Shady, liar working the front desk! I had a 345 appointment and I accidentally went to the wrong utopia. I called and my friend was also going to meet me there and she was there already on time. I said I would be 10 minutes late and they said that was OK I could still come so I got there at 3:52 so not even a full 10 minutes late and I am waiting at the front desk and nobody would help me. I asked one lady who was just staring her her computer if she could check me in and she said no, you have to wait for the check-in girl. She'll be back later so I waited and waited and then finally somebody came up at 3:58 and I told her I was there to check in and she said oh I had to cancel your appointment because it was more than 10 minutes and I said well I've been standing here for six minutes and nobody would help me. She said too bad you have to leave now. All the while my friend who was actually getting her pedicure already said that there was an open spot next to her that they were saving for me low and behold a few minutes later they took another person whose appointment was at 3:30 because she was late because she went to the wrong location, but they took her and made me leave. Absolutely terrible customer service unbelievably disappointed. Do Not even try coming here especially if you accidentally go to the wrong place or God forbid show up 7 minutes late. Again I understand it was my fault I was late but I called. They told me to come. They confirmed that it was OK and then they took somebody that was actually 30 minutes late instead of me. read more

The managers were incredibly rude and truly the worst customer service I've ever experienced. We were 4 minutes late and they said we were 10 minutes late and they would cancel our services. I was trying to find a reasonable compromise and even willing to forgo part of our service since we were a few minutes late but they were unwilling to accommodate at all. Very pretentious. I will definitely never visit this salon again and would not recommend this to anyone. read more

The only good thing about this place is the aesthetics. It is way over priced and I have been getting dip over a year now at another salons and never had any chips and my dip chipped on two nails 3 days after the appointment. My nails were all filed to different shapes. And there is a random spot of some other color on my nail that the tech ignored. I went back to get my cracked nails fixed and the girl just put dip on top of it rather than taking it all of and redoing it like other salons do. So now I have chunky gross looking layer on my "fixed nail". Maybe people have better experiences with other techs or with gel rather than dip here but I personally will never come here again. $53 +$12 tip wasted read more

Not sure what's happening with this place but I've been going for years and recommended so many friends and family, but the quality of their services have ridiculously gone down. The language barrier between the techs has become very difficult to navigate since they have barely been able to understand my English requests that are RELATED to the service I am receiving. The most recent time was the WORSE pedicure experience. To start they charge for "soak offs" but NEVER soak off. They use the drill to file the gel polish off. A literal "rip off". The tech I had constantly nicked the skin around my toenails with the drill to the point that it burned the skin. No cuticle softener/milk was used so my cuticles were cut up and bleeding. Instead of apologizing and mending my wounds the tech laughed embarrassingly to the tech next to him. Proceeded to spray alcohol on my open and actively bleeding cuts when I pulled my feet away and said NO he stops and instead rubs acetone over them. He then proceeded to apply polish over the cuts and cured them in the UV lamp. Do not wish that pain on my worse enemy. The pedicure was torture and no matter what I said or the gestures I made to try to change or stop the experience, remedied anything. I left crying from the pain and refused to pay. I explained my situation to the manager and provided proof that the tech I receive was not who I booked with and she stated "you need to put who you want in the comments because I can't see any information from the reservation you make online" I was baffled by this response. What good is it selecting the techs name from the websites filters and going through the prompts for you not to have access to accommodating the options YOU HAVE set on your site. I am DONE with Utopia, they have been reported to the Department of Health and I will no longer be recommending them to anyone. read more
