The mail technician that worked on my nails and my toes really seemed to care about each nail & the shape & the polish & made sure that I was aware each time I needed to stick my hands inside the machine to seal the nails without bumping them on the machine & when doing my feet he made sure not to scrub too hard so it wouldn't hurt. I am so upset at how my nails came out that I'm going to have to try to fix them myself at home and if that doesn't help I'm going to have to go to a different salon to have them redone, because I won't come back here. Never trust a nail salon that grabs random nail clippers/ tools out of a box. They should come out of a sealed sanitized bag. I've gotten many toe nail fungus infections from going to places like this. The ladies tools who did my pedicure were so dirty, and the pumice sponge she used on me needed to be replaced like last year.. she didn't even put a filter in the foot spa. There needs to be more safety regulation on places like this. It's truly disgusting that some places don't care about sanitization. read more

This salon is definitely one of the better ones to go to in La Quinta. The staff is always very friendly and polite. They always answer the phone and end the conversation with a thank you. It's a pretty clean establishment. My technician is under the television in the back and I find that the reception is terrible and if they have a good show on, it really cuts in and out, making it difficult to watch. Not a big deal, but it's an added amenity, but one that doesn't work, so whats it really good for? Pricing is moderate but a little bit more expensive than other places. And there is a $1.00 charge if you use your credit card. I always get my nails done by Paul. He does a great job on my 'gel builder' and almond shaped nails. read more

Not Happy with my brow wax I had 7/26/2019 last Friday morning 3 hours before I left for my summer vacation of 7 weeks. I have Microblading on brows that is to enhance what sparse hair I do have. Well not anymore. She waxed off both sides from the middle to end. I have very little hair that grows and this is why I had the microblading. Why does everybody have to wack off and get wax happy with brows. I could feel a lot of hair being pulled out then she's plucking away also. I said ummm!! Leave me some hair on my brows. She says you have plenty of hair. Well I was unable to see how horrible of a job she did without my reading glasses. But when I got home I was furious!!! Now I have to go and spend more money to hopefully find something to help that hair grow back!!' I'll be saving my receipt for you to reimburse what I had to purchase for hair growth. After trying salon after salon, I think I've found one that isn't crazy expensive and does a great job. I came in for a pedicure and was seated immediately after I picked out my polish. I waited in the chair, feet soaking, for about 5 minutes before she got started. She gave me a water to drink while I enjoyed my pedi. She wasn't very talkative but she was kind and went easy on the scrubbing because I'm ticklish. My toes came out great and I would definitely recommend happiness nails! read more

Worse experience ever! My mom, sister and I have been going here for sometime and never had a problem. My mom doesn't speak perfect English but gets by. I absolutely love Happiness Nails. I've been seeing Sophia for my eyebrows since I was 13 years old and I'm 26 now but she does a wonderful job every time. Pedicure not so great either... nails cut uneven not filed smooth did not clean undernail bed, cuticles were not cared for properly. I absolutely brought each concern up kindly with please and thank you it was followed by a dicussion and/or rant in diff language each time. I was kind afterall...i decided just let service finish... upon payment i was asked for a tip and to leave it in cash. When i stated i wont leave tip, i was then told okay we will put it on card....WoW... nope! Terrible experience. Sophia is one talented and adorable lady that can do it all, Manicures, pedicures, waxing and did I mention she gives one "Heavenly Facial" she uses the Dermalogica skin care line on all of her facials so remember to ask for "Sophia". Then we have Delaine and Kevin they are the owners and they really set the tone in making everyone feel so welcomed. Took the girls with me for a mom and daughter nail day. Prices posted were reasonable- but when it came time to pay, there was a $35 difference in posted prices vs what we were charged. When I asked the girl why it was so much- she told me my youngest daughter had 2 cracked nails she had to replace and she soaked my oldest daughters current acrylic nails to remove them and replace with a new set. First off- my daughter didn't have cracked nails when we arrived so if they cracked when she was doing a fill- I shouldn't be charged for that. If you can't do your job without error, maybe you need to find a new one? Second- we never asked for the old set to be soaked off. The prices posted say $5 for "take off nails w/ service". I feel if you are going to charge more than a normal price, you should discuss it with the mother or adult who is paying??? $35 difference is a big difference and when I ask questions about the price- I don't expect a attitude or rude response. As a paying customer, employees should have common curtsey and explain or answer questions without being defensive. I won't ever come back here and I will be sure to tell everyone I know and do business with not come here either. read more
