I did curbside pickup for V Pizza earlier this week. Once again getting these amazing Signature Wings and they did not disappoint. I can go on and on about how tasty the food is here and how I will probably return in the next week or 2 for more wings and a calzone. But I'm sure I did that in my 1st review of the place. However, I feel it important to mention that when bringing my order for curbside pickup, they were not wearing a mask. In order to hand me my order through my window, they were definitely closer than 6 feet. Plus, since they have great customer service skills, the guy was friendly and said a few things during the exchange. Well here's mine: Parking: 5 Location: 5 Decor/ambiance: 5 Customer Service: 5 Dude, let's be honest, you can grab a good pizza in North Carolina, the Raleigh triangle area just about anywhere. But I got to take 10 seconds to stop and really dish out some respect to V Pizza! Pizza here is not like anything we've had in the triangle. These guys are onto something and it shows. We've been to V Pizza on several occasions. Most recently we stop by to grab the Mac attack. I may be calling at the wrong name but all I can tell you is order the pizza that has macaroni on it, you can thank me for this recommendation later. Guys, there's nothing in the triangle like this pizza. Anytime I'm in the Cary area, I'll make it my business to stop by and grab a pie. The staff are always awesome. The team that works there do a great job of learning the locals by name as well as the staff are always happy to help where needed. Wow! Cannot believe it has taken us so long to try this place out! Started with a caprese salad, the balsamic vinegar was excellent with the fresh mozzarella, basil, tomato, and good amount of mixed greens. Pizza is so delicious, a good amount of fresh ingredients on a thinner crust with a great sauce. We got the classic V margarita pizza with pepperoni added. Impressive beer selection which they actually serve in a glass from each of the breweries. Very cool! Service was wonderful, sat at the bar and was offered samples of beers to pick the best ones we wanted to have in a pint. We will definitely be back. Want to try the wings next time. read more

We have often dined at vpizza since it opened in Cary; we've shared with many friends how delicious the pizza is - always fresh ingredients, tasty, good service. But over the last couple years the quality of the food has gone steadily downhill. We just ordered 4 pizzas for pickup on 10/31/24, Spent a lot of money on the specialty pizzas and pizzas with several extra toppings. Nice tip. But very disappointed, and annoyed, when we got home that each of the pizzas had sparse amount of ingredients, some pizzas misshapen with huge bubbled crust and smaller diameter of ingredient area(like 9 inches of ingredients) . $24 speciality pizzas looked like small personal pizza with minimal toppings. Have to say this will be last time ordering pizza there. We've had much better in the past here but we felt especially ripped off here. Done. read more

It's Jersey Girl Approved! So I finally got a chance to try this place out. I had heard people speak highly about but it always looked closed. I went in and was greeted immediately by two people (Spoiler - This place has great service). The young person at the counter asked if I was picking up and it was clear that is what most people do as I saw people coming in to pick up during this time. I asked for outdoor seating and was told to go find a seat and someone would be out shortly. It had just finished raining but all the seating was dry! #Winning I grabbed some menus and found a seat. The server who helped us was very knowledgeable about the menu and explained the pizza and offered some suggestions. We opted for the Napoli and wings. Signature Wings were spicy yet had a rich flavor Marinated Wings were sweet and had this lovely onion on top Napoli Pizza was served quickly and hot, it has a great wood fire taste, crust was delicious and toppings were fresh. The Beer - so I server told us they weren't too informed about the beer but sent the bartender out! #WinningAgain We tried a flight and the seasonal pumpkin with a sugar, honey, cinnamon rim - So Good! V Pizza provides such a nice change of pace from standard delivery pizza. We visited during lunch time and it was practically empty, which I enjoy. We tried the Pizza Delle Donne and V-Signature Wings. The pizza was delicious and light with the complimenting flavors. The wings were the show stealer though. First time here, and saw all the great reviews on Yelp so I had to give it a try for myself! We went around 7pm on a Saturday - there was a