UPDATE: I'm going to change my stars to a 3 from a 1 - because this truly has been a bigger headache than it should have been. After meeting with Aaron and Carl today (11/19/2024) I feel we've come to a better understanding across the board. Secard will fix the structural issues. Unfortunately for both of us (Secard and me) my pool was built before they started making improvements. Though I appreciate Secard standing by their products - I'm still unsure that I will continue to recommend an islander pool, specifically. Though this was more affordable at the time - it just doesn't seem to hold up the way it should for the cost. Secard the business (not the product) - thank you for recognizing the fault. Thank you for documenting and giving me peace of mind. I appreciate how today's inspection went. I've had my pool since 7/2018. I've encountered problems with said pool since 5/2019. From the liner to the structure. The literal structure of my pool is failing. 6 years and this pool has been nothing but a headache and so has Seacard. I feel really bad for the new Manager Carl - he's great himself but has taken on a storm of problems. Save your money - get a "real pool" and stay away from this business at all costs. @Aaron G - an on site inspection was done on 9/6. Today I was told I would have to purchase a new liner to have the faulty repairs made or wait until my liner goes bad - either way.. not an acceptable answer in my opinion. The structure of my pool shouldn't be failing - the liner wouldn't have to be pulled back if the job had been done right. read more

Spas will only last you about 5 years , the panels will start to Crack and fade, the acrylic will start to Crack, the pipes will start to leak...not worth the money I paid for... read more

I purchased a swim spa in 2021 and have had back-to-back problems from the speakers going out, the pump going out , the jets leaking and now the spa is leaking water for the 2nd time. I called them two weeks ago to schedule a repair visit and have not had a call back yet. I paid 30,000 for my spa for them to be so inefficient and unprofessional will never recommend or use Secard again. read more

Looks like they were able to remove my last review. I have had this 18K plus pool for about 8 years now. It lasted only 4 years. Liner can't handle the desert environment. They will tell you there is a warranty on the liner but try getting them to honor that. There is always an excuse to avoid the warranties. My take on Secard Pools, DON'T INSTALL ONE OF THEIR POOLS UNLESS YOU WANT TO REPLACE THE LINER EVERY 3 TO 4 YEARS AND PAY OVER 7K FOR A REPLACMENT! Been looking at an empty hole full of dirt for years now. It's an eyesore and a reminder of what a bad decision I made walking into their store in Hesperia! read more

