The main room is very tiny but they have all the stuff that you'd expect to see at a post office. The sheets of specialty stamps seem to sell out quickly since I never manage to get the neat ones. There are two parking lots - one of them is much easier to get into and out of than the other, so if you have a larger vehicle or don't like doing tight turns, go around the corner where there is more space.

There was no line and no wait ! I was cheerfully greeted by a postal worker, and I am so sorry that I didn't get her name because she truly deserves accolades. She was very helpful with instructions on filling out the forms I needed and checking on anything else I might need. She was very also very kind with the issues I was working with and gave very helpful advice about renewing my passport as well. So if you stop in to this branch and see a tall very blue eyed , salt and pepper, blunt cut with bangs, postal worker , and you are lucky enough to get in her line, then you're very likely to have excellent service.

Every time this staff is on it going above and beyond to meet all of my needs. I'd like to particularly highlight two of my more recent visits. I came in admittedly pretty late and when I did so the line was out of the door. Olivia and Sir were good stewards and piled through with very pleasant attitudes. I got to the front of the line to send off two packages. When it came time for me to pay for the services I realized quickly that they didn't accept Apple Pay ( FYI) my heart instantly sank to my feet because I felt as though I had just wasted their time. Olivia was still incredibly understanding. Sir is always polite and supportive each time I visit. The other day I came in in a panic because a recipient of a package had provided me with the incorrect information. Sir was incredibly calming and helped me think through my options. Other than that it's lots of convenient parking out front. They have plenty of P.O. Boxes. The inside of the facility is pretty clean for the most part.

That said, since I have discovered it, I don't go to any other post office location (at least not if I'm leaving from home) because this one is so convenient. Plus, it has better weekend hours than the Post Office on Bailey. You can get stamps, mail packages, and do all the things you normally would at the Post Office but without the lines that I've encountered at pretty much every other Post Office. I don't think I've ever had more than one person in front of me. The staff is very friendly and helpful. And if you need to get something from the Pharmacy while you're there, it's super convenient. Parking is easy, as is getting in and out of the lot. Yay for convenience and easy.

This is the main post office I go to. It's 2nd best out of…read morethe 3-4 that I hit up some times. This location (Hertel Avenue) is usually very slow. The employees work as if there's no one in back of the customer,even though the line is almost to the door. Sometimes you'll get a really nice worker who really helps you out & tries to give you advice on how to send something the cheapest way,the fastest way & figure help you out totals of a package,when figuring out how much everything is worth inside the box you're shipping. Others are just rude af ,and make u reopen things,go through it,take crap out & they are just simply bastards. The guy I had today was straight out of "Woodstock" ,listening to some whacky music that does not suit a post office at all. He acted like he was on acid,or just as high as a kite. I felt uncomfortable & all I was doing was buying 2 books of stamps. Lol But,I do have to say,I love the way they have such a huge selection of stamps and all different things from shipping box sizes,to cards,labels,etc.... Such cute stuff.

Only downside is that if you haven't been before, it's not too clearly labeled from the road, it's in a building behind a plaza, so I recommend using a gps if you're not sure. Since they're open late, they don't open until the afternoon. So if you had to drop something off check the hours before you go. They also have a few mailboxes out front that you can drive up to. I've been here many times, including during the holiday season. Even at their busiest times of year the staff is friendly and helpful. Easy parking too. Highly recommend if you need to mail something on the weekends or in the evenings.
