I took my 2016 Ford Fusion to Valley Auto Tech because I thought it had a leak. Joe and his team performed a pressure test and thoroughly inspected everything. To my relief, they found nothing wrong--that was music to my ears! What really impressed me was their honesty and integrity. Unfortunately, some repair shops will tell you something needs to be fixed just to make a quick buck, but that was not my experience here. Joe and his team were upfront, professional, and treated me with respect. It's refreshing to find a shop that values honesty over unnecessary repairs. I left with complete peace of mind, and they've definitely earned my trust. If my Fusion ever needs work in the future, Valley Auto Tech will be the first place I go. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for an honest, reliable mechanic read more

I took my car in to have brakes checked. It had probably been at least 10 years since they've been checked. I was quoted an estimate and the repairs were done. Seeing my old brakes makes me wonder how they hadn't given out on me sooner! I was happy with the price and quality of service I received today. Highly recommend Valley Auto Tech read more

I called in on behalf of my friend because she was sold a car with aftermarket Lugnuts that require a special key for all five lug nuts on each wheel and was price shopping for estimates on how to forcibly remove them and I spoke with a gentleman who recommended contacting a tire shop in Modesto, even though I was not familiar with Modesto because I am located in Concord and he mentioned that this tire shop has a lot of special keys for lug nuts for aftermarket wheels as well they went above and beyond to hear me out recommend me a shop with a better potential solution, and I really appreciate that because I am looking to save her as much money as possible, and finding the specific special key for the lug nuts is a lot cheaper than having to forcibly remove them and replace them with stock lug nuts. Thank you so much for the integrity behind my phone call. read more

I took my car in yesterday and was blown away by the service this shop offered. My family has gone to them for years, so when something went wrong with my car they were the first ones I turned to. They are so honest and I would 100% recommend them to anyone I know. I will never go anywhere else. read more

Took my Car about a week ago to get the AC fixed early in the morning and was lucky enough to get it back in the afternoon. Yet the "issue" that was fixed only lasted about FIVE days and now again my AC is blowing hot air. Took it back to Our "buddy" and he tells us it's a new issue. read more

I recently moved to modesto from the Midwest. After asking a few family members who live in modesto about a honest and good mechanic and Joe at valley name kept coming up. So I decided to call and make an appointment with him. I could honestly say I'm so glad that I brought my car to him. It's so hard finding a good mechanic that's honest and that could communicate what's going on with my car. Thanks again Joe read more

My car has been overheating for well over a year, I had been putting it off because let's face it, repairs are usually really expensive. I'm moving out of state and needed it fixed ASAP. I dropped my car off on a Friday morning, it was done by the afternoon and way less expensive than I had planned for. All around great experience and would definitely be going back for all my car needs if I was staying in the area. read more

My mother took her car to the local dealership for repairs. They wanted to charge her an absurd amount of money and told us it would take 2 weeks to get her car back. Never have I ever had to get the smog done on my car, but this place made me feel comfortable with it being my first time and not knowing anything. Smog was done within half an hour and I am 100% satisfied. The location of the shop is a little tricky to drive into, however, but it is easy to figure out. Very happy with my experience. Don't forget to say hi to the shop cat Rocky while there! read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!! I went here for a smog check and was told (after a meter was used to check for codes) before the smog check that my vehicle was showing a couple of codes and would not pass smog. I took the car back to my repair shop and they double checked for codes, there were no codes and it passed the smog check. read more

Great place very knowledgeable and honest have been doing work for me for many years would recommend to all friends and family!

This is by far the worst place I've ever taken my car. I was referred here by a coworker, who had the same problem I had with my car. I told them what the problem was with my car, and just wanted to know if they would be able to fix it. I left my car with them and an hour later, was called back. All they did was tell me what the problem was and charged me $95 for that. Even though I had TOLD them what the problem was. I went home and told my boyfriend, who then called and asked why I was charged that much when I told them the problem. Joe, one of the workers, got mean and copped and attitude with him, even cussing him out. They ended up letting me get my money back. When we went to get my money back, the owner, Eddie, was extremely out of line. He started cussing at my boyfriend and told him "Don't ever come here again. If I ever see you again, I will kick your f*cking ass." Extremely uncalled for and unprofessional. My boyfriend told him he didn't want to argue, and left. Never again will I go there or refer anyone there. I would actually tell people never to go there. No respect. read more