short wait of 15 minutes if you didn't mind inside or outside seating. We ended up sitting outside, and were greeted shortly after. We placed our order in which we ordered their buffalo wing special pizza that day along with their Hawaiian wings. We were told when we placed the order that the wings would take about 45minutes and the pizza roughly the same as the kitchen was behind this night. We said that was fine as we had nothing else going on that night. Our waitress also made sure to describe the type of pizza they have their as its a bit different then the usual. They try to be as authentic as Napoli Italy pizza. The pizza has a soupy center and a thinner crust. The wait for the wings was around the 45minute wait and the pizza was closer to an hour wait of when it came out. Everything was good, I wouldn't say it blew me out of the water. But again, I think it may just be a desired taste. Being from Buffalo - we like to say we know what good wings and pizza are. But in the end everything was tasty, and they were even so nice to give a gift card to apologize for such the long wait. read more

I passed this place on the way to a dentist appointment and then read the Yelp reviews. I've lived in NC for 5.5 years now and had despaired of ever finding a decent pizza place. (Similarly, I have *completely* given up on finding really good Chinese food.) The concerns expressed by many of the reviewers about the wait times turned out to be warranted. To be fair, however, I was told as soon as I was seated to expect a wait because they were short-handed, so at least they were trying to manage expectations. I ordered a 10" sausage and cheese pizza. Once I was able to order (probably 10-15 minutes after sitting down), it did take a while to arrive. When it did, it looked good. Additionally, the guy who delivered it to me said there had been a mistake in the kitchen, so I got a large pizza instead of the 10" - but that was on them, so they would charge me the 10" price. So there was that. The pizza was fine. I did like their crust and the sauce. The sausage, though, was pretty bland. (Tip for V: Find out from Ricci's (also in Cary) where they get their sausage. As I recall, it's shipped to them from New York.) One other (lesser) issue: I was freezing in that place. Maybe because I was sitting at the bar since I was there by myself and maybe the areas with tables were warmer, but I didn't take my coat off the entire time. I enjoyed Pizza la Stella so was surprised when I found out V Pizza was the new tenant. Pleasantly surprised- every time I've been in there it's pretty crowded. Been here a few times and I've only ever eaten wings from here- my go to are the Calabrian and the crying Hawaiian wings when I want some flavor. Pro tip- they let you order half and half. I was disappointed with my most recent order though... the wings weren't crispy (flavor was there), I didn't get any carrots/celery or any dipping sauce (ranch/blue cheese) nor was asked on the phone for a choice. I follow a couple of foodie instagrammers local to the Triangle and this place was highly recommended by them. Coming from the Northeast, I've had trouble finding good, brick oven thin crust pizza in the area. V pizza is a small chain that has various locations across the South. Walking into the restaurant it reminded me of a classic restaurant reminiscent of the ones from my childhood. I came with 5 friends and we asked to be seated outside since we were not comfortable sitting inside. The hostess graciously accommodated us and gave 10 person table outside (way more space than we needed but it was the only table outside they had available). We ordered the lunch special and we each got our own personal specialty pizzas. This was amazing because it was a Saturday and they were still offering a lunch special. We ordered the mac attack pizza (with pesto marinated chicken & one with just mac & cheese), the Pizza Napoli, Pizza Flyin' Hawaiian, and the Pizza Pollo Calabrese. I was impressed and really enjoyed all the pizzas I got to try and thin crust was exactly what I was looking for. I will be back. Amazing pizza doesn't even begin to cover it! We started with the meatballs and Italian sausage with peppers. Both were delicious. The meatballs and sausage were cooked perfectly, the marinara was amazing! I could have taken the marinara home and made a spaghetti with it. Then came the V Special Wings. We ordered 2 servings of 10. I'm not a fan of wings but these were delicious! Packed with flavor, seasoned perfectly, extremely well balanced. Wonderful! Then, the pizza! The mac attack was freaking amazing! I love it! I was a little worried about the pesto on it