I've been a frequent customer here for years now. Without question, this is THE place for all of…read moreyour IT needs! Their service and knowledge base are outstanding, but let me tell you why Beverly Computer is unique and incredible. 1. Confortable Familiarity. Unlike most businesses today, every time you call or stop by you will see the same faces. After awhile, they are like an extension of your family and they are part of the local neighborhood. That's the way it was years ago, and we've lost that personal touch as a society. It's always Paul and Steve and never some "new kid, fresh out of school," who has no clue who you are and could care less. You won't find this anywhere else today. 2. Honesty. I became a devoted customer when years ago I went running in to by something and instead of making a rather substantial sale, they were truthful and told me I did not need it and saved me hundreds. They earned both my business and my appreciation after that. See if you get that treatment at a major chain store? lol 3. Integrety and Trust. You can be assured that your equipment will be safe and cared for and ANY information that you may have on your machine will be kept private and between you and Beverly Computer. Again, this is from personal experience. They are 100% trustworthy. Would you have the kind of faith with a technician that you did not know and had not developed a personal/ business relationship with? I met Paul and Steve, when a virus crashed my computer and I was panicked and terrified. I didn't know where or who to turn to, up here on the North Shore. I am so glad that I went down to Bev. Comp. They saved my machine and recovered all of my data. You can be assured that they will do the best they can for you at a very resonable and fair price. Even if I move from the North Shore, out of state or anywhere...I would travel back to Beverly Computer and would go any distance to deal exclusively with Paul and Steve. I have that much faith in their service. Lastly, if you're reading this now...do not hesitate, get down there today, or give Paul a phone call. You'll sleep much better knowing your IT needs are in the hands of the best and most trusted service on the North Shore.

I first came in 10 years ago, where I was introduced to Kyle, the master engineer, and Kym, the master office manager. Kyle has provided top of the line service from our first encounter, and every time I have come in with an issue, whether it was a hardware or software issue, or I needed some accessories. Their service fees are extremely reasonable (less than anywhere else for better service, and less than they should be quite frankly), and you always know exactly what you're getting. Kyle has been an engineer for over 40 years, and he can give you the answer or solution to any problem you have with any electronics, and can fix practically anything. I've returned here dozens of times, for different issues with laptops, computers, external hard drives, videos, internet connection, phones, screens, passwords, and the list goes on. So I'm extremely confident in their ability to help you with absolutely any technological issue, whether you're a beginner or more advanced. Their motto is "Technological Superiority," which can be proven easily. Their office is very clean and orderly, there are no wires out of place, and they provide commercial printing services as well as selling laptops and many accessories. I'm grateful that they have been in Beverly, very convenient location, and I recommend them to anyone in New England. They do provide mobile services and will come to your home or business if the job requires. They are located downstairs now in the old RMV building, so although there is no store front, give them a call or stop by any time you have any questions or concerns. As I said in my first review, it still stands: "High-end customer service and very reasonable pricing. Business done right: with integrity, honesty, and easy-going help."

I called on a Sunday, left a message and they returned my call at 7am on Monday morning. I brought my laptop in on Monday as the LED was gone and my 8 year old laptop was running poorly. I also needed a new battery. He couldn't have been more accomodating and saved me lots of money by suggesting I forego the new battery as I always use it plugged in at my desk. He also had a used LED that he installed, cleaned and tuned up my laptop. It is now running like it used to and the cost was equivalent to a night out for dinner! Oh, and I had it back in less than 24 hours! I have been telling everyone I know about the amazing customer service, the quality of the workmanship and even more importantly, the honesty of the owner....he could have made a lot more money by telling me I would have to have a new screen and a new battery. I love this computer place…read more Dave the owner really knows his stuff. One November I needed computers (3), a server with remote access, and a network for my small business & I needed a computer set up for my father (who is in his eighties) at his home. Dave was so helpful and patient with me and my questions. He had never met me and for all he knew I was kicking the proverbial tires. In the end we came up with a good game plan for both projects that I needed and since I'm a bit flighty when it comes to computers (I so want to be a neo-Luddite.) Dave went out to my Dad's to set up his new computer and transfer files for me (great 28" screen too) and came to my work and set up and streamlined the new network. Since then, my wife has needed to replace her lap top (after a horrible experience with a month old $2,500 DELL - which reminds me that she needs to review them and give them 1-star). A week doesn't go by that she doesn't tell me how much she loves her computer from Brick. Then one Christmas I told my wife I was ready for my first lap top and again we (really she, since it was a gift for me) visited Brick and she purchased a small Acer which was perfect for my limited needs and travel. From time to time we need a mouse, or cables or a printer and Brick is there for those needs as well. And their service is top notch. If we have a problem Dave or one of his staff steps in and helps out in whatever capacity we need them. Why anyone would go anywhere else in this area is beyond me. I always love the local, small business - everything is just more genuine. There's nothing like walking in or calling and an owner knows your name. And Dave knows our names. A General Note About Supporting Your Local Small Businesses: I know some people that pick the brains of small business (or the big box stores) and then go on-line to buy something to save a couple bucks (which is not always the case by the way - Brick, as an example, has GREAT pricing). But even if that business is a couple bucks more expensive - customer service, convenience and honesty have to be worth something.
