Just consistently lousy service, apathetic and sometimes rude. We've been picking up mail here for a year since the Verdi PO burned, and we and at least three neighbors have had incoming and outgoing letters and packages returned undelivered or simply lost, apparently permanently, on half a dozen occasions. A $200 check I mailed six weeks ago has vanished, and about $2000 worth of checks mailed to me nearly three weeks ago (by people I've done business with for years, so I know they're reliable) has not been delivered. The staff here claims there's nothing they can do, which is probably correct, but they don't even have the decency to look puzzled or try to come up with an explanation. One clerk told me "No one else in Verdi has had problems," which I know is a lie, and tried to convince me that all my missing mail had been misaddressed. Even for the postal service, this is a low point. read more

Very helpful staff! I was shipping a package and needed to add packing peanuts (which they found some and provided at no cost). They were patient and kind. Not at all irritated that I didn't have my box labeled yet. Simply handed me a label... I stepped aside... taped up and labeled my box, got back in line and they helped me quickly and efficiently! read more

Best Post Office in Reno I have found yet. Great customer service, decent lines, and they will even call you back to tell you which design of stamps they have in stock. read more

They are fast and extremely helpful! I had addressed my package incorrectly and so the postman fixed everything and gave me helpful advice for the next time. read more

Beware the dowdy looking woman that appears a cross between a Hummel and a Chia pet: recently, she puttered slowly, dithering away since she's union and impossible to fire, and the line was out the door. After 30 mins, I reached her and indicated that they needed to hire some line staff and that wait time was pretty unacceptable outside of the Christmas season. She replied "Well, yelling at me isn't going to fix it." I hadn't raised my voice. "I'm sorry - am I yelling at you? " I begged. "Or am I just expressing my concerns and hoping you can pass them along to your manager? " She chafed. And just to prove that she is completely rotten and vindictive, she sent my package standard instead of first class, doubling the price. I left wishing I had put her on blast after all. read more

I lost my packages that I bought from amazon because of this lousy worker in usps. I asked directly with the carrier in my condos and she was really rude. She said" let me do my job and I didn't know where your packages was. I was on vacation for 3 weeks" . I don't trust this usps anymore. I rather drive little bit farther to different usps than this one.. read more

2 packages lost in one month, one international, one domestic, and no refund. Have to ask them to find packages in back sent to my PO Box that have been delivered and no notice in my box. WTH is going on down there? read more

This is the absolute worst costumer service and efficiency that I have ever seen from any business ever. I have been trying to apply for a passport application for WEEKS and every time I have gone into this post office it has been an absolute nightmare. None of the workers have ever been able to give me a clear answer about any of the required forms or fees needed to complete the process. I have now had to return to this building 4 times and my application still has yet to be processed due to the lack of efficiency and workers who know how to do their job. I was given false information and talked down too as if I was incompetent. I finally decided to give up and process my application through the city and was able to do so easily and simply in one trip. This place is an absolute joke and so are it's employees it is no shock to me that the USPS will soon be out of business. I will NEVER use the post office again and will especially avoid this location at any and all costs. If you MUST use the post office for any services do yourself a favor and stay as far away from this place as you can possibly get. read more

My wife ordered some clothes online. They were shipped by UPS straight to USPS. When our mail lady delivered the package to our house, it, along with the rest of our mail, was too big to fit in our gang box. Instead of bringing our package to our front door, which they have done in the past, she put a peach slip in our box saying we could pick up our mail at the post office the next day. I went the next day to pick up our mail, and Rita, the lady at the counter, said she couldn't find our mail and that it may be back on the truck for redelivery. I checked my mailbox the next day with no luck. When I called the post office, the guy said to wait one more day. No package. I called the next day and got a hold of Lisa who told me that my wife, who has never been to that post office, came by, showed her ID and picked up our package. It took over two days to get them to, not directly of course, admit that they just gave our package to someone else. They don't have any record of who picked up our package. No signature. No ID scan. And they have offered no help. No reimbursement. Only a phone number for the post office inspector. (On a side note, when I went in to physically talk to Lisa, the lady in line next to me was having the exact same issue. This seems to be a reoccurring theme with this store). Rita has no recollection of giving our package away to someone else, and their excuse for not keeping records is to not have "mountains of paperwork." The handling of these issues with the lack of customer service and flat out negligence is completely unacceptable for this agency. read more

