He listened carefully to the problem, made sure the details were noted, and efficiently scheduled Emilio, a Leslie's technician, to come out and take a look. My sincere thanks to Emilio for doing such a thorough inspection of the pump. He replaced the O-ring on the pipe, identified other details concerning the area beneath the pump, and gave me helpful advice on how to keep the motor in good condition. Most importantly, he was able to get the pump working properly again. Many thanks also to Brandi at the Bear Valley store, who went above and beyond by drawing on her extensive contact list to give me references for highly competent technicians who could address the additional issues Emilio identified. Leslie's manager sent someone to my home to provide an estimate for installation and material. The manager was out so the kid left in charged stated that was not his job and he didn't know how to charge me. I asked if I could pay at a different location and he called his manager who I assume made him assist me with the purchase. He was very upset, kept saying that wasn't his job, he didn't know how, I was patient waited an hr for him to figure it on the screen, he finally said he's ready for payment and wants to charge me $700 more in installment than what's on the contract, he again stated I don't know this isn't my job that's what appears, they'll refund you.. I asked when? He states "I don't know, whenever" EXTREMELY unprofessional the whole interaction. The kid has no business working there. I thought he was high at first because he seemed out of it, very uninteresting and unwilling to want to help but no he just really has no knowledge of how to do his job which he also claimed was not his job, but after calling the other store they advise me it was and where not surprised. I left early from work to get this done. He stated the manager might be in the next day but would leave early. This is thousands of dollars in purchases, you would think there would be better customer service. This is my second interaction with the kid, the first one was similar but short and the manager was there so it wasn't a big deal but this time he was left alone and there is no way no one is aware of this employees worth ethics.

When I could get a contractor to show up, we were WAY over priced as soon as they saw our home and cars and thought they hit the Lotto and tried to gouge our eyes out. I stopped at California Redwood Gazebos as I drive past them everyday and ignored the obvious right in front of me (stupid me) to see what they offered as a last resort before I just bent over and took it like a man. I am SO HAPPY I stopped and talked with Gary and the young lady in his office. I had a vision of what I wanted and most of the other contractors said it couldn't be done. ( I almost settled out of frustration) I told Gary what I was looking for and he said hang on, opened his book and said "you mean this?" BINGO, exactly what I was looking for. I made an appointment for him to come out to see what he was working with in our backyard. ( he was early to the appointment, SHOCKER) Gary took a few measurements and gave me a price that made my jaw hit the ground as it was about 40% lower than all the other quotes I got and the others were not building what I wanted. He than gave me a time frame for how long it will take to get materials after he ordered them. I signed his contract, gave him 10% deposit, he called almost to the day to send his guys out to prep my site for installation and concreted the posts for the outdoor kitchen cover (25'x25'). A few days later 1 patio cover was up and installed same day.(36'x12' off the back of the house). High winds showed up(gotta love the high desert) and the next week the larger outdoor kitchen cover was put up (25' x 25') in 1 day. Lights installed, outlets installed, everything worked!! The fit & finish is outstanding, Gary's customer service is 5 Stars all day long. His guys were very professional and answered all questions. Gary never asked for any other payments, even after all the materials were delivered. I had to call him asking if he wanted his final payment, his response was I wanted to give you a few days to make sure everything was to your liking.