We purchased our spa 5/28/25 and it was delivered on 7/7/25 and was ready a couple of weeks earlier than I had expected. That was great, but unfortunately, Cal Spas should have probably put a little more care and pride into their product. There were 12 different issues that were identified on 7/7/25 (some of the issues were identified in more than one location) and Secard Pools & Spas Hesperia was notified that same evening via a very detailed email which included pictures. Most of the issues were cosmetic but impacted every issue of the spa (outside shell, interior shell, steps, under-decking, and cover). The cover had poor stitching and a tear in a spot. The shells looked like they were nicked with a knife in spots. The drain hose was stuck under the wood inside the panels and would not pull out properly. The delivery company (contracted from either Secard or Cal Spas) even attempted to show me how to open the drain plug and identified that there was an issue and then simply stated that she didn't want to break it and left it at that. The delivery company also made some notes on the delivery slip and that did not produce a call from Secard. There are two exterior corner lights that were not secured properly and were hanging down from where they should be mounted. We also had 2 of the corner lights already go out. The stairs were even delivered in the wrong color - how hard of a correction can this possibly be? I understand there are issues, and the product comes with a warranty, but with such an expensive purchase, I expect there to not be that many, or fixed quickly at the very least. After the email was sent on 7/7/25 I had not received a response and sent a follow-up email by 7/10/25 to make sure it was received. I received a response late that evening stating that they did not receive the pictures. This is reasonable, as 19 pictures were attached so it may have been too large, but the response could have come much quicker. Rather than breaking it up into several different emails we went into the store on 7/11/25 and were able to text them successfully to their email. Upon receiving the pictures the employees notified us that they would send them over to Cal Spas and even mentioned that some of the stuff needed to be corrected. We were told that they were unfortunately closed over the weekend and to expect either Cal Spas to reach our or Secard Pools & Spas to reach out the following Monday. A couple of days passed and we hadn't heard back and we reached out again and we were notified that it would be followed up on. This happened MULTIPLE times over MULTIPLE weeks. I cannot factually speak on when Cal Spas was reached out to, or frequency of Secard Pools reaching out to them, but I can factually say that the communication between Secard Pools Hesperia and us (the customer) was poor, at best. We had to reach out to them every week, except once. Each time we got them on the phone it was a runaround with excuses and them playing the victim. It is understood that Secard did not produce the spa and are only a distributor, however, they didn't have an issue taking the money to play the distributor part. Business owners need to be held accountable regardless of their part in the transaction. The staff was very friendly when purchasing the spa but after they have the money in hand, they just give you the runaround rather than results and act like they were a victim of Cal Spas, even to the point of saying they have issues with their owns spas and know how we feel. After this call we took it upon ourselves to call Cal Spa to try to figure out the issue direct. On 7/31/25 we made the call to Cal Spa, talked to a technician and then received a call from Secard Pools & Spas (a different store location) on the same day 7/31/25 to let us know that Cal Spas would be sending a technician out on 8/11/25. This was the easiest and best communication we had had so far no thanks to Secard Pools & Spa Hesperia. It is now 8/15/25 and the issues have been resolved for the most part. Cal Spas still owes us a cover because the wrong one was sent out. On the bright side, the technician from Cal Spas that came to our property to assist us with the issues was very communicative prior to coming out and was very friendly and helpful when he was at our property. Hopefully that will be the end of any issues, but for the remainder of the warranty it may be best to reach out to Cal Spas directly. We have not heard from Secard Pools & Spas Hesperia since the technician has come out to make the corrections. Not that they need to verify, but it's a testament to how much they care about the issue and the quality of communication. From this experience we would recommend waiting for Cal Spas to be selling at the fair when you can order directly for them instead of dealing with the run around of buying through a dealer like Secard Pools & Spas Hesperia. read more

They KNOWINGLY sold me a defective pool. The pool that they gave to me was not in a box, because of this i asked if they had tested the pool for damage before hand. I was assured that there was nothing wrong. However, after setting up the pool at home, it became clear there was a significant hole causing water to leak. MIND YOU the cost of the pool was 27,000 PLUS TAX, i paid for a new pool, not a damaged or previously used pool. Which is what I received from Secard Pools & Spas. Not only did I waste time and effort setting up a faulty product, but I also felt misled by the lack of honesty from the staff. I can't help but feel as though all of the employees there were in on this. They'll do anything to make a sale, even if it means lying and misleading their customers by selling defective products. I WOULD NOT recommend Secard Pools & Spas to anyone looking for reliable products or HONEST service. And if you are going to buy from this place? MAKE SURE YOU KNOW THEIR RETURN POLICY. read more

Bought my pool here! Bought all my supplies here including the awesome automatic vacuum! My water has always been blue except I was out of town and my pool turned green, had no chlorine! Shocked it and still green. My levels were all great (chlorine, ph, alkalinity etc) took a sample to my local Secard pool store and they checked for phosphates! Sure enough, phosphate level was super high! Bought a phosphate remover and treated it for a week. Solved the issue. Back to crystal blue water! I went in on Saturday to buy a NEW above ground pool. The employees willingly sold me a pool that was damaged it had been previously opened and inspected to which they found a "pinsized" hole on it. They forgot to take off the note taped on the pool. I found the note after I brought the pool home and unraveled it. Sunday morning I am taking the pool back to the store. I paid $2700+ on debit. I had to wait two weeks for my refund. I strongly feel I was discriminated against and treated poorly for Being Latina. They totally tried to take advantage of me. They tried to get away with selling me a damaged pool. And still made me feel like I was bothering them by returning the pool the very next day. Absolutely disgusting service. Update * What the manager is posting in defense is NOT true. The pool had a hole, and they still sold it that way, nobody told me it had a hole. I discovered that AFTER I PAID FOR IT AND BROUGHT IT HOME AND ATTEMPTED TO INSTALL IT. whomever wrote the note and used tape to place the note on the pool before it was sold forgot the remove the note upon selling this pool. To which I was their victim/ customer to buy this damaged pool. At no moment did I yell or mistreat anyone in that store. Rather I was continually ignored and treated with disrespect. I was the only person to return the pool. Nobody else was with me. These people just want to save face. Where is my apology??? Where is the accountability for what your employees did? Wasting my time? You all knew the pool was damaged but still wanted to make the sale. That's all it is. You don't care. You just wanted to get paid. read more

