I had a…read morepackage of custom party decorations that was shipped late by an Etsy seller (despite my daily emails asking when it was going to ship and to confirm it would arrive in time) and it was iffy to make it in time for my son's 1st birthday party on Saturday. I called the post office Friday morning and spoke with Seth, the Post Master, and he was super helpful and said I can request the package be held as soon as I saw it was in Lockport. I tracked the package and called as soon as I saw it was at the Lockport station, they found the item and held it for me to pick up the morning of my son's birthday party. I went as soon as they opened the next Saturday morning and discovered the wrong package was held and now the package I needed was now out for delivery. Frantic, I called Seth and he discovered my package was going to be delivered by 5 pm...after the party. He asked me to give him a few minutes and he'd call me back. Within 5 minutes, Seth called me back and said his boss, Kaitlin, was going to get the package off the truck and deliver it for us and that she was going to call me to let me know when it was dropped off. In a matter of 30 minutes, the package was on my porch and Kaitlin called to confirm. These two did not have to do all of this for me, especially considering this wasn't USPS's fault, but they went above and beyond and were able to help make my son's 1st birthday party exactly as we wanted. I am so appreciative of Seth and Kaitlin and their excellent customer service. Thank you Seth & Kaitlin!!

This is one of the quieter post offices I've been to. I've never waited as long to mail out stuff here, as I have to wait at Clarence and even sometimes Akron. And don't get me started on some of the West Amherst, Cheektowaga, and city locations. I'd say it was my fave location in WNY, but one of the employees in particular (no names mentioned) occasionally has an attitude problem, so we'll stick with a 4. Not to mention, the products sold inside are infinitely more expensive than the same products at any one of many nearby stores. But I do find this location US-ful.

That said, since I have discovered it, I don't go to any other post office location (at least not if I'm leaving from home) because this one is so convenient. Plus, it has better weekend hours than the Post Office on Bailey. You can get stamps, mail packages, and do all the things you normally would at the Post Office but without the lines that I've encountered at pretty much every other Post Office. I don't think I've ever had more than one person in front of me. The staff is very friendly and helpful. And if you need to get something from the Pharmacy while you're there, it's super convenient. Parking is easy, as is getting in and out of the lot. Yay for convenience and easy.

This little post office is located next to the Tops complex and I've only had good experiences with…read morepeople working here. Because it's small, it has a limited number of shipping items you can buy (e.g. shipping boxes and envelopes) as well as a small selection of greeting cards. There are also only two cashier stations, which means, when there's a long line (esp during the holiday season), you'll be waiting a while. They're pretty efficient and fast with taking care of customers' business, but it could get backed up. Although I've used the self-service shipping center a couple times, I still prefer shipping things in person. That being said though, the self-shipping stand is very convenient. :)

My last visit the counter staff helped me pick out the best way to mail a letter that I wanted to know it got to its destination. She didn't sell me the most expensive delivery just to make money- she helped me with the very best option. And I appreciate that. Be aware this is a very small post office so they do not have as much merchandise or a drop box for large packages. You will have to give those directly to the staff.

I went to this Post Office (but this complaint is basically for all of USPS) and asked the best way to send it. Priority Mail 2 day is what I was told - it will get there on Monday 12/31. I took insurance on it too - total cost $31 to mail. No package arrived on 12/31 - I stopped in after about 10 days and asked about this package. I was told "we do not guarantee any packages for arrival on time except Overnight Priority!!!! So why did I pay for a service that was not received (the clerk agreed and said same happened to one of her packages but there is nothing that can be done!) I want some sort of a refund. They are selling a service but they don't have to provide the service! How ludacris is that! I tried to email the Postmaster General but it came back as undeliverable. I complained on social media and so many people said the same thing - no packages as promised! The package, thankfully, did arrive but TWO WEEKS LATER - not two days! I want a partial refund!!!! I will be using FEDEX from now on for my packages as so many have told me they are reliable.
