Greeted by staff and seated for my pedi, picked out colors, and 2 staff did both services simultaneously and seamlessly! Beware of unsanitized tools. This was the most expensive pedi ever and it looks like my granddaughter did it. I don't think the older lady that they had do my pedicure is licensed: She barely applied any pressure when she filed my nails and certainly did not shape them. She didn't know how to use the cuticle trimmer, and the way the polish was applied looked like a child had done it; she kept bumping the nails she finished with her fingers, scuffing them! I asked her to re-do one foot and she didn't understand English, so another employee had to translate. She just applied more polish to one toe and wasn't going to reapply top coat. That toenail looks bumpy and has air bubbles. She wasn't going to clean the polish off my skin until I asked her to as she was walking away. And it took her 75 minutes to do a simple pedi. She didn't sanitize the utensils and re-wrapped them in a package for sanitary tools. I questioned her about it; the coworker asked her and she lied! Finally, I wanted to turn on the massage chair and it wasn't plugged in. When paying prices like this I expect the chair to work. Other customers all seemed to have appointments and they looked to have great experiences with pleasant and professional manicurists. read more

Amazing. Got a basic pedi and it was really luxurious. Yes a basic pedi. Wonderful. I got a manicure too cause my nail polish was coming off. I only wanted a clean manicure but Sam polished me up.. with clear polish. That's just fine. Kandy did my pedicure. He was so great. I'm giving them a three solely based on the massage and friendliness. I was in heaven with the thorough foot massage they give me. I had the chill at first, then they put me to sleep. I had a thing Asian man with glasses. My pedicure itself wasn't great. I didn't fee that he cut my cuticles enough. Normally salons really clean thoroughly, but I get he was very soft. Sitting in my pedicure spa chair now with nice very warm water. I ordered the callous pedicure. Very clean and nice relaxing atmosphere. Just overheard someone say its under new ownership by a man and a woman. I'm hoping for the best and I'll start with 5 stars. Tendy is my pedicurist. He is very gentle and very nice. Little English. Nice leg massage. Very careful with the polish and cleaning up. As Tendy was putting on polish I did realize that the lady next to me was having a callous pedi and it looked different than mine. I asked Tendy and I learned from him he gave me the regular pedicure rather than callous. Too late to change. I realized that maybe I didnt need that so I was not upset but I'll have to make sure I'm only charged regular pedi which is $20. What a great price. I'm really happy with the results. Service here is great. The place is clean and the staff is very friendly. I tried It out because of its yelp rating and I am glad I did. This is my new nail salon in the Coachella Valley. The only suggestion newer and a bigger range of polishes would be nice. OPI is always coming out with exciting colors but none of the salons I've frequented carry them. The guy who did my daughter's nails added some nail art that is beautiful I'll post pics. I went for a basic lavender because like I said selection could use some help. Where do I begin... To his credit Paul did a very nice job on acrylics. I came here based on the reviews and it did not deliver. It was dead on a Friday afternoon which is a tell tale sign. I needed a pedicure and a fill. They were going to do my nails first then my toes. Um hello, who the hell has time for that. I haven't been to a nail place in 5 years that does those services separately. I say I don't have time for that I will skip the pedicure. He says wait it will only be over an hour for both. Really???? I am paying $26 for a spa pedicure and a $16 fill and it will only take over a hour for both doing them separately???? Sounds like it would be a 15 min pedi, which is unacceptable. Furthermore they have 3 people sitting around doing nothing and they cant do my services at the same time? I was so irritated. The final crescendo to my experience was the SAND FLEAS. Yes FLEAS. I brushed some bugs off my legs during my fill thinking they were flys or something. I go to sit under the dryer and realize there are sand fleas all over me. Holy crap, literally bouncing all over me, WTF!!!!! I ran out of there and as I was driving away had to still swat the sand fleas off of me. I was HORRIFIED! read more

The manager of this salon just wrote a giant lie about my review saying I wasn't there and that they were busy. Unless there are 2 passion nails businesses that are located at this very address then I am not mistaken about where I was. I also have to mention that they do not so their mani/ pedi's at the same time causing you to have to spend double the time spent at this horrible place. ALSO, when removing Gel's they do not put the usual small Cotten soaked in nail polish remover on the nail and the wrap the nail in aluminum foil like EVERY other nail salon in several cities and states... The put you and in a big bowl of nail polish remover (how long that bowl has been around and used on other people... God only knows) and after getting your fingers rubbed raw by the file, this dunk in this bowl feel like an acid bath and is extremely painful. Good luck with continuing to lie about your business. The fact that my review is almost identical to another review recently, I would guess this is not my mistake and in fact your, Kenny, lack of skill in management of this business. Went to this salon because they offered soak off lacquer and knew how to apply it and remove it correctly. Now I'm a regular. It's my quiet little oasis. The drive is sort of a pain, but they are worth it. Everything is new and fresh. Service isn't chatty, which I appreciate, though they do make an effort to be social if that's what you want. Prices are better than the other local salons, which I assume will change once they increase their business. Frankly, this is the sort of place where it would be worth paying more. But for the moment, it's a place where you can go in and get a great mani-pedi without a wait and/or appointment. They bring you a bottle of water, use hot towels and give great hand/arm/leg massages (usually I'm not a fan, but their's are great) and things are done with a lovely style. It would be heaven on earth if they had wifi and did a little better installation of the flat screen, but these are hardly issues! Nice... just one thing, don't tell anyone! read more

