Hands down the best nail I've ever been too. David & Ken are the two that always do my nails and they always come out perfect. They last way longer than anywhere I've ever gone before too. The best part is the prices. You absolutely cannot beat them anywhere. Definitely check this place out! read more

They Were horrible horrible horrible! Not only do I not like my nails, the lady that did them was rude! I will never come back here again!! She was so lazy, she didn't bother to take off all of my nail polish and I had a red polish on before, plus 2 hours of my life I'll never get back! read more

I've been here a few times and I love it. The second time I brought my 6 yr old daughter and they treated her just as well as me. Staff is very friendly and the facility is clean. read more

My mom and me went in based on the reviews. I do nails and hair so I'm really picky where I go and how clean things are. David did my acrylics and another lady did my moms pedi. David is very friendly and does a perfect job. Check this place out if you have problems finding a good nail salon. read more

I've come here a couple of times and never had a problem up until now, I referred a few of my family members to come here but I am now upset and embarrassed to have recommended this place to them because of the bad service and experience they had to go through! First of all how is it going to be two different prices for the same service, I don't understand. So make sure you are being charged correctly and not differently from others. Secondly if the person doing your pedicure is doing a very bad job and you ask them to stop because you're not satisfied then they should stop! This person became angry with my family member and forcefully grabbed her foot and said "no I have to finish!" I'm in shock of her behavior and to top it off didn't even polish her toe nails, of course because why waste their gel nail polish, but she sure was quick to charge her! So to save you the trouble, time and money of going here, I hope this was very helpful. If you still decide to get service here, then at least let me save you the very bad service from the person who gave my family member a terrible experience! So please be aware of this horrible person named Penny! Stay away from Penny..good luck. read more

I have been going to V Nails almost exclusively for the past five years every couple of weeks. All of the manicurists I have had have been pretty good but there seems to have been a change about 7 months back. Since then, many of the usual manicurists seem to be gone like Ken, Amy and Jane. The newer manicurists are fine so I am not complaining but there are some changes. The last several times I went in, I have had Tina and gotten a dipping powder manicure. She takes her time and I have been pleased. The manicures last three weeks and possibly could last more except for the nail growth. Yes it is pricey but compared to a regular manicure which lasts usually less than a week, it is well worth it. read more

Always great service and never a long wait for walk-ins. Talented manicurists.

Amy is the best gal to look for here. She does my eyelashes and Gel Manicure. Their Deluxe Pedicure with foot spa is also a service I always avail of. read more

I have been coming to this location for many many years. Ken no longer works here. Andy is the new owner/manager whatever and is at Kens old station. Now I'm going to be very honest. Very clean- yes. But when it comes to the latest in Nail Design this store is severely lacking. A few occasions I have shown a pic and it clearly is done with polish and am always trying to be sold for different color acrylic powders therefore more $$$. There have been many times where I get a no because blah blah blah. I am also in the business of hair. I have a total lack of respect for people who stop learning their craft. It's happened here. They don't even try. Not a good place to come for personalized or artistic acrylics. Also it may benefit Andy to stop telling his clients they can't scratch a itch or move their hair because in HIS MIND if u do while he is working on you he will say you will ruin them... something about oils from skin... I dunno. Been getting nails for 25 yrs never had a issue in the past. Dear Andy- they are MY hand I will do what I want with them. Lol. Sad but I am searching elsewhere. read more

AMAZING! go to nail salon, Ken is my absolute favorite. very detailed oriented and time friendly

I have been going here for about 2 years now, at first i loved this salon but as of my last 6 visits they are increasingly got worse. They have gotten rude, impatient and their work is sloppy. I even encountered one of the nail tech's arguing with my loudly over the shape i wanted my nail. When i speak up about the way i'd like my nail to be shaped or colored, i often get ridiculed or argued with & the result is me not liking the nail & just settling with how the nail tech wants to do my nails. read more

AMAZING! I went to V Nails for a typical mani/pedi....and decided to upgrade from the $20 pedicure to the $45 spa/luxury pedicure. You are presented a "menu" of nail services once your feet are soaking and you've settled into the most incredible pedicure chair I have ever experienced. The chair has over 10 settings of massage functions and it truly rivals a professional massage!! There are several different pedicure offerings but I highly recommend the spa/luxury one. The menu indicates it is a 45 minute service but my professional-Tracy-spent 75 minutes on my feet!! She started with the soak, nail cutting, filing, then an exfoliating treatment, then a chocolate mask, then callus remover treatment, then a menthol type mask, then a paraffin treatment, then a 5 minute (each leg) foot and leg massage with cocoa butter, then a hot stone massage....and then finally polish. This kind of heaven would run you several hundred dollars in Chicago!!! Both the manicure and pedicure stations are grouped in two's...so next time I"ll bring the hubby too!! The room is very nice with high ceilings and ceiling fans so it doesn't smell like you are in a nail salon. Everything was spotless and the nail instruments were individually packaged so you can tell they were properly sanitized. The music was very nice and soothing and not your average "bird chirping" spa music. I went with the "regular" $14 manicure so can't review their other manicure services but their inventory of nail colors and instruments surely indicate they are specialists in all types of nail art. And, just when I thought I was ready to go, Tracy said "lean up a bit" and proceeded to give me a shoulder/neck massage!!! I highly recommend V Nails and will be back often!! Unbelievable value for $58!!!! read more

First of all I must say its always clean and I LOVE Ken. I come in pretty regularly for my acrylic fills and periodic pedi's. The last time I was in there was when Ken was on vacation for a few weeks. So some else helped me. It was time to take off the old set, and get a fresh set on. So we started the process and I had an older women help me, don't remember the name. She asked what I wanted and I explained the coffin shape which I usually only go to men for. Mind you she was rushing though the process because the were closing soon and was being rough with taking the nails off. Got a ride vibe from her. When it was all said and done I go to pay, and she charges me $30 plus the typical credit card fee.. I have NEVER paid that price for that service there. She said that he must not be charging me the right price and it cost extra to take off the nails and put a new set on. Honesty I was very unhappy. You can't charge about $10 more than you normally charge me for my service. Anyway the job wasn't very good, and looked nothing like coffin shape. So to say I won't be returning anymore, I will be finding a new nail place. read more

Beautiful salon, professional services, great VALUE, prices are really, really good.

So, my usual place is closed on Sunday which is what brought me to this salon. V Salon is lovely, very clean, and has an excellent friendly staff. The basic pedicure is $18, an extra $1 to put on my charge card but that was fine by me. The service included a 4 minute leg/foot massage, a quick but very pleasant hot stone treatment and a hot towel treatment. The massage chairs were quite comfy too. Above all else, my toes look adorable. One of the best nail polish jobs I've ever had. I'll be back for a mani/pedi combo for $30! read more

Made an appointment here for a manicure and pedicure. When I walked in, I announced that I was there for both services. The manicurist that "greeted" me (I'll call him Carrot Top, because he never introduced himself and had orange spikey hair) showed me to a chair. He acted bored the entire time he was doing my pedicure, never attempting to make conversation. I have had MUCH better pedicures elsewhere. When he finished the pedicure, he walked away and sat down with his cell phone, acting toally bored. After a few minutes, he went in the back room. I told another manicurist that I also had asked for a manicure. She went to get "Carrot Top," who emerged still looking totally bored. He did a quick manicure, then disappeared again. I let my nails dry about 15 minutes, then got up to leave and smudged a nail. When I asked to have it repaired, "Carrot Top" looked totally disgusted, begrudgingly fixed it, and then went back to his cell phone. I would NEVER have this person do my nails again. If this person is representative of the salon, my vote it 0. read more