but I couldn't even tell, they balanced the pizza so well! The bolognese pizza was just as delicious! We couldn't stop eating! Absolutely wonderful food! Our waiter was great! Attentive, made great suggestions. We were getting checked on by other staff as well. I have been reading a lot about the wings here as they are wood fired in their pizza ovens. I must say they are good, but I thought the skin would be a little more crispy. Great flavor with the spices! I had the signature wings. No heat, but really good. Also, the grilled onions that came with them have been soaked in wine for 24 hours before being cooked! I've been back twice since my initial visit and have to say I've been disappointed each time in the Italian beef sandwich. The beef is definitely not cut thin enough. Don't get me wrong, there's a ton of beef in this sandwich and it's tasty, but when it's not cut thin enough, traditionally in Chicago where this sandwich originates the beef is almost see through, it becomes a task to be able to chew it. Plus the bun they use absolutely cannot hold up the weight of the beef and it quickly falls apart with the beef landing everywhere all over the plate. Having to eat this type of sandwich, which I've had my whole life, with a fork and knife is not my idea of how to eat it. Try as people might, replicating a Chicago style Italian beef sandwich in this area does not prove successful. read more

I can't say enough good things about this place. The one exception is the prices. Ouch. But if the saying, you get what you pay for, is true - this is a fantastic example. We ordered the V wings - they are amazing!!! The caramelized onions at the top added such a unique depth of flavor to what is anything but a typical wing dish. These are charbroiled wings people!!! Delishhhhh. Their pizzas are cooked the same way. I swear that stone fire oven has to be 800 degrees. Pizza came out perfectly crispy if not slightly charred - the way they do in Italy!! We got the pizza with capicola, prosciutto, spicy salami and I added arugula. Wow. Flavor blast. I also had their Italian Beef hoagie. Pretty delicious but probably wouldn't order again. Wow - First time visiting and it was great. We came for lunch and sat outside as the weather has been fantastic. We opened an umbrella and enjoyed the shade, though much of the shade came from the trees and plants next to the outdoor dining area. We ordered the signature wings to get things started. They were great. Very juicy and plump, plus they had an amazing char on them - full of flavor! My wife and I each ordered a personal sized lunch pizza. She got the "Pizza Napoli" and I got the "Pollo Calabrese" - both were perfectly cooked. The crust was both flavorful and just the right amount of crispy. The toppings were fresh. As advertised, the Calabrese Pizza was spicy! So be aware of that if you order it. I loved it, but I also like a good amount of heat, of which it certainly delivered. To finish, we shared a cannoli. So impressed with V Pizza. We love this place and can't wait to go back. We ordered the Pizza Bolognese which came fresh with incredible sauce, mozzarella and fresh meatballs. So fresh and flavorful, we just wished there was more of it! We also got the V Signature wings which blew our minds. They were hot, sticky and juicy, with incredible flavor. The best wings we've had in a while. The staff took all precautions to make sure their patrons felt safe and comfortable. Everyone wore masks and the occupancy was at 50%. I have never written a Yelp review, but I feel strongly that this one should be written. Tonight, we drove 30 minutes to Cary to try V Pizza. As we walked up a young boy (maybe 13) in a V Pizza t-shirt told us there was a very long wait. We walked to the front anyways, and the restaurant was half empty, and there was no one at the hostess stand. We waited and finally decided to just sit at the end of the bar. It was a while before someone asked us what we wanted to drink. When we finally got a drink, a young girl suddenly reached across me and slammed down two dirty glasses on top of each other directly in front of me. The salt from their rims went flying all over the bar top in front of me. I thought, ok, that was odd. A few minutes later, it happened again with four more glasses, and her arm coming in contact with my body. At this point, there is a lot of salt and there are 6 dirty glasses where I'm about to eat. I turned to her and said, "could you please not place dirty dishes in front of where I'm about to eat?" She turned around and ran off without a comment. A few minutes later the young boy who'd told us the restaurant was full came over and slammed two