have it delivered on the date I wanted). Even Victor who dropped off our trailer was wonderful! read more

First time using U-Pack and it's great. We went from Washington state to Texas and not having to manage a uhaul ourselves allowed my parents to come and have a road trip with their grandkids without having to worry about the logistics of managing another vehicle. Getting the pod in place was easy, make sure you have clearance as the pod is higher than most u-haul vans. Also, make sure you have some muscle on hand as the ramp is heavy where my wife couldn't lift it back in by herself. Make sure you rent or have some straps on hand and don't pack too high unless you secure properly, otherwise boxes can fall over. I walked in and the three I knew would be a problem had tumbled. Nothing important and at least the damages are my own fault, which actually feels better. Staff were great, will definitely use again in the future. read more

We needed a company to move our stuff. U Pack was recommended to us. They quoted us a price based on what I would need, thinking I would only need half of the trailer. Little did I know I would use all 28 feet ! They provided the padlock for the trailer, they provided a ramp and a way to put a barricade between our stuff and the other freight. The trailer arrived on time and as scheduled. They held the trailer until I was ready to unload the trailer. When had the trailer delivered, we opened it up and the loading ramp had been removed. This made unloading the trailer a little more difficult. We literally had to handle every box and then drop it down to somebody on the ground. A hand truck was not an option. That was a little discouraging. Other than that everything worked out great. read more

It's hard to write a review that will represent how satisfied I am with UPack and ABF. This process was so incredibly easy at every step. UPack gives you clear instructions in writing with who you need to call, when to call, and what to ask for. They delivered PERFECTLY on every single item I requested. Not only was the service great but we had a jammed 27ft trailer, moved 2200 miles and still only paid about 5k. Moving 2 states away can be a very daunting and very expensive experience. I was so impressed with every single aspect of my U-Pack move. The website information, estimate and choices were very helpful. Scheduling the delivery and pickup of my equipment was problem-free and exactly when and where I needed it. Delivery to our new home was exactly on time, drivers were all friendly and knowledgeable. Best part was the price! It was actually about $100 less than the estimate, and $4,000 - $5,000 less than some of the other 'Big Moving Company' prices. UPack was a wonderful company to work with! We chose the trailer route. Every person from customer service to the trucking company that I talked to on the phone was extremely helpful, kind and courteous. I love that they charge on the size of your stuff and not the weight, it made the estimate more clear and exact. I love that was flexibility in how much room we took up on the truck. We had to move during the Thanksgiving holiday and they got it there on time and that was through several winter passes too! All our things made it to our destination in great shape. We moved our entire house and workshop using U-Pack From Washington State to Georgia and it was an amazing experience from the moment we booked our move to the day it was delivered. Choosing U-Pack for a cross-country move was a great decision for me! I chose a trailer (not cubes), as I had a lot to move. They allowed 3 business days to pack the trailer, and I had it over a holiday weekend, so that gave me extra time. Their pricing was very reasonable, customer service was great, and I had plenty of time to drive out myself and allow time to arrive in my new city before I had the truck delivered to my new home. I've used U-Pack for two moves. I used their containers to move from Chicago to Kansas City two years ago and just used space in one of their semi trailers to move from KC to Washington state. Their customer service is top notch. I did a lot of research and their prices were the most reasonable. They have no hidden fees. Some companies charge extra fees for going over their weight limit. U-Pack doesn't do that, so you don't have to worry about how much your stuff weighs. Everyone I've dealt with in their company (and with ABF, the transportation company they use) was extremely helpful. read more

I would recommend this moving service above all others I've used so far since joining the military 7 years ago. Not only was it on time but way more affordable than others I've used. My wife and I used PODS to move to Washington and it arrived late and we had to go pick up our own delivery from their distribution center since they said they wouldn't be able to deliver for a week and a half. I recently used u-pack to move from washington state to Los Angeles and found them to be super helpful! The relocube was a lot bigger than I had originally thought. The only thing that they don't do very well (or maybe im bad at reading directions) is that you have be there to sign on pick up and drop off, you have to call once the truck is in your area to schedule a time to bring to you, and other than that they are super helpful and willing to accommodate for any needs and wishes you have through out your move! I've usedU-Pack 3 times for cross country moves. Each time they were helpful and courteous. Packing/loading is your responsibility so do it right or get help. Their trailers are firm so extra padding is important. I've only had a few things break that were not packed sufficiently. I certainly would highly recommend their services. Cost comparison to any U-haul-like service was break even, especially when considering fuel + 5-7days of driving time. I will definitely use U-Pack for future moves! read more

Initial pack up went well. Trailer was moved to Portland. My problem was that I hadn't found a house yet. My trailer sat until I found a place for them. The issue was because I changed location for them to deliver, one that a separate company , that was to deliver my trailer didn't cover. They had to get permission to deliver to where I was staying, I was not informed of this and had to call to find out where and when my trailer would arrive. We reserved two trailers for our move, and had arranged for them to be delivered to two separate locations (two storage facilities). When we asked for the first trailer to be moved to the second location so we would not have to ferry items back and forth, they were very willing to do so.
