The line is currently outside and around the steps. 2 cashiers rude and extremely unprofessional at that. No one on the floor to help customers with questions. People skipping the line. Extremely unorganized and the lack of communication at this place is beyond me. Supervisors are never there according to the cashiers. It's now 10:00 . I was called to the cashiers window and the Korean lady has taken about 10 minutes just to replace the receipt paper. Extremely unprofessional!! Takes another 15 minutes to take my package and do her job. 311 will be called and hopefully they can get an inspector to check the unprofessionalism, unorganized and lack of communication at this post office. If 311 doesn't work. I'm sure calling channel 12 will love to review this story.... Btw I had no choice but to give them a STAR bcuz that's how yelp is set up.. if it were up to me. I would've rated this post office.. extremely poor, unprofessional, uneducated and lack communication.,

A couple was trying to get a U.S. passport for their newborn. They couldn't speak English. Instead of receiving support, they were met with hostility. The passport clerk a woman of color herself was dismissive, rude, and outright refused to help them or ask a Spanish-speaking colleague (who was also a supervisor) to assist. Thankfully, an angel, a stranger stepped in to translate. But even then, the employee made it clear she was annoyed that someone was helping. She voiced it out loud. Where is the basic human decency? Where is the empathy? This country was built by immigrants. Its strength is in its diversity. English is not the "official" language of the United States because we are not defined by one language, but by our shared humanity. And to the USPS an agency that relies on public funding and is under constant political threat your frontline service should reflect the very people who keep you alive. That family deserved respect. That translator deserved gratitude. We all deserve better. Do better!!

The United States Postal Service, located at 575 E Tremont Ave, Bronx, NY 10457, is extremely disrespectful and unprofessional, and the workers at that location have a very bad attitude, making it an unpleasant and horrible experience, with the worst customer service. I wish I had never experienced or even encountered this person. This person should have been fired a long time ago, along with the hiring manager or the leading supervisor. I don't understand or know if she is the supervisor. This is not an isolated incident; several other residents and customers have reported similar experiences of verbal abuse from the same staff. This woman!. She isn't a good person, and she isn't the right fit for the company. This behavior is a direct violation of federal standards and is creating a hostile atmosphere for our local community. This place should be investigated for everything because it is the worst post office in the five boroughs. Very bad and extremely slow service, and extremely bad customer service. Please do better. You can ask the public or any customer who visits the United States Postal Service, 575 E Tremont Ave, Bronx, NY 10457. During my interaction at the Window a staff member, a black woman with little weight on her, used explicit and foul language. This language was used toward me within public earshot while I was asking for help. As a customer, I found this behavior notoriously disgraceful and a violation of the USPS Zero Tolerance Policy regarding workplace harassment and inappropriate conduct. Such language creates a hostile environment and fails to reflect favorably upon the Postal Service as required by ELM Section 665.16. The behavior continues to be a problem for the local community, and I am willing to speak on the record about how this hostile environment is impacting our neighborhood's access to essential services. a serious lack of professionalism and the use of offensive language by federal staff at The United States Postal Service, located at 575 E Tremont Ave, Bronx, NY 10457, Post Office. This facility is a taxpayer-funded public service, yet the environment has become hostile and unprofessional for the community. No corrective action has been taken. This facility is a taxpayer-funded public service. I've also brought this matter to many local news outlets, like NBC News 4 "On Your Side", News 12 The Bronx, and Bronx Times. I will be providing them with witness statements and evidence of this office's failure to maintain federal standards. I will be contacting the offices of Representatives Nathalia Fernandez (District 34), Jamaal Bailey (District 36), and Gustavo Rivera (District 33) to request a formal inquiry into the management of this facility. A secondary report will be filed with the USPS Office of Inspector General. I would prefer to resolve this matter internally, but I will not allow this hostility toward the public to go unaddressed. I request that this incident be formally investigated and that corrective action be taken to ensure the standards of courtesy and character expected of federal employees are maintained. This behavior is a direct violation of the professional standards expected of a federal service. As a regular customer, I find this conduct both disappointing and a poor reflection on the United States Postal Service. To resolve this matter, I request that this incident be investigated and that appropriate corrective action or training be implemented for the staff involved. I look forward to your immediate response. by 03-11-2026 regarding the steps taken to ensure this does not happen again. This incident is a failure of government accountability and a public service issue rather than just a personal grievance.
