One of the nail technicians was extremely rude throughout my appointment. She never asked how long I wanted my nails. When she finished shaping them, I realized they were longer than I wanted, so I politely asked if she could cut them a little shorter. Instead of simply adjusting them, she responded, "Why are you asking me this now?" in a rude tone and threw her tools into her cart because she was upset. Later, I asked if she could paint one nail with a color I was deciding between so I could compare it. After seeing it, I politely asked if we could use a different color instead. She became visibly irritated and said, "This is what you asked for," then continued painting with the color I had just said I didn't want, even after I repeated that I wanted to change it. The entire experience made me feel uncomfortable, and I won't be returning. read more

During my appointment with Chao, I mentioned my gel nails tend to chip easily and was recommended an upgraded "harder layer." I agreed, not realizing it was an additional $20 until after the service. About a week later, the same nail began to chip, so I returned for a repair. The visit felt uncomfortable and somewhat disconnected, with very little direct communication, which made the experience feel dismissive. During the original service, a handheld gel curing light was used directly over my nails and the heat became very uncomfortable. Silly me I guess I'm a glutton for punishment. They had a 10% off so I came for a 12:00 appointment and finally left after waiting for 30 minutes. This is after they rescheduled my 10:00 this morning because I was running 10 minutes late and they had already taken walk in's ( no problem ) but, when rescheduling another 2 hours later you'd figure they would be ready and not take additional walk ins when they know they have an appointment. I'm a returning customer to T Nails because I had a great first experience -- I received a gel builder fill and a deluxe pedicure and left feeling relaxed and happy. I even planning my next appointment right away. Unfortunately, today has been a completely different experience, and I'm writing this review while still sitting in the pedicure chair -- because instead of enjoying my service, I'm feeling uncomfortable and frustrated. I asked for the same services as before: a gel builder fill and a deluxe pedicure. I was looking forward to another relaxing visit. However, shortly after my pedicure began, another technician came over and started working on my nails at the same time. I asked politely not to have to reach awkwardly across my body, and they adjusted -- which I appreciated. But then, while my feet were still being worked on, the technician began prepping for an acrylic fill instead of the gel builder I had specifically requested. On top of that, she walked away mid-process to consult with the lead technician, leaving me trying to communicate while still getting a pedicure. When I asked to finish my manicure after the pedicure so I could actually enjoy my service, a customer nearby turned to me and yelled, saying I was complaining too much and ruining her experience -- which made things even more uncomfortable. I understand that salons get busy and try to be efficient, but I really wish someone had asked my preference before deciding to double-book the services. This visit feels rushed, overwhelming, and ultimately disappointing. Would I recommend T Nails? Only if you clearly state that you'd like your services done one at a time -- not simultaneously -- and that your experience matters just as much as their schedule. i am from sacramento-- completely out of town! i searched up gel x online and found this salon. based on reviews, i saw that the nail tech chou did great nails with designs. i am not disappointed at all!! the salon was clean, and the music was very relaxing and serene. at the beginning of the service, i showed her a reference photo and she immediately went to find different colors to match my photo as quickly as possible. she did not stop looking until both of us were satisfied! she was very meticulous throughout the service, and she worked efficiently. she checked in with me throughout every step to make sure i liked what was going on, and i walked out extremely happy! 100% recommend this salon, and 1000% recommend chou! i wish i could take her back with me to sacramento haha read more

Came out to Indio for a wedding and needed a last minute manicure. I had looked up the reviews around the area and this salon did not disappoint. I came in Saturday morning on Valentine's Day and they took me right away. Chouu did an amazing job on my nails. Her work was some of the best I've ever had done but she was also so knowledgeable, professional and kind. I went in looking for gel x and she suggested gel builder which I've never heard of but am so glad she recommended it. You could tell she knew her stuff and takes pride in her work. I highly recommend going to this salon and seeing Chouu. The salon as a whole was clean, relaxing and well managed. I went in for a dip manicure and pedi with gel polish. The staff was friendly enough when I arrived and got me right in for my appointment time. The massage with the pedicure was mediocre, to say the least. The lady doing the pedicure seemed rushed and distracted, but polite. She did a good job on the polish, but overall the pedicure was not worth the $65. I was moved to a seat for my manicure where the lady, once again, seemed rushed. As soon as she had filed the top layer of the dip off and asked me to soak my nails, she got up, moved to another station and began working on another customer. No explanation, just got up and moved. About 5 minutes later, another woman came up and told me to move to yet another station to complete the manicure. As a customer who was there to spend money and will tip nicely when it is earned, this felt very disrespectful. The lady who finished my manicure, while very friendly, also appeared rushed and did a subpar job. I went home and finished filing the jagged edges left behind. After paying over $130 for my nails to be done by a professional, I should not have to go home to finish the job. A subpar tip was left to go along with the subpar service. My mom and I got our nails done here around 6pm. They were very good but it took a long time even tho they did toes and nails at the same time. The dip lasted almost 5 weeks which was great! They also have matching colors for dip and regular polish. read more

Great all around! My daughter (11) and I were walk-ins shortly after 5:30 pm on Saturday. The staff was friendly, attentive, professional, and just amazing! We both had gotten a pedicure, my daughter had also gotten a kid manicure with clear polish, and I had a gel manicure. The pedicure was amazing! There are so many great items between various lotions, a legit hot towel wrap, and the massage. OMG! I was so relaxed. The polish was on point, and one of the ladies did the cutest design on my daughter's toe nails. She was giddy. We were only in the town for the day, but when we come back, this will absolutely be a stop for us again. Thank you for taking such great care of us.