Avoid doing business here! After three years with my Islander Pool, I feel my review of this business is fair and accurate considering that some time has gone by. With that said, our liner is slipping out of the tracks and falling outward in a few areas. Surprisingly, we were told it's a manufacturer defect. So why are we having to pay for someone to fix this problem. This whole thing could have partially been prevented after speaking to Laurie who advised that the white track is merely cosmetic and not to worry about it slipping out. Uhhh, that's what holds in the liner! After telling Laurie about the problem, she gave me a number to a repair man named Beau Johnson. Long story short, Beau told me to partially drain my pool so he could fix the tracks easier and he was a no call no show. Unbelievable how terrible the customer service is here. They are super nice when trying to get a sale, but after they get your money you are on your own! I wish I had gone someplace else. I do not recommend this company to anyone. How does a company not offer any in house repairs? Instead, it's a random guy named Beau who probably bought chlorine from them told them he knows how to fix liners. read more

It's been 3 years now since having our Islander pool and we realize just how terrible Secard's customer service is. When you are a new customer, they seem great, but that is only because they want your money. Our liner was recently slipping because of the cheap track they use to keep it in place. This all happened to us when we do not have pool parties. The pool is only used by us, a family of 4. When reaching out to Secard regarding our liner slipping, they tell you that they do not have anyone employed by them to fix the problem. Instead, they tell you to find a third party to fix it for you, basically leaving you on your own. I would not recommend Secard to anyone. We are very disappointed with this company after having spent around 40k for a pool. read more

We purchased a five person spa from them and we were told after it was delivered to fill it up and then call them and they would walk us through the control panel. During the purchase, they talked about how their customer service was top of the line. When I called to have them walk me through the control panel, It was very clear that they had very little knowledge of how the control panel worked themselves. As it turned out the control panel was defective and we were unable to use the Jacuzzi. They had told me that they were working on it and that they were going to get back to me, but I had to call them the next day to find out the status and I was told that when they figured something out they would let me know. I let them know that I would cancel the purchase if they didn't get back with me by the end of business day. Their response was they have other customers too and I needed to get in line. After much hassle with them, I finally had a service person come out and repair the control panel. I do not recommend this place to buy your Jacuzzi they have also lost any chance of me coming back to buy my pool supplies there. At no time was there ever a hint of bad language on either side. The only yelling that was done was made by Carl, the manager of the Hesperia store. They did offer me a service call that they wanted to schedule for the following Monday, I told him that was not acceptable and that they needed to move something around to get the problem taken care of. They did have a service man come out on Wednesday and he took care of the problem. The service man that came out was absolutely the most knowledgeable and professional person of this whole organization. Their response to my complaint is a total fabrication and lie. It was a beautiful morning as I sat in my dining room drinking a cup of coffee. All of a sudden CRASH!!! The wife yelled "the pool just ruptured." Yes, 8000+ gallons of water out all over my desert property. After inspecting all, I began researching for a new pool first with Splash Pools to replace what I lost. They said call back in September. It's April. The search continues. After hours on the internet we decided to visit Secard Pools & Spas in Hesperia. We spoke with Christine who was very helpful and informative. I walked outside to inspect the pools on display. They install similar to what I had and one was 1' longer and 1' wider than mine. That's perfect! Now the big question. Do you have one in stock? YES was her response. I'll take it! Christine wrote up the order explaining everything and did I mention all with a great big smile. She was wonderful. I wish I had a neighbor like her. They loaded everything in my pickup truck and I was off to install my new pool. My son and his friends helped. It was all done in about 3 hours. (Don't try to install one yourself without help.) We're still filling the water and with these 99 desert temps, we can't wait to jump in. I highly recommend Secard Pools & Spas and if you see Christine, please say hello from Ed & Robin. read more
