It is located close to the Orlando Fashion Square Mall, but it is on a little side street that you probably would never notice unless you are specifically looking for it. It is not open on Saturdays, which is a bit strange. You woukd think that the United States Postal Service woukd have some uniformity with the hours of their locations, but it is what it is. With a little bit of research, I learned that this branch is "a historic landmark designed by Louis Simon in a Northern Italian Palazzo Revival style." It opened in the early 1940s, and its dawns GRAND features, like high ceilings, marble flooring, ornate bronze doors, bronze lock boxes, and many other unique features that brings it its character. It serves as both a post office and a hub for the Catholic Diocese. As it relates to me, it is walkable from my job - so on days when the weather is nice, I opted to walk. When I don't walk, I drive and they have a limited amount of parking but there is parking available on the street and surrounding areas. The wait is usually not too bad - unless you are going during peak hours. The staff is nice and helpful. They usually have everything I am looking for with the exception of some speciality box sizes - which can simply be secured via their website. The price is the price! We already know how hard our US postal workers have to work, so I patron the postal office as much as I possibly can.

It's a post office…read more This one is clean, spacious, and has some good people working here that actually have a modicum of pleasantry - unlike the usual "hi, what do you want, thanks" monotone rigamarole that has become standard for government businesses (I'm looking at you Orange County Tax Collector's offices). Always seems to be short on forms (certified, signature, etc) but can do some through the self-service machine.

I am new to Florida and was using this location to send a next day. When I approached she spoke as if her mouth was full making it impossible to hear much less understand. When I asked the difference in cost between overnight and priority she tossed an address sticker on the counter for me to fill out. I then repeated the question she turned her back to me saying nothing and pointed to the ceiling. Does everyone just look up at the ceiling for information? I then told her I'll take the overnight. She gave me an envelope and pointed to the area to fill out. What a rude obnoxious person the American tax payers are funding her life. I needed to walk away, so I did her the favor and tossed it back at her and I went to the lobby to fill out the envelope. Luckily when I came back I had a young man who was very nice, very helpful. However, she kept telling every customer who would listen how "some people" are disrespectful. Each customer until I walked out had to listen to her mouth. I walked out with a man and he said "She needs a lesson in humanity". I feel bad that anyone has to work with that thing but thanked the young man for his help. It is no wonder this location has a overall very low rating. Florida has a fire-at-will clause, DO IT.

Because of this, I often come here with a backlog of packages that need to go out. The staff is seemingly spread thin so they maintain a blase attitude most of the time. The facility itself is super dark and outdated. They carry new packaging and stamps though, so it gets the job done.

The rude two employees wouldn't even answer a question. The girl was using her arm flailing as saying go away. The man employee laughed!! She would talk over me when I tried to ask if the mail will be postmarked today. That's why I drove across town! I was there at 8:15 and they were closed with sign on door saying 8:00 but I looked online for hours and it said 9:00. The lady was very rude and could not answer one question.
