I sent Valencia a text on Saturday requesting a quote to remove four trees in my backyard. He texted back a quote that I thought was fair and said they could do the work on Monday. He did a great job cutting down all the trees and hauling away the debris. My next door neighbor had his gardener over at the same time to trim his palm trees in his backyard. The gardener ended up asking Valencia to help since he didn't bring the right equipment to trim palm trees. Valencia did both jobs in reasonable amount time. Scheduled them for 11am. I texted them at 11:20 to find out what their eta was. The guy responded that they had some "inconveniences" come up but would come at 2. 2:30 rolls around and i text to see what time they will be here and the guy responds 3. Then he says they are in traffic won't get here till 4. I cancelled because the sun sets at 4:50 and this was at least a 2 hour job. Our electricity was out all day from a power outage and had we known they were gonna flake we could have gone to a Starbucks to work -instead we were stuck at home waiting. I had some branches hanging over my sun room, which is all glass. That's one problem. The other was the tree that had to be trimmed is a silk floss. It has huge thorns from root to branches. One man climbed the tree and hooked a rope around the offending branch before cutting it. The other man pulled the rope as the cut was made. The branch never touched the glass. It was like chopping down a tree, they knew exactly were the branch would fall. They cleaned up after the job. The price was very reasonable. I will certainly use Valencia again. read more

I used the YELP project app to get bids for removal of a queen palm. Valencia's Tree Service was very responsive and available to perform the work the very next day. The crew arrived on time and did an excellent job. The palm tree was on a narrow slope at the rear of my yard beside my in ground pool. The tree was taken down in sections and the stump was removed by hand. There was no damage to irrigation lines or other landscape. Cleanup was thorough, including debris from the pool.