I'm from out of town and was looking for a clean, respectable nail salon for a basic mani and pedi. I'm a nurse and am really picky about cleanliness when it comes to salons. Cleanliness: All of their equipment is in sterilization bags, they scrub down all their pedicure stations, towels, chairs, stations were clean. Service: I called ahead for an appt just in case but was taken in as a walk in because they were ready early. The woman was very polite and attentive and the rest of the staff were jovial and entertaining. Cost: Shellac manicure and pedicure, I was comfortable with the price. Color choices: Lots of shellac color choices - I'd say 4/5 on the color choices. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a mani/pedi fix and you're not sure where to go because you're out of town ;) read more

I thought I found my favorite nail shop, and went in for my 4th maybe 5th fill today. Was sorely disappointed. Usually the guy is great, but today on multiple occasions I out loud I winced in pain when he was using the nail drill on me. I also had a nail break(pinky) and needed it replaced. I clearly use pink acrylic(it's what he's always used) and he for some reason decided to use clear on the fixed nail so it doesn't even match and the shape is totally off compared to the rest of them. Whatever, I was willing to let it go, but he didn't even wait until I was done to make sure my nails were done and clean, he went off to the next client and just told me to wait for the gel light to go off. And to make matters worse I've always paid 35$, this time I'm told 45$. When I asked why she said you have long nails and you needed one fixed. I'm sorry but I've always gotten the same length and so that means 10$ extra for a fixed nail that doesn't even match or look good!? I paid but I definitely won't be coming back and I'm writing this so people don't suffer the same. read more

Words can not describe how utterly disappointed i am with this place. I went in at 11:00 am. There were "2" of us in there. I want a "Gel Fill and Gel Pedicure and eyebrow waxing" LeeAnn waxed my eye brows, Lee Lee Did my Pedicure and "Jose" did my fill... OR NOT!! i have been getting my nails done across the country for 25 years. i have NEVER had a worse experience than here. I'm never too happy to have a male working on my nails anyway, but when I told this one i wanted my rounded nails he flattened and tried to square off my nails. I said, NO! I wear my nails more oval! He acted like he understood and STILL continued to "square my nails". NO!!! I stated once more. Please quit focusing on square nails. Finally i grabbed the file from him and showed him. After more than an hour he finally "SORTA" got them atleast semi oval!!? OK, but it gets so much better. Apparently the gel color was old or something because if it was put in the heat lamp it was literally melting on my nails. REDO! Had to take off all gel and start over. Seriously!!! Now the talking between them begins and you LOVE when You can not understand what they are saying, but you know it's NOT good. Another "MALE" came over to do my nails...My tumb on my right hand is so screwed up that i told them I was NOT sitting another hour because at this time i'm 2 1/2 hours. Put some sort of Decoration on my thumb to cover up your mess up!! Pink and black thumb nail and toenail is ok. I go to pay... I am asked by a knowing LeeAnn that i am NOT happy in the least. Instead of trying to makeup for this in the least she takes $5 off for my thumb paint!!!??? Seriously!!?? I will never come back here. Oh please come back i will take care of you!!! After reading all the wonderful reviews about this place, I thought I'd give it a shot since my usual place was closed and I hadn't had a chance to go yesterday. I wish I would've waited. Let me start out with what was good: *Massage Chairs were working and felt nice *The place looked clean and well maintained *The lady who gave me my pedicure was very nice and gave a decent massage, better on the feet than the legs *The prices were decent As for the rest of my experience.... Upon walking in, I was semi-greeted by a guy who looked like he was slightly bothered that I had walked in. I told him I was here for a pedicure and he told me to pick a color and then nothing else. I waited at the counter for another couple of minutes while I watched a boy, about 11 years old, fill my water and add the bath salts. The man who first greeted me motioned for me to sit there and asked if the water temperature was ok. It wasn't, so I asked for it to be hotter. Unfortunately, the water had almost filled the tub by then, so there was only a little more hot water added, which barely increased the temperature. After a bit of back and forth trying to explain what service I would like, it was decided that I would get the Callous pedicure with a Hot Oil add on. The woman started working on my feet and when she got to the part where she would remove the callouses, she used a pumice stone, plus some callous eliminator lotion. I asked if they had the 'cheese grater' type tool (If you've ever gotten it done this way, you know what tool I speak of). This woman didn't know what I was talking about, but grabbed another tool that was even less effective than the pumice stone. I felt bad for her because she was definitely trying, but she really didn't end up doing any better on my feet than I do in the shower. Onto the Hot Oil... The lady brought out two bags, one for each foot, that I expected would contain hot oil. This was not the case. At best, this was a bit above room temperature lotion. She put my feet in the bag and then proceeded to wrap my feet in a dry towel (I was expecting at least a hot towel). She then began to rub my legs, which felt good, but she also ended up fighting the towels because they were dry and fell off of my feet easily. Once she was done rubbing my legs, she went to work on my feet, which did make me relaxed, but it was hard to concentrate on being totally relaxed because I was already disappointed in the visit. After the massage, she wiped off all the lotion with a hot towel (which I thought was ironic) and went to work painting my nails. This part would've been really hard to mess up and thankfully, she didn't. I paid my bill, once again having to deal with the yet-to-smile, yet-to-be-pleasant man, who's name I believe was Jimmy, and left. Needless to say, I won't be back. In the future, I'll be going back to the nail salon that I gave a glowing review to (please see previous reviews to see what I'm talking about) because I'd rather pay a little more for an amazing pedicure. read more

