If there's one thing The BX, BK, Manhattan, QNS, oh...and SI have in common is that many (let's…read morejust say all) gov't offices, lack good old-fashioned customer service. Am I wrong? But this location on East Tremont in Schuylerville, defied that. We all know customer satisfaction is never guaranteed, but you might get lucky- because even for my quick in & out visit for really cute stamps, the gentleman helping me was cordial and even a conversationalist (who knew....in a post office of all places). This P.O. is decently sized I guess and ran smoothly while I was here. The only problem is that this location has dirty floors and no one seems to keep up with basic housekeeping.

Worst experience ever. I had a package miss sent to the 10465 office instead of my local office. I…read morecalled customer service and was advised to contact or visit the office holding my package so I can intercept it since it would be on the re routed track and further delayed possibly weeks. I was told to kindly ask to speak to a supervisor by customer service and provide my tracking information and identification and they should be able to assist me. When I got to the 10465 office I was met at the window by CLERK NUMBER 4.(name refused). I said good morning and explained my issue of the wrong shipping route and before I could even continue I was rudely cut off by this clerk #4. She was very rude and adamant in telling me she can't help me,even though she's at her window she doesn't have to help me and laughed and walked away briefly. When she returned I asked her can I speak to a supervisor to assist me and she repeatedly denied my request. She told me to leave my name and number and she will pass it off to be contacted later. I asked her can I just please speak to the supervisor now I'm trying to catch the wrongly shipped package before it hits the streets please. I begged. She still refused. I told her I just doing what customer service suggested to do which was contact the holding branch for better assistance. Still she looked at me in disgust and ignored me this time not even answering me and just sipping her coffee. Fortunately another clerk stationed their window. I briefly explained my issues and asked to speak to a supervisor it's very urgent. 5 mins later a supervisor came and I asked him to possibly help me locate my mail. I provided my id and tracking and he helped me retrieve it wrong the route it was going by to be mid delivered. I thank him for that. I am however so very disappointed in the lack of courtesy respect and quality of customer service provided specifically by CLERK #4. This is not the way of business nor simple human compassion. SHE LACKS THE QUALITIES LIKE BASIC COMMUNICATION SKILL EMPATHY AND REASONING THAT SHOULD BE REQUIRED AT THE FRONT LINE OF A BUSINESS!!! SHE DOES NOT REPRESENT USPS INTEGRITY OR PLEDGE OF QUAILTY IN SERVICE. I HAVE NEVER EVER IN 40+ YEARS DOING BUSINESS WITH USPS HAD AN EXPERIENCE THIS DISSATISFACTORY !!! The manger did after some time get my package and thank you again. CLERK 4 ( name refused) should not be at a window or be allowed to interact with the public at work. ITS DISGRACEFUL to represent a company that millions use daily in such a RUDE AND DEMEANING MANOR!!! AND I WILL ALSO BE FILING A FORMAL COMPLAINT AGAINST YOU CLERK 4.

To the Postmaster, I am writing to formally report an…read moreincident of highly unprofessional conduct that occurred. The United States Postal Service, located at 575 E Tremont Ave, Bronx, NY 10457, is extremely disrespectful and unprofessional, and the workers at that location have a very bad attitude, making it an unpleasant and horrible experience, with the worst customer service. I wish I had never experienced or even encountered this person. This person should have been fired a long time ago, along with the hiring manager or the leading supervisor. I don't understand or know if she is the supervisor. This is not an isolated incident; several other residents and customers have reported similar experiences of verbal abuse from the same staff. This woman!. She isn't a good person, and she isn't the right fit for the company. This behavior is a direct violation of federal standards and is creating a hostile atmosphere for our local community. This place should be investigated for everything because it is the worst post office in the five boroughs. Very bad and extremely slow service, and extremely bad customer service. Please do better. You can ask the public or any customer who visits the United States Postal Service, 575 E Tremont Ave, Bronx, NY 10457. During my interaction at the Window a staff member, a black woman with little weight on her, used explicit and foul language. This language was used toward me within public earshot while I was asking for help. As a customer, I found this behavior notoriously disgraceful and a violation of the USPS Zero Tolerance Policy regarding workplace harassment and inappropriate conduct. Such language creates a hostile environment and fails to reflect favorably upon the Postal Service as required by ELM Section 665.16. The behavior continues to be a problem for the local community, and I am willing to speak on the record about how this hostile environment is impacting our neighborhood's access to essential services. a serious lack of professionalism and the use of offensive language by federal staff at The United States Postal Service, located at 575 E Tremont Ave, Bronx, NY 10457, Post Office. This facility is a taxpayer-funded public service, yet the environment has become hostile and unprofessional for the community. No corrective action has been taken. This facility is a taxpayer-funded public service. I've also brought this matter to many local news outlets, like NBC News 4 "On Your Side", News 12 The Bronx, and Bronx Times. I will be providing them with witness statements and evidence of this office's failure to maintain federal standards. I will be contacting the offices of Representatives Nathalia Fernandez (District 34), Jamaal Bailey (District 36), and Gustavo Rivera (District 33) to request a formal inquiry into the management of this facility. A secondary report will be filed with the USPS Office of Inspector General. I would prefer to resolve this matter internally, but I will not allow this hostility toward the public to go unaddressed. I request that this incident be formally investigated and that corrective action be taken to ensure the standards of courtesy and character expected of federal employees are maintained. This behavior is a direct violation of the professional standards expected of a federal service. As a regular customer, I find this conduct both disappointing and a poor reflection on the United States Postal Service. To resolve this matter, I request that this incident be investigated and that appropriate corrective action or training be implemented for the staff involved. I look forward to your immediate response. by 03-11-2026 regarding the steps taken to ensure this does not happen again. This incident is a failure of government accountability and a public service issue rather than just a personal grievance.

The line is currently outside and around the steps. 2 cashiers rude and extremely unprofessional at that. No one on the floor to help customers with questions. People skipping the line. Extremely unorganized and the lack of communication at this place is beyond me. Supervisors are never there according to the cashiers. It's now 10:00 . I was called to the cashiers window and the Korean lady has taken about 10 minutes just to replace the receipt paper. Extremely unprofessional!! Takes another 15 minutes to take my package and do her job. 311 will be called and hopefully they can get an inspector to check the unprofessionalism, unorganized and lack of communication at this post office. If 311 doesn't work. I'm sure calling channel 12 will love to review this story.... Btw I had no choice but to give them a STAR bcuz that's how yelp is set up.. if it were up to me. I would've rated this post office.. extremely poor, unprofessional, uneducated and lack communication.,
