RTC Access is a bus service exclusively for ADA disabled people that I use. What's the point when RTC executives don't make sure that RTC: serves all disabled people in Washoe County; don't make sure that all disabled people get safely to and from the bus; don't make sure that all disabled people get safely on and off the bus; won't help all senior people get a Washoe Senior Ride card; or won't even allow the drivers to make sure all disabled people's packages are safely gotten on and off the bus?

To fully understand and appreciate just how really really difficult it is for those of us who are forced to use RTC Access are disabled and / or Senior. That means the vast majority of us are on very limited and fixed incomes way way way way below what these RTC Commissioners, executives and managers' incomes. All RTC Commissioners, executives, managers, and employees at RTC should be required to ride RTC and RTC Access once a month. All RTC Commissioners, executives and managers at RTC should be required to drive for RTC and RTC Access once a month. Instead these prima-donna RTC Commissioners, executives and managers at RTC work in ivory towers. Instead, these self-important RTC Commissioners, executives and managers at RTC are completely insulated away from those they are paid with public tax dollars to serve and assist. read more
