Do not take your kids here. This salon performed a full set of nails on my 14-year-old daughter without my knowledge or consent. I was not present, and no one contacted me before starting. When I arrived, I was told it was already done and I was expected to pay. I was essentially put in a position where I had no real choice. The technician was on FaceTime during the appointment, not paying attention, and did not do what was asked. The nails turned out nothing like requested and looked terrible. I now have to spend more money to have them removed and redone somewhere else. Performing services on a minor without parental consent and then demanding payment is completely unacceptable. Add in the lack of professionalism, and this was a terrible experience all around. Parents--be aware before sending your child here. read more

I wanted an ombré design on my toenails, but I was initially told it couldn't be done. I said that was fine and that I would go somewhere else instead of getting the service. After looking at my nails, they told me it couldn't be done with an airbrush but assured me they could still do it another way, so I agreed. Unfortunately, the result looked terrible. Usually I have great experiences at V nails. Unfortunately today they did not meet me standards and I don't know if they would meet anyone else's. My finger was burning the whole time even with efforts of stopping it. This has never happened when I have gotten acrylics done and it didn't make it enjoyable. Honestly worst nails I have ever gotten. I spent $50 on a full set, shellac. She was sloppy, unsanitary, and cut me multiple times. Not to mention my nails are wonky, thick, and all different lengths. I asked for square rounded and some how I ended up with blobs. She let the acrylic and bonding agent go all over my fingers and then took the drill to them to shape them??? My friends nails even turned out janky. 10/10 will not be returning. Oh and at the end where they normally massage your hands with lotion, they just dumped oil in my hand and made me rub it in while there was still powder all over my fingers...really hoping I don't get an infection. read more

I am really sad to post this because I always have had good experiences here. however last week I came in for a manicure because it's usually quick and I had reservations for lunch. i made an appt and got in right away but the woman who worked on my nails was so slow. she kept talking and would completely stop working on my nails. she told me about a court case where she was accused of harassment. it all felt inappropriate. She also told me she was psychic and shared her view on religion. she just kept holding my hands and talking and slowly painted them. finally an hour in I had to tell her I had to get going and to please finish. I felt like she wanted me to be her counselor or something. everyone around me was in and out quickly. I won't be going back again read more

I just came here to share my absolute wonder experience at VNails yesterday morning! I got dip on my nails and a shellac pedicure! I was getting my nails done and they asked if I was going to get a pedicure. I didn't have much time because I had to get home, so they did my nails and toes at the same time! I was in and out in about and hour and my nails are perfect!!! I am always so impressed with VNails, but this was just another example of why they are the best in town! I have been going to V Nails for years and I think they do the best job in town on my nails. They are not my favorite place for pedicures though. The salon is very busy/popular, so they get you in and out quick, which I love, because I prefer not to spend more than an hour getting my nails done. This is not a place to go if you want to be pampered all afternoon. They have tons of colors for shellac and dip powder to choose from. They file the dip really well so that it isn't too thick, therefore it looks really natural. Other places I have been in town never give me natural looking dip. Came in for a polish change and 2 put a thin layer on 2 cracked nails. I wanted orange French tips. Sara did my pinky nail and after I told her one side was thicker, to make it thinner, she said "I do other side thicker". That's not what I asked you to do! She takes it off and just does another layer of clear and puts oil on my nails. I told her I wanted orange tips and she says "you didn't like", ok and, I told you to do one thing and you did another. Her response "I have to get home too" we'll it's not my Fault you did a rush job and did my nail uneven. So I had to leave with no design, just some bullshit polish. I made an appointment here for 4:30 which was confirmed via text but then got a call saying my appointment time wasn't available anymore. Which was weird because it was an appointment they had already confirmed. I came in about an hour earlier instead and had anna. She was nice, but didn't really follow what I wanted. I showed a reference pic and my nails are way longer even though I said i want the exact same color length and shape. There were ants everywhere!!! I got a pic of one, and while having my nails done there were two on my hand when I said something she just laughed. After leaving I noticed my two thumb nails that were done TODAY as a fresh set, not a fill, look like theyve been grown out for about a week. You can see the half moon on my natural nail. My fingers are also very scraped up. Will be calling tomorrow to ask for a refund or filing a chargeback. read more

The acrylics were terrribly painted! I asked for an ombré and it was very poorly done . My friends thought they looked poorly painted too. They clipped my natural nailed in a shape that the lady didn't even try to make look good. It was very jagged and crooked. Will not be coming back. They cut my skin twice. I went for a pedicure and a new set of acrylics. I got in right away. The pedicure was quick. There should have been 2 coats on my toes. You could see holes on the nails that weren't covered. The nail experience was awful. The older lady doing it acted like doing my nails was an inconvenience. She was rough and twisted my fingers in directions they aren't supposed to go. I have arthritis in some of my fingers and asked her multiple times to stop. She didn't. My fingers hurt for days after my appointment. She burned several of my fingers removing excess gunk under the nails. I will never go back. read more