dirty glasses down beside my husband and ran off laughing. I was irritated at this point. Then, a woman came over from behind the bar and said, in a very sarcastic tone, "I'm sorry she put dirty glasses in front of you, but she's 14 and can't come behind the bar." We soon realized she was the underage waitress' mom when she called "mom" out to her from across the restaurant. The whole scene was madness, and the pizza was average to boot. I've seen lots of people rave about this place, so when I was having intense pizza cravings on Labor Day I decided to make the trek into Cary for dinner here. Parking was a breeze and the place was surprisingly empty. We got to pick our own table outside (they do offer indoor seating also), and much to my delight their patio area is dog friendly! We started with a few drinks - Moscow mule (Tito's is +$2) and a Pernicious. I love that they have a ton of good local beers to choose from, and for my next round I got the Bond Brothers Local IPA - tasty as always! We ordered the Signature wings for an appetizer. They came out quickly and they were sooo meaty and delicious. I don't normally eat wings, and I NEVER eat wings without ranch (these didn't come with any dipping sauce), but honestly they didn't need anything the flavor was that good. The red onions probably weren't necessary but who doesn't love a good pickled o? We also got the Carnivora pizza which is hands down some of my favorite pizza I've ever eaten in the Triangle. Perfect amount of toppings and the fresh garlic and basil completes the package. Despite the drive, I will most definitely return! read more

We stopped into V Pizza last Saturday prior to our movie night (Top Gun Maverick). We had heard about it and I researched the reviews here on Yelp so we decided to check it out for an early dinner. The restaurant is located in the Brier Creek shopping center on the north east end. The center is sprawling but it was easy to find. You can either order at the counter and sit or opt for table service which we did. We sat outside on the patio. It was nice and each table had an umbrella to block out the late spring Carolina sun. Our server was prompt and courteous and gave suggestions regarding the menu. You can order beer and wine at V Pizza or opt for a cocktail from Flask Cocktail Bar which is right next door. Just be mindful you will incur two separate tabs. We opted for a cocktail to start. I had the Tom Collins, my wife had the Meet Me at The Lighthouse. Both were refreshing on this hot day. For an appetizer we got the Napoletana Salad. It was tasty, crunchy, and very nice. Next up we spilt a Paolo pie. It's topped with San Marzano tomato sauce, bufala, mozzarella fresh mushroom, and Prosciutto di Parma. It was delicious!!! Not NYC pizza but, delicious none the less. Afterward, we shared a small cup of chocolate chip gelato. Again, it was fresh and delicious. We had a really nice pre movie meal here at V Pizza! Definitely check this place out! read more

He said he'd make it work. He should have let them replace but he's not that kind of person. My point is it should have never been sent out that way. That pizza wash so bad My wasn't as bad as his but when you pay about $20 a 13 in pizza it should come out worthy of the price. I got the flyin Hawaiian and it was so dry. Love Love Love V pizza! It's a small chain from Florida that operates family owned, and when you dine, you feel like family! As a fellow New Yorker, I believe the owner was from New York so what's not to love. Came with 5 friends and were seated outside on the patio, social distancing was enforced and the staff all wore masks. Wine pizza and winos were ordered and although our friend had warned us, we were still blown away by the quality. The wings were amazing, slightly crispy, perfectly baked and seasoned for even the most discerning palette. The pizza was delicious and everything was served family style, perfect for sharing. Love this place! We ordered to go based on the current no dining in and I was super happy we did. This is not a traditional pizza but it has amazing flavors and taste! We had the grilled chicken Cesar salad for starters! Amazing as it has shredded pesto chicken ok it and it was super fresh! We also had the classic wings which came with an order of 10. These are marinated beautifully and cooked in a wood fire oven. I'd have to say these were perfect I didn't need any dipping sauce or anything. Third we had the Bolognese pizza with extra garlic. The tomato's were sweet, it was cooked perfectly and it has just the right about of sauce! My husband ate most of pizza and I stayed on the healthier side with the salad and grilled wings!