This post office is ok. Service inside slow but good. If you have a postal carrier named jessica then it is the worst experience you ever have. She'll put your mail on hold without ever you knowing if she feels that something is out of her way to deliver your mail. She will show of rocks in with your mail destroying your mail if she feels offended by you in some way because you're telling her to do her job. What I mean by telling her to do her job is pulling up and delivering the mail if she can't get to your mailbox with her mail truck she won't deliver your mail even if it's right there one step away. She's probably the most laziest person when it comes to doing a simple task. This is the reason why this place will always remain a one-star. You can explain this to the managers show the proof but the managers constantly change and nobody cares. So if you end up with her as a mail carrier it's going to be horrible but if you go inside it's pretty nice. read more

This place doesn't even deserve a star. Went there with my girlfriend to get our passports for which they only can give from 10-1. The only lady (brenda) who could do paper work for passports is gone for an hour lunch ? Who has an hour lunch right during the only time they give out passports . This is extremely inconvenient .also her customer service is worse then I've seen in a very long time. She's completely rude and she can't explain the process of getting the passports. This is her job . I would like to seen it done correctly and with a better attitude . read more

This post office is horrible. We're lucky if we get 75% of our mail delivered to our house. Our neighbors have to constantly bring mail to the correct address because the idiots that deliver from this post office are apparently illiterate and can't do that simple job correctly. read more

According to USPS tracking, my package was delivered to my neighborhood cluster on March 1, it was not. I waited the allotted 7 days to see if it would show up before contacting the store off of Mae Anne, it never showed. After calling the station 3 times and hearing the phone ring for over 2 minutes each time with no answer, I decided to go in. When I went in, I was told that tracking showed the package was delivered. Being that I too know how to read an Amazon tracking report, I was aware what the tracking number claimed it had been delivered. I told him that I never received the package, so he took my info and told me he'd get back to me. 4 days go by, I hear nothing. I call again, this time a new guy, Don (who genuinely is nice, albeit bad at his job), answers and the whole debacle starts over. Long story short, I have called 6 times and gone in twice in the past week with no progress. When I finally told Don my patience was up and demanded my package, he told me it seems it they lost it and he was sorry. When I demanded a refund, he said I'd have to go through the USPS Customer Call enter, which just rerouted me to contact the local station (after 15 minutes with a barely responsive automated machine), and he said I'd more than likely not get a refund and just have to accept the fact I am now out the cost of what I ordered on Amazon. So, TLDR; This USPS station can apparently NOT DO THEIR JOBS CORRECTLY and they face no consequences. Shame on you and your lazy, irresponsible postal workers. Being that this is a federal service, I can't even switch to a different service. read more

We have had multiple instances of mail being delivered to the wrong addresses. Despite phone calls, the problem continues.

This crew gets zero stars! The male Hispanic supervisor who I was ultimately directed to admonished me for being upset that my package was missing for two days, still marked out for delivery on the truck and no one knew where it was. I had been put on hold for over a half an hour earlier in the morning and ended up driving all the way back from work during my lunch hour to try and locate this. The first agent I spoke with at the desk asked me what I was looking for when I showed her the USPS website tracking information. If the USPS employee can't look at their own website and see that my package is not anywhere to be found who else is going to help me. The actual carrier who puts mail in my mailbox argued that I had already gotten two packages that day, which is correct, those were from another company, those were documented properly as having been delivered. I am allowed to get more than two packages on any given day through the US Postal Service although I doubt I will be using them willingly at any time from this point forward. read more

WOW. i wish i could give no stars. I went in to this post office today to ask about some packages that were never delivered to me. I just moved here and regularly get my other mail, just not any packages. When I asked the woman if she knew why they weren't delivered, she acted like I was the dumbest person alive, rolling her eyes at me asking if I ever came into the post office to fill out a form when I moved claiming i lived there.... I've moved multiple times and never had to do this, and never had any problem receiving mail/packages. Whatever though, I told her that was fine and asked if she could just send them out for re delivery, she said they wouldn't deliver it without me filling out the form. I told her okay, i will fill it out. She slammed down the form on the counter (without even giving me a pen) and yelled next.... I tried to tell her I had other questions and that's not all I needed, and she completely ignored me speaking to the woman who was next in line. I couldn't believe how rude she was, and i said "ummm are you finished helping me?? thats not the only thing i needed!" (I had to buy some envelopes too) and she said "yes i am done helping you. now you're interrupting this woman." I literally couldn't believe how she was talking to me, I tried telling her I needed other things and I was in line first, and not finished, but she just told me again i was interrupting. so rude. I called her a bitch and walked out, and she told me she "will make sure none of my mail ever gets delivered ever again" WOW. I wish i got her name but I was so mad that i didn't even think of it. read more
