I drove all the way from dhs to get my nails done, and I showed Nancy the picture of the shape and color I wanted and she decided to do a sloppy quick look..( her own shape) I asked for my money back and she refused. She's the only one who does acrylic and she's always in a hurry! Instead of doing the job right! SMH. Never again. I got charged 52$ for a full set... that was extremely ugly!!! I had to go to another nail salon right after and he had to cut them off because the nail she used was to wide! I'm so disappointed.. the least she could of done was give me my money back! read more

Got a signature spa pedicure done today by Choi! (Not Joy) lol She was super sweet and was able to get me in right away with no appointment! She was very gentle during the cuticle removal which is my LEAST favorite! Since I got the signature pedicure I received a 15 min massage with some hot stone treatment included!! Seriously AMAZING!! I'm the kind of girl that likes pedicures and rarely does a manicure. I use my hands too much that manicures last me a total of 3 days before the nailpolish starts chipping, if not less. Since I was going to attend a wedding and my boyfriend was the best man, I figured I should probably do something about my nails. It's not like they are awful, but SOMETHING should be done with them for a special occasion! While driving around running errands the boy and I spotted this place. I walked in and despite being pretty busy, they were able to help me out right away. The woman that did my nails, Tracy, was very nice. I decided to step it up a notch and get a french manicure with tips. I had NO IDEA it was called a 'full set' until she informed me of the official name. Yes, I lack that much femininity. I guess really it's a gel white and pink full set. My nails were done pretty quickly but were top-notch, I got a lot of compliments on them. 4 days later and they still look as nice as the day they were worked on. The shop itself was clean and comfortable. I paid a total of 30 dollars for my nails. Considering I never get full sets, I looked up prices at other places and I guess it's a pretty good deal! I'll definitely go back if I'm in town and am in need of pretty nails. read more

Nice place and nice ladies who work here. They close at 7pm and when I came tearing in at 6:45pm after rushing to get there after work, they said it was no problem to do a manicure. Even though they were supposed to close in just a few minutes, my nail tech took her time and did a pretty meticulous job. They also didn't rush me out when they were done with my nails. They let me sit there and dry them until they were fully dry...they even checked. read more

Both terrible jobs. Uneven shape ( it suppose to be point shape, sloppy paint messy , one of my nails chipped within one day . looks very unprofessionally done . She totally rushed up . I've used to go here often and their pedicures are good, but I do NOT like their acrylic sets. The last manicure I had was so bad I went to get them done elsewhere about an hour afterwards. I couldn't even stand to look at them. I got almond acrylics; mind you, my nails already had almond acrylics from the last place I went to. I did not need a fill. I only wanted to change the color. The technician filed off the gel color but there was clearly so left over that would show up under the lighter color I'd chosen. I asked her multiple times to them up, but she clear didn't care. She then added more acrylic powder than necessary and when she filed the nails, they didn't even look like the almond that it ALREADY WAS. By the end of the appointment, I had pink with flecks of red misshaped nails that I hated. My mother has also been having trouble lately. The manicures are not top quality and they're definitely not worth the price. I won't be going back there any time soon. read more

Went in and got my eyebrows waxed and the outcome was not what I expected been going here and only here for a year and this last time was a nightmare I have scaring on both eyebrows from the burns of the wax went in to let them know and all they offered me was my next wax free. Went in for full set and pedicure. Pedicure was ok, no complaint (was a little pricey though). My full set on the other hand ... Well I asked for pink and white nails (powder/gel), and the guy gave me a confused look. He didn't even use pink and white powders!! As it was getting close to closing time (he was a little on the slow side) he started trying to speed up and did a crap job on my nails. I have some that are not filed even, and just about all of my nails have "air pockets" where you can see the acrylic lifting from my nail. Terrible job, will not return. read more

They were great for accommodating my walk-in manicure and pedicure requests but the pedicure left much to be desired. The process was great but the paint job was nothing better than I could have done myself. It's already smudged. The gel manicure was pretty good though; one small bubble near the cuticle that I can smooth out and some gel on my skin that I can wash/pick off. I didn't like the upselling attempts though; add-on hot stones? Any waxing? Fake nails instead? And it was eerily quiet with no conversations going on between anyone. read more

The only reason this gets 2 stars & not 1 star is that The young man who did my pedicure was very nice-and did a GREAT leg/foot massage! The rest of the pedicure was "eh" . Biggest complaint: The place is dirty. The woman in charge was snappy and rude. And the other techs sat around giving themselves pedicures. Just felt overall icky in there. read more

Visiting from Los Angeles and came here today. Fancy Nails is totally overpriced and they do sloppy work. I wouldn't mind paying the high price, but at least do quality work! My 8 year old got a mani/pedi and nail polish was left all over her fingers and cuticles. So because she's 8, it doesn't matter how her nails look?! They did a great job on my full set gel nails....the best I've experienced. When I get a full set regardless how much I pay $20-$100 the same thing happens that they start to lift within a week or fall off. It's been 2 going on 3 weeks and no signs of lifting or chipping. They take their time and I did not feel like I was being rushed even when I was a walk-in and they were really busy. I didn't get harassed for an up sale. I told the girl what I wanted and she did it. Great communication between customers. I can't wait to go back in. read more

They were very friendly but were unclear about prices. First said $18 for regular polish manicure when I asked price for French tip polish which is $22. Then I asked them to add $5 for tip and they added $6 instead. $32 for a gel polish manicure was what I originally wanted but that's so much. When I've gotten it for $20 in 29 Palms. I walked out the door with an average French tip polish manicure for $28 with the incorrect tip amount. Will not be going back, sadly. Friendly staff though and clean place. read more
