I contacted hero based on their reviews & I was not disappointed. I was able to schedule an app within the week & Thomas the tech came by & was able to give me an honest opinion on my unit. It was low on coolant & I had a leak up in the attic that thankfully did not travel and damage the house. Since my unit was old they no longer make coolant for it & parts would have been just as much to replace as a brand new unit. So I opted for a new unit, didn't feel any pressure by them & the next day I was happy that they came and installed it in less than 3 hours. The Ferrin Brother's had an appointment with me on Friday morning. They did not show up. I…read morerescheduled for Monday morning, they did not show up for that appointment either. They finally showed up about 2.5 hours after my appointment time on Monday. The technician looked at my ac unit for about 5 minutes before telling me I had a bad thermostat. He did not do a full inspection to get a proper diagnosis the first time. I calle the company back and spoke with Colby who told me it would be another 80 some dollars to have the technician just take a look at the a/c unit again. He told me that he would talk to the technician and he would call me back later if he wanted to. That wasn't acceptable to me so Colby had the owner call me. The same technician came back out twice. So by the third time on Thursday, he fixed the problem. This time he found the problem in the attic. After he had left my home, my kitchen light was left dangling from my ceiling. We called the owner of the company to take a look at it. When he got here, he claimed zero responsibility and blamed the kitchen light on bad light installation. The owner Justin left my home saying, "you had $400 worth of work done for $195, you are on your own. Don't call me again". I paid $195.00 for a thermostat that cost them maybe $45.00. I paid for a thermostat on the first visit, when after the third visit on Thursday, we had discovered wasn't even the problem. When they did find the problem, there was no need for new parts... The drain line was backed up so he emptied it. Hardly $400 worth of work. I don't ask much from a company, I only want my initial problem fixed the first time, and not more problems created. I have no respect for this company.

They finally tell my wife after continual prodding that Monster was authorized to do an inspection. We scheduled an appointment on the phone with Brandy for a mechanic to come Sat 16 July between 10 and 2, but he never showed. I talked to Kaylee and we rescheduled for the next day, and the mechanic did show up at 1pm. Brandi and Kaylee were very friendly and helpful on the phone, and they both showed care for our discomfort. The mechanic on the other hand... He seemed very arrogant and brusque, then a bit rude as I started questioning him as he was rushing out. Total he was there seven minutes. I know he'd rather be home on Sunday with the family, but that's unprofessional. I have mobile HVAC certification so when I'm being lied to about refrigeration I know it. He told me it was normal for an AC unit to run for 9 hours straight when it's 113°, but it wasn't 113° back in April when i first complained. It was only 100° when he visited. He insisted the ac unit wasn't undersized, even though it can't keep up with the heat load. He also tried to blame the vents being undersized, the refrigerant, the age of the unit, any excuse he could make up, then he took a picture of the thermostat at 75°. The only reason it was that cool is because it was only 1pm and I had my 10k Btu ac unit in the bedroom running since 8 am at full blast. I don't know what kind of deal they have with Denali Real Estate, but I do not like being lied to, then brushed off like I don't matter. Thanks Monster for restoring my faith in humanity.

8/30/2022 Terrible…read moremanagement. Isaac was completely unresponsive from the start. Isaac was disinterested when he came to our house and acted as if we were putting him out by getting a quote. I had to follow up with him several times just to get scheduled. They started on a Thursday and couldn't complete until the following Monday which we were made aware of. They did not properly hook our existing system back up on Thursday and did not have any AC Thursday night. We had to call Friday to have a tech come back out just to have AC for the weekend. During the install on Monday, a tech fell through the ceiling. Understood that accidents happen, but Isaac didn't care at all when I reported it to him. I called the office and spoke with Jonathan. He didn't care and said Isaac is a manager and will take care of it. I then talked to Joe (claimed to be the owner). Extremely rude and also didn't care about the situation. They left the hole open for 4 hours which allowed blowing dust, debris, insulation and 100 degree heat to constantly blow in. We had to throw away multiple items due to damage and had to clean the entire house that night. Also had very shoddy installation. Most of the registers are cut in crooked and other than 2 techs, their labor force was unskilled and provided terrible workmanship.