2 hours for a pedicure and shellac manicure? I relied on Yelp reviews when I made a decision to go here and maybe I had bad luck or maybe the people who go here have no idea what a good mani/pedi is. My girlfriend and I came in together. They had two people working on her, one working on me, which was fine... except my lady was the slowest person so while my girlfriend was going double as fast, I was going a fourth of that. To give you an idea, her pedicure was completely finished and she was on her second hand (drying Shellac) and my toes had not yet been painted, my hands not even touched. What's the point of rushing one when we're leaving together? Makes no sense. When my girlfriend asked why someone else couldn't do me, no one had a response. Mind you, they had one lady sitting in a chair on her iPhone and another in the back doing whatever because she wasn't with a client. Then I asked, does everyone in this salon know how to do Shellac? And the guy goes, yeah everyone here is certified and I just looked at the other two ladies like.... okay we'll wait for you guys to sit on your ass while I wait two hours. The lady working on me did an OK job on my toes. And i say OK because they looked ok at the time, but the pedicure is coming off already (one day later). Then we get to the Shellac manicure and it was awful. I showed the guy who seems to be the general manager there if he thought my nails looked at all professional, and he agreed they didn't. With no exaggeration whatsoever, it looked like my 6 year old cousin painted them. The lady kept saying it was the light pink color that made it look bad, THAT, was the reason.... not because she had a lack of experience on how to do Shellac manicures. Lol. They took off the whole manicure and redid it, this time the guy (general manager) working on my manicure, and he made it look better.... same color might I add. This isn't a super cheap place you get a mani and pedi for 30 dollars. Service was horrible, work on the nails: bad. Like I said, maybe I had bad luck but this nail salon is top 2 worst nail salons I have been to in my life. Side Note: I read Dandi B.'s review below and for the "Business Owner, Tiffany N. of Passion Nails" to say she checked the camera and Dandi B. wasn't there? Come on Tiffany.. maybe that's why your business is so bad, because you're teaching your employees to be like you and blame things like the camera or the color of your nail polish. Take responsibility and correct the employees/the issue. Why would anyone randomly select your business and choose to poorly review it just because? I think we all have lives on here. I've gone to 4 different nail salons in the desert and I have to say that this place is by far the best. The place is clean, contemporary, and looks new. Wooden floors, nice colors, etc. Their chairs are massage chairs and look brand new. Music was relaxing. The girl that did my pedicure is named Mary and she was extremely nice. They all spoke in English and made everyone feel comfortable. I got the Sea Spa Pedicure and it was the best $32 I've ever spent. She did a sea salt rub, this green mud mask thing after, a hot foot in bag thing, and a massage with lotion. All of that was a good hour and a half of pampering for $32. Spent a lot of time on my callouses and even asked me if it was fine or if I wanted it done more (unlike other places where they just stop and move on). My pedicure was such a good experience I went ahead and did my hands too. I would definitely recommend this place and request Mary again. I just moved to the desert about a month ago and told her how dry my skin gets...and after she was done with me, I don't think I will need to use lotion for a good 2 weeks!! read more
