They are very good in handling DMV registration. Would rather come here than go to DMV. Great company

The DMV can be such a nerve-racking place to be. I have to say, this was the best DMV experience I…read morehave ever had. I just moved from California and I made an online appt for the Double Diamond Pkwy location. I chose the DL/vehicle multi appointment. Scheduling the appointment online was easy and I for multiple reminders via text and email for my appt. On the day of my appt (which I made for 8:00 am) I showed up 10 minutes early and lines were already forming. They were split into an appointment and non appointment line. Representatives came out 5 minutes before opening to make sure people were in the right lines, had correct forms and to ask everyone with appts to check in via the text that came through. The text message gave you the option to press 2 stating that you had arrived for your appt. They told us once we checked in to take a seat in the lobby. The facility was very clean and quite spacious. I only had to wait about 5 minutes before my name was called over an intercom and told me what window to proceed to. My worker was very nice, patient and helpful. I was able to get my NV license ($41) and register my car and get NV plates. Check the DMV website before your appt as they have many helpful links to inform you of what documents are needed for each service. Things to note: VIN inspections need to be completed before your appt. These can be done without an appt. Just make sure you have your registration.

I'm halfway between the guy who said "This was way easier than the DMV" and my own opinion of "Why…read moreis this just as hard as the DMV?" Truth be told, for most things it's a lot easier, but apparently registering a boat with a motor of any kind requires nearly an act of Congress. Earlier this year I bought two plastic layout boats that had mounts for an electric trolling motor. I could use the boat with or without that motor, but of course the plan is to motorize them at some point. For that reason, I had to pull these plastic floating rectangles you slide into down to NDOW for an "inspection", which was nothing more than them looking at the boats, which I assume was to make sure they're actually boats, match numbers on a certificate of origin and taking a photo for the record. Prior to doing this I went to NDOW with all my paperwork to find out what I needed to do to get these registered. I laid it all out on the table and showed the woman what I had and was told I needed to bring them for an inspection along with the certificate of origin the seller provided me and we could get it all done. The reason for three stars is because after following those instructions I was told my paperwork wasn't sufficient. See because the paperwork was in the name of the seller, they would not accept that I owned the boats. Even though I had every piece of paper provided by the manufacturer and the title to the very trailer they sat on, it wasn't enough to prove I was the rightful owner. So after all of that, I had to track down the prior owner, bring him a bill of sale form (which they provided), get him to sign it, and then return to NDOW to complete the process. Because these plastic floating rectangles will have a motor on them they needed to be officially inspected, titled, and registered, and this process took me as long as it's gonna take to register the trailer! So if you have a kayak and you want to put a motor on it for any reason, you'll need all that and more. Kinda ridiculous.

I am on hold waiting to speak with someone at the local Reno SS office. Oh yeah, fun fact: my husband was also a VETERAN! Update---I finally got in touch with a live person. They rescheduled me for May 5th. I'm sure there will be an excuse then too when I probably don't get that phone call. Too bad your cushy government jobs aren't an incentive for you to actually show up at your jobs!!! I just can't wait to set up the appt for when I turn 60 this August and file for actual survivor benefits. I'll be lucky to get those next year sometime. Yeah I forgot, even though my veteran husband was already getting social security because I'm 59 I don't matter. Reno social security and social security overall needs to DO BETTER.

She goes from Glenda Care Group Home to More to Life senior activity center. Pretty simple task right, pick her up, drop her off and return her to Glenda Care. Well, since she's been using Access it's been a huge hassle. The drivers get lost, can't find the facility. Not a big deal because usually everything works out. Until today, April 30. I received a call from More to Life saying the Access driver called them letting them know my mom lost her purse and keys and couldn't get into her house. Remember, my mom lives in a Group Home. I started to get nervous and called Glenda Care at 4:28pm. They told me my mom has not arrived yet. I then became really nervous. So I called Access to find out "where is my mom". The person who answered the phone (didn't get his name) was a very rude, unprofessional and uncaring institutionalized robot. He actually laughed at the fact that no one knew where my mom was. Yes, he got my blood boiling. I told him this is not a laughing matter, reminded him my mom is almost 90 years old and has mild dementia. He told me she was dropped off at her house at 3:30pm (?). I told him she doesn't live in a house, she lives in a Group Home. He told me that a Group Home is a house. Yes, blood continuing to boil. He put me on holed. At that time my mom called me, 4:35pm, and told me she was at Glenda Care. I spoke with a caregiver to confirm. What a relief. When the Access robot came back on the phone I told him that my mom is at Glenda Care and asked to speak with his supervisor. I was put on hold until a recording came on and said the that person is unavailable. Well, that's story. Goodbye Access. I was going to visit the Access office but decided it's not worth my time. I'll just write a Yelp review. As I said earlier, Access does provide a very important set and if you decide to use it, I hope you have more patience than I do.

I understand that there is a ton of moving parts to a statewide agency…read morethat does everything from road and highway planning to a grossly under used public transportation system (about 14% statewide). This review is on the ancient process of obtaining a renewal for RTC Access. Even though a customer doesn't drive, they are required to pick up an original application in person at an office near the airport. They then have to get themselves to their doctor's office to have a signed "Doctor's Note" and return to the building near the airport to get the documents stamped to be processed. No online portal, no attached memo from a doctor, no forms available anywhere else. They ask your doctor exactly what is wrong with you and why. Trampling on HIPAA's privacy guidelines and patient privacy. This process feels 30 - 35 years behind the times (at least). The good news is that the vast majority of the Access drivers are the best RTC has to offer and scheduled trips are seldomly cancelled or late, rain or shine.
