I have been a client for close to 3 Years. I had services from Cat in La Quinta and then followed…read moreher to the Palm Desert location until she was asked to leave after requesting a few weeks off (unpaid) to care for a family member. She gave me two referrals to go back to the La Quinta center as I live in La Quinta. I had three visits with Emily. On the second visit I included eyebrow waxing. I found when I washed my face and removed the exaggerated eyebrow pencil later that day, I saw that I was left with a big hole at the tail end of my left eyebrow. On my third visit (a month later) I showed Emily the result of her wax damage and she said "let's watch it until your next visit". I left the appointment after scheduling my next appointment at the reception desk for later in June 2026. I happened to receive my credit card statement and noticed that I was charged $64 from my third visit. As I said, I have been a client for 3 years. During that time, I purchased contracts for Brazilian wax (which I modify at my own request), Upper thigh, and eyebrows. I have received the same services as described above under the prepaid agreement. I have consistently modified the upper thigh to include the back of my thigh only as that is really all that I require. When I contacted the Center and asked what the charge was for, I was told that my contract is only for the "inner thigh" and therefore, I was charged the $64 for waxing the back of my upper thigh. Never, ever, was any added charges made on my credit card after any of my previous visits. Plus and most concerning, the charge was put on my Mastercard the Center has on file WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE OR CONSENT. I made my followup appointment after my service and I left. There was ample time to speak to me about the impending secret charge while I was making another appointment. My following conversations (after the discovery of the charge on my Mastercard) with their management representative, I asked for a full refund of monies I have on account. I did not want to get services from this company any longer. I was told I needed to either forfeit the credit or take a gift card to be used at the Center. In my opinion, if in fact it was decided that the prior services I received were different from the services described that I paid for, I should have been notified during my visit or called thereafter. It should NEVER have been that I was secretly charged an additional fee. Needless to say, I can not afford to walk away from over $413 (after cancellation fee has been taken from the actual amount on hand). So, I am thinking about different ways to complete my contract with European Wax Center and NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN. Leslie R.

I was…read moreso intimidated by the idea of going to someone who specializes in waxing since I have spent so many years going to nail salons for the service since it's cheap and something easy you can walk-in and do. I was worried that whoever I went to next would judge me (and my brows), but that was not that case at all! When I arrived to the Benefit section of Macy's I was greeted by the sweetest sales person at the counter who let me know Flor would be right back. (I was a few minutes early because I was nervous!) Flor arrived within seconds and was so kind and welcoming. I knew right away that I made the right decision to book an appointment with her! She introduced herself and asked me a little bit about my previous experience with Benefit, previous experience with waxing/threading, and then asked about my skin. I think it's incredibly thorough of her to start an appointment with an understanding of her client's skin. That's something that I had never experience before! Then, Flor started mapping out where the start, end, and peak of the brow should be based on my face structure and nose. This part was so much fun for me because it was a learning experience for me as well as a way for her to let me know what my brows can look like if I continue visiting Benefit's Brow Bar. We discussed the goals I have for my brows (symmetry, symmetry, symmetry!!) and she let me know her exact plan of action before even mixing the wax. 5 STARS RIGHT HERE ALONE! Flor proceeded to start the waxing process and it went over very well. She managed to do the waxing, AND walk me through any changes in posture or head movement to help get the right angles, AND ALSO ask me questions about who I am and what I do. It was incredible! It made me feel welcomed in the space, made me feel confident about what my brows would look like, and helped build that sense of community that is often lacking at other brow establishments. I am incredibly happy with how my brows came out. We have a plan on how to get them where I want them to be over time, but I understand that it's a process since I am hoping to get a bit of hair growth back. And we were able to get my next appointment on the books at a time that works for me. Overall, an incredible experience! I recommended Flor and the Benefit Brow Bar at Macy's for anyone looking to FIX THEIR BROW GAME! I'm so excited to see her next month!

It had great reviews, so we decided to check it out! When we arrived, there was about a three-hour wait since it was a busy Saturday. We put our names and number down, then came back around 4 PM. Once we returned, it took a bit to get called back since they had some paperwork and setup to complete. You also text your tattoo artist directly with what you want, which made the process really smooth. Our tattoo artist, Alix, was extremely kind and welcoming. I was able to sit in the room along with another friend to watch the process, which was super cool. Each artist has a private room with a small couch and a few chairs, so it felt comfortable and relaxed. This was actually my first time in a tattoo shop, and it was fascinating to see how everything worked, the tools, the setup, and the overall attention to quality and detail. My friend was so happy with how her tattoo turned out, it looked amazing! The design came out super clean with a beautiful finish. The whole process only took about 30 minutes, and the total was $100, which is also their minimum price for tattoos. So just keep that in mind when planning your visit. The overall vibe of the place was awesome, very laid-back and friendly. The shop is located upstairs, and I'd definitely recommend calling ahead or making an appointment if you can, since they do get busy. They also sell piercing jewelry in addition to doing tattoos, so it's both a shop and a studio. Their jewelry selection looked great, so definitely check that out too if you stop by!

I got there around 3:30, put my name on the waitlist, and by about 6:30 I was in the chair. Honestly, that's pretty fast considering some people had been waiting since noon. From what I could tell, the event was a success. They had 30 slots and filled 29 of them. The artist who tattooed me, Fiona, was actually the one who drew the flash I chose, which made it even better. The session went quickly, but she never rushed -- it was super chill. I was literally starting to fall asleep if it weren't for my phone blowing up with texts. Fiona was EXCELLENT. I'm absolutely coming back to have her do another traditional piece. I really love these flowers. And honestly, I trust Sacred Black Ink completely. I feel like no matter who I book with, I'm going to get consistently great work.

The second time, I just came by to pop in on my sister-in-law while she was getting tattooed. During that visit, I mentioned wanting to get my dog Skye tattooed on me, and from that conversation, I knew right away that Tuchies was the artist I wanted for such a meaningful piece. The portrait of Skye came out absolutely phenomenal. It's so detailed and lifelike, it feels like he's peeking out of a photo. Skye is still very much alive and my whole world, so this tattoo is a celebration of him that I get to carry forever. The shop itself is welcoming, professional, and has such a great vibe.
