A few months later my AC went out in the middle of the summer. Reliable responded quickly and got someone to my house the same day I called. When the technician arrived, I was so stoked to see that once again it was Sam. Having a rapport with the technician definitely added to my trust that this repair was going to be done correctly. Sam is a pro and got the work done within 20 or so minutes and my house was back to cooling. Afterwards, he kindly explained what was wrong and how he repaired it. I trust Sam and Reliable with any and all of my AC needs. In the future if I call them, I'll request that Sam come to my house. I freakin love that guy and the way he carries himself.

Many attempts were made by different employees to learn why the system wouldn't cool down when programmed. The thermostat and HVAC employees thought it was the high Phoenix temps and the fact that I had a manufactured home. I was very persistent, calling often, attempting to find a "realistic" solution. Finally, the system got replaced with a much better brand. Hallelujah! It's fixed. Sometimes starting over is the best answer. Wolfgang worked right along with me all the way. There was no giving up. Another homeowner recommended me to use them and their yelp reviews are five star quality. I recommend JMAC (and Tanner) if you need AC repair work. My AC system is 17 years old and figure it we may need to replace it in 2026 or so, but replacing parts keeps it going. I keep it maintained by cleaning the condenser coils a few times a year and after a dust storm. I have my drains blown out as needed after a high humidly month. If you don't want to do the maintenance, they will do it for you for a resonable fee.

This is my list of grievance's: -They removed my existing duct switch without consent. It allowed me to divert more air to a specific room. -Did not comb out bent coil fins on new AC (tech said "we don't do that") -New plenum and ducting resulted in uneven air distribution. JMAC made half attempt to correct, but ultimately did not. -Compressor cover (noise damper) was lifted off the compressor on install making unit louder than it should be. After reporting many times, tech pushed it down. -Later, it lifted off again. Took many back and forth for them to even look at issue, and then forced to pay service call. Tech secured with zip ties. -Tech allowed condenser fan to rest on fins. I would imagine this causes slight warping and imbalance. This might not be a real issue, but fan seems a little louder after this "service" -Air handler was inspected at the same time (annual maintenance). Afterwards I am getting much more dust in the house. I see a lot of positive reviews, but buyer beware.

Turns out that larger company was simply not telling the truth. They gave us information that was impossible given the actual setup of the unit in our attic, recommendations that would have led to an unnecessary A/C replacement. None of it was needed.
