Located nicely on Main Street. The space is pretty nice, decent amount of seating inside and in the back . The staff were nice enough, decent service. Pricing is on par w other Philly coffee shops. They theoretically have lots of fun drinks/specials--some of the different flavors end up tasting the same so the drinks turn out p avg

My go-to if you want a fun coffee/ tea/ smoothie! I come here for the hall and oats latte (honey and vanilla syrup, with oat milk). They have so many seasonal drinks you will always be able to switch it up, too. It's not my favorite drip coffee, but I am not looking for that when I come here. Also, Hanks cinnamon buns. They are a little slow, and a little pricey (hence 4 stars) So just bear that in mind if you are in a rush.

(+) Typically, I take my coffee black but will come here just for their seasonal items! Their brews alone are actually very smooth and flavorful. (-) I'm dropping a star because it takes so long for your order to be ready. The one day, I came with my sister and she had to leave without her bagel and drink because she was going to be late for work if she waited. It can take up to 20 minutes for a simple drink to be made. This has happened every single time I've gone. (-) I wanted a latte iced and received it hot. The barista didn't apologize and dumped my hot drink in plastic and added a few ice cubes. Naturally, the ice melted right away and the drink became diluted.

My introduction to Valerio Coffee Roasters came from using the surplus food app. This is one of the few businesses that impressed me all around. The area is a little hard to manage when it comes to parking but I lucked out today. This is a place worth working to find a spot. The staff is super helpful to everyone that enters. I didn't get the impression they were offering me any special treatment the staff was just two energetic people working in the service industry. As for ambiance, Outside they have a few two seat bistro style tables away from the curb. You wouldn't feel like you were in danger. Inside the decor is modern like a semi-bohemian coffee shop. The current seating is spaced out but enough for 3-4 parties of 4 during Covid. It's crisp and clean. At the time a few people were on laptops sipping tea or coffee. As for the experience, the staff was friendly, upbeat and informative about the products. We had tasty chicken salad and croissants with a delicious and fragrant tea I believed it was hibiscus and ??? I just know it was good! Great experience, I highly recommend and will return.

Had probably the worst egg sandwich ever. They are trying to choke you with pepper. Was inedible. Not to mention the bagel was dry as anything. Won't be returning.

Came here after a 5k for some much needed coffee and couldn't have been pleasantly surprised - I got the caramel beach bum iced cold brew and my boyfriend got the philly publicist which was a mocha peanut butter blend - absolutely puts any other coffee i've had to shame, I've found a new coffee spot and cannot wait to go back. The woman at the counter was friendly and extremely kind.

I used to go here often, before and after COVID. They've been hit or miss over time but during COVID it's just been complete misses. Last time I went and I waited 10 minutes for a black iced coffee with an aftertaste of vodka. You'd think that time spent waiting was because of the volume of orders they had. You'd be wrong. They had two other people there waiting for orders. This time I ordered something simple, a coffee with milk/sugar and a bagel with cream cheese. Somehow both items were wrong, AND I got to enjoy a long wait in the empty café. I got a black coffee and a bagel with butter, even after asking the man in the back why they were sorting bacon into bins instead of finishing the bagel that's been sitting outside the toaster for 10 minutes. That's the last time I give them a chance, Ironworks or Pilgrim deserve your money way more.

Awesome breakfast spot in Manayunk! I came here with my boyfriend for breakfast on a Saturday. We ordered a latte with almond milk, coffee, a bagel sandwich, and a slice of vegan zucchini bread. The bread and latte were delicious! My boyfriend enjoyed his food as well. The space is well decorated. When the bar isn't open in the back you can sit it any of the tables in the space. Friendly service and great breakfast!

Came here for the first time since moving to PA. Pleasantly surprised with how large and the number of seats they have in here! The front half of the building is the coffee, tea, and breakfast serving area and if you walk to the back that is where the bar is - Bald Birds Brewing Company! I came here in the morning for coffee but will definitely have to come back later for some beer! They have an assortment of board games you can play while you sit back and enjoy a drink. The vibe is really nice, relaxed, and the music gives a great ambiance! 80's Classics have been playing this morning! So happy I stumbled upon this place as it will be perfect for grabbing a book and coming in or bring my laptop to just get a little bit of work done on days I don't feel like commuting. *Decent amount of outlets along the wall! Highly recommend. The staff is great, super friendly and the pastries look so delicious.

