I had been driving for about two hours. I stopped at this Valero gas station to fill up my car and really needed to use the restroom. I went inside and asked if I could use the bathroom, but they told me it was out of service. The way the older man responded was very rude, and I felt embarrassed. I then went back to my car and sat there for a while. After that, the same older man came over and rudely asked me to move my car. Like, what in the world does he want from me? I am searching for a place to go to use the restroom. Here he is rudely asking me to drive away. I am paying customer. I paid for a full tank. I don't deserve to be treated this way. I was very disappointed by the way he spoke to me. There was no reason to treat a customer so disrespectfully. This is about 3:30pm-4pm at 8/12/2026. Who ever you are please have some lesson to treat a paying customer how to be a decent human being. A gas station should be a place of convenience for the public, and customers deserve to be treated with basic respect and courtesy. Unfortunately, my experience at this gas station was very unpleasant. It felt like they were more focused on making money than providing good customer service. What a shame. I hope the management takes this kind of customer service seriously and treats people with more respect in the future. read more

After staying the night in San Jose, Gayle and I took a fast "free hot breakfast" at the Holiday Inn and headed home sometime between 7-8 AM. The gas indicator on my Subaru Forester was about a quarter full, so it was time to swallow hard and fill up on the higher (than we're used to) Bay Area gas prices. The station is located on the Mission Street transition between I-880 and I-680. The fill up experience itself was unremarkable and with no comfort break necessary. Getting off Mission and back on was straightforward. My credit card statement later read Pat Brick's Valero at the tune of $60.06 (ouch!), and it go us all the way back home to Genoa NV. Later on the California road, we found the per gallon price to be a little lower, but with a low tank, I'll call that the price of "piece of mind". read more

Stopped by since the car was literally running on EMPTY!! Lucky for me Valero was a few lights away and I quickly made a detour. The gas station was empty but the car shop seemed to have quite a bit of traffic. I made my way into the gas station, paid, and immediately started pumping. 3 stars for the quick service. This gas station looks rough from the outside but the convenience store is clean and well stocked. The bathroom Is nicely kept and secure. The windshield washer fluid and squeegee are clean, and the owner was friendly. 5/5 stars. We will stop in again. read more

I'm not sure what's up with stations in this area being of poor quality. It's a dirty-looking station, and all of the cheapest unleaded gas was out. They should've crossed that out on the large sign instead of baiting customers into the station. The only reason I'm not giving it a worse review is because their cash and credit card prices are the same, which is rare oasis these days. read more

Today I was driving and noticed a stranded driver in the left turn lane so I pulled over to help him. I parked my truck in the parking lot at Valero to help the guy and the owner of Valero came out yelling that I couldn't park there. I calmly said give me 5 minutes to help this guy out and I'll leave. He got mad and I walked away. I came back after and explained why I stopped there and I said I was again, helping the stranded driver. He replied with, "I don't care if the guy is dieing, that's his own problem." I told him "you are a disgrace to this country, And told him to get a heart for others." So, don't shop there, don't talk to him, and go somewhere else. I never wish anything bad on anyone but something bad happening to him, would at least humble him. read more

Seems a little cruddy for being in such a prime spot. I understand the slightly inflated price here, seeing how the station is right before the 680 on ramp, but that should also mean a little better looking place. The ground is not level near the pumps which means it is hard to get a full tank of gas on my motorcycle when I have to stop here. But they have gas and are on the right side of the road when I need them. All in all I recommend them only if you really need gas before you hit the freeway for rush hour traffic. read more

I don't usually have occasion to write reviews for gas stations but I found this guy's behavior quite bizarre. I came in here to get gas and to try to figure out how to get a lottery ticket for my mother. I handed the clerk the lottery stuff and started to say, "Hi, I'm not sure how this works but..." and the guy rudely cut me off to say "we no do lottery, waste of time and money," as if the very presence of a lottery ticket in his business was somehow offensive. I said, "ok, you no do lottery." He kept emphasizing that it is somehow "waste of time and money." The whole place looked grimy and in need of a good clean as well. Beware of this place. I came for a simple oil change. The service was minimum: no communication, they don't even answer the questions. After driving 24h, I realize that my car was smoking, then smoking a lot! I stopped the car and ... What I saw was very unprofessional : they forgot to put back the cap on my engine!! Another gas station review, oh joy. We will have to just say this is a good gas station but the location is ideal for them. They are located between two major freeways, so if you are looking for a top off or getting gas for your ride home, then you need to stop here. Would NOT stop there again. Had I known how FILTHY the restroom was, I would have kept driving. After starting to fill my tank, I asked to use the restroom, and the foreign attendant yelled at me that someone had the key already. I waited for the person to leave, they gave me the key, and I opened the door - YIKES! Filthy floors, filthy toilet, and I couldn't get the key OUT of the lock. I told the clerk the key was stuck, and got a blank stare. Not a pleasant experience. Could not use the filthy restroom. This place advertises 34.99 for A/C recharge. I took my car in, and they stated they cannot perform the service because my car is a 2006 model, and that "there's no way the A/C refrigerant should be bad on an 06 yet." I popped the hood, the gentleman inspected and said that the compressor is working, probably a loose electrical somewhere. It would cost me 90 dollars to diagnose and I would have to leave the car in overnight. The next day I bought a DIY AC recharge kit for about 25 bucks and found out that indeed the refrigerant was low and refilled it. ...Now my AC works great! It seems kind of fishy that they wouldn't even accurately check the level of my refrigerant and wanted me to pay more for a diagnostic. Glad I didn't fork up the $90 to these guys let alone $35. I gave them one extra star because they were "nice enough" to check what the problem is and might have been sincere about it. While I might be jumping to conclusion to say that they were conning me and try to get me to pay a higher price, it's just bad business practice and shows a level of laziness on their part at the very least. read more
