These ski boots were not new, so having a part that would work was a miracle in itself. The night before I called 8 different shops and Sports Den was 1 of 2 that said they may be able to help me. During the phone call, they asked questions to make sure they knew what I needed. Their line of questioning made it obvious to me that these guys were pros and knew their stuff, so I chose them. During my time in the shop, they were super helpful and even made two repair types to make sure they were making the best repair possible. There was no half-ass'n the fix, they took pride in doing it the best way possible. Plus during my wait I noticed other customer service representatives helping other customers, you could tell they all took pride in their work and were honest and helpful. Everyone explained things to the customer to make sure they made the most informed choice possible. I don't live in Utah and was just a skier in need, normally I wouldn't write a review but this shop impressed me. Solid job, thanks for getting me back on the slops without wasting money on new boots.

I heard about this store and how they provide rentals for a reasonable price. The process is easy: check in at the kiosk to make res; meet with one of the reps in the back (fitting/sizing): and then, pay at the front counter. Staffs are super helpful and nice. Ample parking in the lot. I'd come back to continue renting gears or referring others to come here.

Instead of enjoying the quiet serenity of skiing through powder, the sound of a squeaking old rusty hinge was heard the whole day. The snowboard was set so badly that it caused foot cramping all day. When shown the video with the sound and told how vastly different the experience had been, the employees did not know what could have caused it and were not willing to do anything about it. Extended family are coming out next month and will not be using this rental shop.

They don't have a widest range of products here, but sometimes if you ask, they can find a color for you that's not on display, so I'd definitely ask if you don't see a color you like on display. Service here is excellent. I was helped by Shaun who went above and beyond explaining all the different products he had and the differences in the features that come with more expensive products. I will be back because of his excellent customer service. And the fact that the prices here are actually comparable to other shops in the city. They gave us one pair of skis with the bindings not adjusted properly, customer service wanted us to deal with it instead of helping us. And we have to return them ourselves even with the issues. Would have just rented from park city sport right by the mountain if I knew they were going to be so unhelpful. Also after skiing one hill the other pair of boots we had the buckles were loose and we had to go back and have them fix them. Quite literally the worst experience ever. Also park city sport was $20- 40 a day cheaper for rentals.

They carry a great selection, do a great job stringing up the heads, they know the game and equipment and most importantly understand customer service. We had a shaft break in the middle of my sons season and while the manufacturer warranties the shaft you still have to send it in and that would mean missing a few weeks of games without the shaft. Tribal worked out a solution for us to buy a new shaft (the had one in stock) and will refund us back when the new shaft comes back from warranty! That means my boy breaks his shaft on Tuesday and is back with a new one on Wednesday. If you buy online trying to save a few dollars, how would that scenario play out? I brought my stick in to get strung and was largely ignored. As I waited patiently, the only employees in the store talked about their lives to each other for 15 minutes, and only after I interrupted did I receive service. I left it for a few days, as they told me 1-2 days was the wait time. 3 days later, I show up and they haven't started stringing it! I live almost an hour away, so an hour there and an hour back was terrible. On the bright side, my stick was strung exactly how I liked it, but this is the end of the line. Guess it's time to learn how to string.

I don't usually write Yelp reviews but these guys go above and beyond to make it a great experience. Want to change your gear out no problem. Need to leave your gear on the mountain overnight you can for no charge. Once they even drove me to Deer Valley and wouldn't take a tip. No one else gives service like they do. When I asked why they needed a height and weight for snowshoeing they rudely answered that they need the information for skiing. When I mentioned I wasn't renting skis, they were rude. Next, asked for advice on where to go. The girl got out a map, not knowing how to read it, and said, "just go up the street." We did that; there was no trailhead, parking, or even a path. Went back to the shop and asked if we could park there and snowshoe from there and the answer was (again, rudely) "absolutely not." We asked for advice on where to go and they said to try the high school. Went there and there was no snow to be found. Eventually went back to our condo and discovered some very nice trails, no thanks to the rude people at this shop who acted like they hated their jobs, the customers, and life in general. That having been said, the snowshoes were also sub-par. The home page of their website said rentals were 35 $ but when you went to check out it changed to 39. Not worth it.

The staff members are experienced experts and have always been helpful and friendly. In addition to an extensive inventory of new gear, they offer consignment for used equipment. We recently stopped at IME to purchase a new pair of climbing shoes for my 5-year-old son. As you know, kids grow fast, and my son had outgrown his previous Evolv climbing shoes. Andy greeted us right away and helped me find a great pair of new climbing shoes that my son loves. IME is among the best local gear shops in the Salt Lake. Thank you for being awesome!

We came here specifically because they have the opportunity for you to rent (demo) the equipment before you buy it, and their convenient location at the base of Park City Mountain Resort means you can swap things easily during the day. They can also do boot fittings with custom orthotics. The staff provides excellent service and was very knowledgeable. The owner Jackson himself helped us and he is wonderful. Highly recommended if you want to try before you buy.