FROZEN ICED CHAI LATTE. I didn't know I needed this until I biked up to manayunk from CC, and I'm so glad I got it. Very, very delicious. Their sparkling coffee though - not so much, but that's probably our bad for ordering something so strange haha

Cold Brew Coffee Quest #12 With summer in full swing in Philly, my wife and I are determined to find the best Cold Brew Coffee that our city has to offer! No national chains allowed. -Overall Score: 3.75 out of 5 -Pros: served fresh from a high-tech Nitro draft and revamped industrial café interior -Cons: flavor is too dark/roasty with smoky chocolate and not refreshing; served in a plastic cup

It has…read morethe ease of a neighborhood café, yet the confidence, visual sophistication, and social energy of a much larger restaurant. We have eaten at the high tops, in the main dining room, and at the tables extending into The Harper lobby, and each area feels like part of the same unified experience. The colors and lighting inside are especially warm and inviting, giving the room a glow that feels cozy and uplifting, especially during a Philadelphia winter. Food remains at the center of the experience, and my order is always the Jerusalem bagel with egg and cheese. On the rare occasions when turkey bacon appears, I add it as a welcome delicacy and a little extra sustenance, though the bagel is already delicious on its own. The cinnamon sugar kubaneh, the chocolate chip cookie, and the Bloody Mary are excellent. K'Far has also expanded its selection of bowls and salads since we ate here most regularly, and they look consistent with the quality of everything else. These days, a full breakfast here does not always fit within our budget, but I still make a point of stopping in for OX Coffee, which is delicious and, happily, roasted in Philadelphia. The Yemenite latte is another distinctive pleasure, aromatic and satisfying without feeling like a novelty created merely for attention. The staff is consistently charming, welcoming, and composed, and the team's continuity and energy suggest that people genuinely enjoy working here. When our budget allows, I will absolutely return to eat. Perhaps the clearest expression of K'Far's brilliance arrives in one memory from a cold, radiantly sunny Saturday, when "Inspector Norse" by the Norwegian producer Todd Terje comes through the speakers as the restaurant buzzes around us. The track, the worldly crowd, and the aroma from the kitchen create the elusive feeling Steve Cook and Mike Solomonov understand so well: people go out to eat because they want to feel seen and be briefly transported into a more vivid version of life. I already love K'Far and The Hoxton as separate brands, so seeing them come together at The Hoxton in Williamsburg feels like an unusually natural and exciting partnership. Creating this kind of social magnetism inside a bakery and café is a subtle achievement, and Philadelphia is richer for having a place with this much flavor, warmth, and personality.

The $10 martinis on Friday were an excellent deal and definitely one of the highlights of the evening. A well-priced martini always sets a promising tone, and these did exactly that. The bartenders were helpful and kept things moving impressively well, even with a group our size, which was much appreciated. The space itself is huge and very clean, with plenty of tables and seating, so it was easy for everyone to spread out, settle in, and enjoy themselves without feeling packed in. A major point in its favour is the setup for watching sports. They have a massive wall of TV screens, plus more TVs throughout the space, which made it very easy to keep up with multiple games at once. No awkward craning for a view, no fighting for the one good seat, just a very solid setup for a group outing. I typically go for a savory breakfast, but the stuffed brioche French toast was speaking to me. I can never turn down banana! Luckily, we found street parking right next to the restaurant, which was a nice surprise. When we arrived, the wait for a table of three was about 45 minutes. That's somewhat expected for a popular brunch spot on a weekend. Once seated, the service was prompt. Our waiter stopped by quickly with waters and took good care of us throughout the meal. I ordered the House Angus Burger with sweet potato fries. It was solid, flavorful, and definitely filling. My friend got the Bella Vista Omelet with home fries, and we both agreed that while the food was good, it felt like standard brunch fare rather than anything particularly memorable. Based on the long wait and the hype surrounding Sabrina's, I think we were expecting the food to really stand out. In my opinion, the dishes we tried were comparable to what you'd find at a quality chain brunch spot like First Watch. That's not necessarily a bad thing, the food was satisfying, but it didn't quite justify the lengthy wait. That said, the menu has plenty of more unique and creative options that we didn't try. I'd be open to coming back and ordering one of those specialty dishes next time. Overall, I left satisfied with the meal and service.
