I called in on behalf of my friend because she was sold a car with aftermarket Lugnuts that require a special key for all five lug nuts on each wheel and was price shopping for estimates on how to forcibly remove them and I spoke with a gentleman who recommended contacting a tire shop in Modesto, even though I was not familiar with Modesto because I am located in Concord and he mentioned that this tire shop has a lot of special keys for lug nuts for aftermarket wheels as well they went above and beyond to hear me out recommend me a shop with a better potential solution, and I really appreciate that because I am looking to save her as much money as possible, and finding the specific special key for the lug nuts is a lot cheaper than having to forcibly remove them and replace them with stock lug nuts. DO NOT GO HERE!!! I went here for a smog check and was told (after a meter was used to check for codes) before the smog check that my vehicle was showing a couple of codes and would not pass smog. I took the car back to my repair shop and they double checked for codes, there were no codes and it passed the smog check. read more

Never have I ever had to get the smog done on my car, but this place made me feel comfortable with it being my first time and not knowing anything. Smog was done within half an hour and I am 100% satisfied. The location of the shop is a little tricky to drive into, however, but it is easy to figure out. Very happy with my experience. This is by far the worst place I've ever taken my car. I was referred here by a coworker, who had the same problem I had with my car. I told them what the problem was with my car, and just wanted to know if they would be able to fix it. I left my car with them and an hour later, was called back. All they did was tell me what the problem was and charged me $95 for that. Even though I had TOLD them what the problem was. I went home and told my boyfriend, who then called and asked why I was charged that much when I told them the problem. Joe, one of the workers, got mean and copped and attitude with him, even cussing him out. They ended up letting me get my money back. When we went to get my money back, the owner, Eddie, was extremely out of line. He started cussing at my boyfriend and told him "Don't ever come here again. If I ever see you again, I will kick your f*cking ass." Extremely uncalled for and unprofessional. My boyfriend told him he didn't want to argue, and left. Never again will I go there or refer anyone there. I would actually tell people never to go there. No respect. read more
