I have been trying to resolve an issue with this company since 2010 (over 3 years). The black granite island in my kitchen has white spots appearing from within the granite.
The top is in excellent condition so it was evident the problem was from within the granite. I phoned and emailed Valley Master Mason many times, finally a worker, Chris, came out and said he was puzzled by it and never seen anything like it. He said he would go back and discuss it with the team. I heard nothing for months so after many more phone calls the owner came out and told me that it was the bleach that is used before they dye the granite black.
Emmanuel (the owner) said he would contact the distributor to get a new slab but it has been over a year now. He was avoiding my calls so I went to his shop (Nov 2012), where he had to speak to me in person. He showed me a black granite slab with a sold sticker on it and said this was for me but stated that there was a problem with this slab as well and didn't want me to have another problem with the new slab. Funny how he didn't contact to me tell me this.
Last summer, I had one of the master bathroom sink fall in because the adhesive came apart. After calling them and stating that I was contacting the BBB, a worker came out and reinforced both sinks.
I am still waiting for a response from Valley Master Mason but in the meantime, I will be contacting the BBB. The owner, Emmanuel is a very personable, friendly person but this is business and his professionalism is very shady.
Do your homework and shop around as the counter top I have from them is not a good quality of granite! read more
