Instead, I left frustrated and frankly disappointed by the level of service I received. The associate at the counter, Karen, was cold and unwelcoming from the moment I walked up. There was no smile, no greeting, and no effort to make the interaction pleasant. But beyond her demeanor, what really got to me was the lack of basic guidance. She never told me where to write the delivery address on my package -- something that takes two seconds to communicate and is a fundamental part of the job. As a result, I had to redo the labeling entirely, wasting both my time and my packaging. What makes it worse is that this kind of mistake is completely avoidable. A simple heads-up -- "make sure to write the address here" -- would have saved the hassle. Instead, I was left to figure it out on my own and then correct it under her watch, which was both inconvenient and embarrassing. Good customer service doesn't require going above and beyond -- it just requires the basics: a courteous attitude and clear communication. Today, I got neither. I'll be looking for an alternative location or courier going forward. Life is too short to spend it dreading a simple post office run. I'd strongly encourage management to revisit customer service training here, because first impressions -- and last impressions -- matter. Not recommended.

    When we first moved to the area, there was a small post office in Aliso Viejo. It had the worst…read morehours possible and horrible customer service. When they closed that location down, we started coming to this location. The Laguna Niguel Post Office is so much better than the old Aliso location. The Laguna Niguel Post Office is located off of Alicia Parkway and Niguel Road. The parking lot is large, but can be crowded at times. Sometimes, people park against the gate due to a lack of parking spaces during busier times. The business itself is average in size. Sometimes the line extends past the P.O. boxes and it moves kind of slow. They typically have 2 people working at the front counter, but if the line is moving too slow, they'll bring out another representative to help speed things up. Customer service here is excellent! If the line slows down, the lady from the passport photo room will take customers into her office and assist them with their packages etc. They run a pretty tight ship here! I have been to several post offices in South OC and this one is my go-to location. They know all of their regular customers and it's refreshing to see that they remember your face when you come in. I've had plenty of great experiences here and I will continue to come to this location to mail packages etc.

I came in trying to locate a package that was dropped off at this location and never received by the carrier it was supposed to be handed off to. I had tracking proof showing the package was never scanned into the next carrier's system. Instead of even attempting to check the back or see if it may have been misplaced internally, I was immediately told that "UPS should have it" and that there was nothing they could do. As a business owner, I understand that mistakes and delays happen. But what was frustrating was the complete lack of effort or accountability. I wasn't expecting miracles; I was simply hoping someone would at least attempt to check or escalate the situation internally. The supervisor and another employee both seemed very nonchalant about the situation, even after I explained the urgency and showed proof that the package was never received by the next carrier. I left feeling completely dismissed rather than helped. I understand policies exist, but customer service still matters. A little effort, empathy, or willingness to investigate would have gone a long way.

    A Mistake I Will NEVER Make Again…read more This morning after dropping off my kids at school, I hopped online to see if there was any JellyCat Authorized Retailers in the area as both my girls expressed wanting a certain one for Valentines Day. Luckily, there was one close and it was currently open. I walked in to Paper Annex, there was one gentleman at the counter, I saw where the JellyCats were located, they didn't have any Valentines Day ones out so I asked, (Who I believe is the owner Scott) "Do you have any of the Valentines Day JellyCats available?" He replied "Oh, yes we have them, we have had for some time but, we are not putting them out yet though" I thought to myself (seems odd to not put them out to SELL THEM) but whatever. So I asked. "When are you putting them out" In comes from the back and older blonde lady, who I am assuming is his wife Colleen & she says, "we are not putting them out til the 15th" I Replied, "Oh Weird, I thought it was the 13th as I had seen at some others shops that are not in the area posting about them" She replied, super snotty and said, "well, we are not putting them out til the 15th, people come in and buy them all up and re sell them" (she acted as if she thought I was trying to do that, based on the fact maybe, I'm a husky dude with tattoos and doesn't look like a Jelly Cat collector) "I Replied I thought online that they were out now" She told me "Well, we are putting them out on the 15th" I said ok Left this store and will NEVER return. I am not reseller I am a single, widowed dad of two girls that was trying to get a jump on getting their valentines day gifts early. I hope she's (Colleen) is ok with her wrong and semi discriminatory assumption of me along with her POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! All good Scott & Collen, I tried to support your small business. Multiple conversations to try to get them to take mail delivery seriously and not make soooo many mistakes... but it just goes in 1 ear and out the other. No care or concern, no apologies just excuses followed by more mistakes. Really disappointing to know some people can be so horrible and treat long standing customers so rudely!

Mike is trying to do his best and helping me out, but if you want people who care who aren't gonna laugh at your face and say they can say whatever they want . If you're looking for good customer service do not go there. Tyler is horrible and all they do is make you go through loops just to talk to somebody who can help you, which is the owner .they saw I was upset. And no one's claiming responsibility for the package and they just said well it's not here. Can't do anything that is until they let me talk to the owner and said that he'll try to figure it out like I said I used to come here all the time, but I will not be back because of Tyler specifically horrible customer service and his manager had to yell at him because he just kept talking and talking and talking saying he can say whatever he wants while I'm sitting here distraught over something that means a lot to me.
