On September 15th, my husband, my friend and I visited Nails World for three pedicures. The new owner, Genda, welcomed us and told us of their new seasonal pedicure called Pumpkin Spice. This is a pedicure that provides the utmost pampering and relaxation. There is also a Pumpkin Spice manicure available. I've been a loyal client here for a long time, mainly because of the staff (Julie, Ann and all the girls there). They're friendly, talented, and genuinely make the experience pleasant. If this review were only about the technicians, it would be much higher. Unfortunately, the ongoing issue is scheduling and management. I always call ahead to book an appointment, but when I arrive there's often an excuse as to why I can't be seen on time. I'm frequently asked to wait an extra 20-30 minutes sitting in a chair, even though I had a confirmed appointment. It feels like the salon is consistently overbooked and understaffed. I don't think the staff is at fault they're clearly doing their best--but as a client, it's frustrating when time isn't respected. When you schedule an appointment, you expect to be seen close to that time, especially when you plan your day around it. I'm sharing this in hopes that management takes a closer look at how appointments are handled, because the team here really is great. Better scheduling would make a big difference. read more

I've never had one person only who did my nails, but every time I got them done everyone was very polite and kind. And did a very nice job. It's right next to this Boba place, so I always go in there and grab a drink before I go and get my nails done. You know.. girl time and all. I use to come here every two weeks about two years ago. I stopped going since having my toddler and returned yesterday. The lady rushed my manicure and when my nails were drying my long hair accidentally struck my nail and had to be redone. She seemed so upset. Was making rude faces and talking under her breath annoyed. It was an innocent mistake. I literally felt so uncomfortable. First time getting my nails done in a long time and left stressed. Also my nails looked terrible (the color was darker in some nails than others and had lots of mistakes, not fully colored) she seemed so annoyed that I didn't feel comfortable pointing out the mistakes so that she could fix them. I've been to this salon several times to see Jenny. I asked to see her this past weekend but was denied. Instead, I got Cindi. Cindi soaked my gel nails in acetone with foil wrap, and then used the nail grinding tool, resulting in almost all of my natural nail being shaved away to a crispy layer. I pulled my hands away several times due to the pain. I was then charged for "gel removal" with extremely uneven, hurting nails. Very disappointed. It's five days later now and my nails and finger pads still hurt. Sadly, I will not return here. read more

Then they asked me if I wanted a flower ok I'll pay for the design not a problem but damn I never in my life paid more than 80 for a pedicure with French. That's crazy. Bad experience all around. I called to let them know the first attempt at my dip manicure was uneven and bumpy (3hrs, including pedi!). I wanted to give them a 2nd chance. They said to come back in that day and they would fix it, which I appreciated. The technician cut me several times with the drill, and laughed at me for having an ouch reaction. I did not expect to be charged again for "making it right", but they asked me to pay half. The second attempt at the dip manicure was about a 3/10. Not the place for me. A group of 6 of us visited this salon today while on vacation. We called ahead and made an appointment. When we arrived, they sat us down for our pedicures & manicures. Within 15 minutes, they were finished. There was no cuticle care done on my toes and the massage that was included in the price also did not happen. They completely rushed through our entire pedicure experience and escorted us out of the chairs. I was left with uneven polish. My gel manicure was incredibly painful as the technician kept filing my fingertips instead of my finger nails. My gel manicure is also 8 layers deep and my nails themselves were left unfiled even after letting my technician know that she was cutting/burning my fingers and not getting my nails. 3/6 of our group's toenails were messed up within an hour of leaving the salon. 3/6 of us paid for a massage and didn't get one. The nail tech (she wears glasses and has blonde hair) this last time was SO bothered when I showed her a reference photo of what I wanted which included a design I wasn't happy about the final product. She made a polk a dot design and I explained to her that's not what I wanted and she was getting to upset. I went back 2 days later because 2 of my nails chipped and 1 nail broke. I got them "fixed" by the owner which wasn't much because IMO they both looked so ugly. They do their job so fast and get mad when you don't like something and speak up. DO NOT GO! I've gave them so many chances this was my last straw. Every time you make an appointment there's always an excuse why the person you booked with can't take care of you. Today was there last chance I always book with the same people and ofcourse they did my pedi really fast and didn't tell me that my hands where not Going to be done today because rude Tammy doesn't know what customer service is! She's always in a bad mood with a horrible attitude and always messes up the appointments I called her two times to confirm and ofcourse when I show up I only got my pedicure done.