Visited on a busy Thursday night. I got a seat right away for a shellac pedicure. She used a plastic liner for the foot tub, which was hygienic. She used the Mr Pumice purple stone but not the 'cheese grater' looking thing for the callous removal, which doesn't work as well . She was quick though which I appreciated. Nice calf and foot massage. Would recommend for a quick stop, but probably won't be my go-to place. $45 (before tip) for shellac pedicure with callous treatment, massage, hot stone massage, hot towel wrap, shaping/filing. This salon is in a great and easy to find location. Lots of close by parking as well. Was surprised they were open on New Year's Day, but it was very easy to make an appointment. When I walked in there was not a proper receptionist to check me in. But one of them mumbled under their mask to check in. There wasn't really a place to check in, so it was a bit confusing. Someone else came up and told me to go pick a color instead. As I was trying to find a color and chat with a friend my nail tech yelled across the room at me, "Did you pick a color?" I felt a bit rushed but decided on a color (there wasn't much to choose from). Even though I had booked all 3 manicure appointments together, I had to sit on the opposite side of the room (there was a partition and I couldn't even see my friends). From the beginning the nail tech was in a rush to get my appointment done and out of the way. She didn't seem the least bit interested in friendly conversation. I complimented her nails, but didn't get a response from her. She was not only in a hurry to finish, but also rough with my hands, cuticles and nails. At one point she stopped to take a personal call on her cell phone. Told me to go wash my hands. I'd never been there before and didn't know where the sink was so I had to ask her, TWICE. Because she was ignoring me. Once I got back she asked me to pay before she started painting. Which was a good idea so I wouldn't mess up my nails afterwards. She tossed my change on the table in front of me. I actually tipped her quite well on top of that - 50%!!! Anyhow it was done and over in about 20 mins. Definitely not the relaxing experience I was hoping for. I will not recommend this place nor return. Not to mention my nails have already chipped and pealed less than 24 hours later. read more

The service is ok-ish. i got acrylics there and the polish on top is messy and the shape is just weird. the polish doesn't even go all the way down to my cuticles. i'm disappointed. they also aren't very patient with you if you can't understand. My mom didn't realize she said "wash your hands" and when my mom asked to repeat the lady smirked and made a rude face. They did not do a good job on my my sister or my mom. I've been coming to this nail salon for a few years and it seems like it has slowly fallen into the same trend as most nail salons. Slowly downhill. I really struggled with giving them a four but after my last two visits I decided on a 3 star. Still not bad and definitely not horrible. Two visits ago I requested a color number and the gal grabbed the wrong number (since the don't use the actual color names), when I asked her she insisted and rolled her eyes at me proceeding to paint my nails. She actually did a good job. The color stayed on for almost 3 weeks. When I returned to remove and change my color. They switched my technician twice, but not a big deal. The girl was really nice to me. However, I had to keep asking her to make my nail shape even. One side was pointed up. She said no, it's good, it looks okay. I felt bad for continuously asking her but come on, they were still lopsided! When it came to the color it was so thin she had to do an additional coat. I should have known it was not going to last. The shellac ended up peeling after 3 days. What a waste of $30 plus tip. I'm not sure I feel it will be worth it to come back to play the game of Roulette, what type of manicure am I going to get. On the positive side, they do give a great pedicure and they use the liners in the baths. read more

I feel that overall this place is pretty average the acrylic nails are really good,I haven't gotten anything else but I am hoping to sometime soon. The only thing is that they don't really talk much from my experience with the people that have done my nails. But I guess it just depends on who you get. But yeah, and the only other thing I'm disappointed about is that the acrylics used only be $26 but now its $30 for the regular shape but they charge an extra $5 (so $35 total) which I was bummed about, but other than that they are pretty good. read more

She did not communicate with me at all (which would've been completely fine had the job been efficient and well done(. the job was so poorly done that I'm not completely confident the fake nail is completely off or whether it was just filed down to be very thin. Myself, my sister & her girls came for a little pampering before vacation to have toes & nails done. It was far from pampering. So disappointing We felt like we were in an assembly line at a factory, and not a gentle one! They were rough, rude & fast! I was so preoccupied by the rudeness & chaos that I forgot to even turn my chair on or put my purse down. It was stressful! The young girl who did mine was nice enough, but then when I asked her to fix my nail that she smudged when putting my sandals on, she rolled her eyes! The young girl who helped my sister yelled at her once, pulled her leg & broke one of her nails! And my niece got burned by the hot towel on her leg!
