This location is open to 7p during the week and to 3p on Saturdays. Every time I've been to this location, I've been in and out in under 15 minutes. I'm always on the hunt for a post office that's open late. My life is not 9-5 and I'm glad to know that there's a location that meets my needs! read more

Honestly, avoid if you can. I always dread when I have to come here. Recently, I had to return some money orders I got here. To do so, you have to write your own name in the To and From fields, as well as an address. The worker named Pan took my ID and credit card and told me to step aside to write the info in. I made a mistake with the address since I have an ID with an old address on it and did not remember which address it was. I move A LOT. I crossed it off and wrote the correct one. And then Pan proceeded to yell at my mistake, told all of her coworkers, and refused to take the money orders. I went to Bank of America near by, and they took the money orders easily. No questions asked. Why Pan made such a big deal to me and everyone around her is beyond me. Go to any other post office, besides this one. read more

Apparently Management has changed at this location, and it has gotten WORSE. The lines are long yet they choose to help certain people (even if they just walk in). You would expect service when they open but there is usually only one or two people working at a snail's pace. Something NEEDS TO BE DONE ABOUT MISSING PACKAGES THAT SAY "DELIVERED". Someone is STEALING PACKAGES and nothing is being resolved...WTF!!! read more

This is by far the most horrible post office ever. I arrived at the post office at 9:00am Tuesday morning. Adding an hour to the meter so I don't get a ticket. The line is currently outside and around the steps. 2 cashiers rude and extremely unprofessional at that. No one on the floor to help customers with questions. People skipping the line. Extremely unorganized and the lack of communication at this place is beyond me. Supervisors are never there according to the cashiers. It's now 10:00 . I was called to the cashiers window and the Korean lady has taken about 10 minutes just to replace the receipt paper. Extremely unprofessional!! Takes another 15 minutes to take my package and do her job. 311 will be called and hopefully they can get an inspector to check the unprofessionalism, unorganized and lack of communication at this post office. If 311 doesn't work. I'm sure calling channel 12 will love to review this story.... Btw I had no choice but to give them a STAR bcuz that's how yelp is set up.. if it were up to me. I would've rated this post office.. extremely poor, unprofessional, uneducated and lack communication., read more

Back to being the slowest post office in the area. By a far margin. Continues to understaff at key times of the day. What looks like a supervisor is constantly talking w clerk about non-work orient issues. While I'm sure she's popular she slows the already sloth-like pace. The clerks are themselves good workers otherwise. read more

This office stays open longer than other post offices in the Bx. Their customer service reps for the most part are more pleasant than in most other locations. I also like that this post office is close to a lot of other businesses and stores. It's right around the corner of Macy's. read more

This post office has "lost" many of my packages though out the years. They marked my items "delivered" to my mail box, but they were never put in my mail box. Also don't expect any refund even if you have insurance, once it's marked as delivered your claim WILL BE DENIED!!! read more

The worst of the worst 0 out of 5 stars.. they are raciest, incompetent, unprofessional, and just a placeholder with no real purpose. The big girl makes fun of immigrants and yells at them, she thirsts over men on line and skips people to help the ones she's thirsting for.. the post office favors others over some, regulars walk in and don't wait in line and have their mail sorted to the side and ready to hand off when they arrive.. they do not respect the customers nor do they respect the establishment nor their employment. When asked for supervisor they make you wait in lines that never get served and supervisor never shows. read more

Im giving a 1 because i cant give a zero THEY'RE SUPER NASTY HERE OUT OF LIKE 7-8 workers in a whole year of living this area and shipping almost every day I've dealt with maybe two kind workers here . Asian lady is rude ,always giving a hard time over package weight. Younger women there are always blabbering away and or too distracted or with an attitude to move at a speedy pace . Theres always a huge line all the way out the door unless you catch the magical hours . I love the older African American lady with the glasses (shes a sweetheart does ,her job fast and always respectful . Other than that The male staff today told me it "was not his job to give me the information i needed or even an envelope sleeve, after the asian lady sent me to him to be attended because she "did not want to service me " due to me telling her I weighed my package prior to even going there . Gender Pronouns here..forget about it ... It is the end of the weekend and it was 4:40 pm (they close at six ) but this is my 5th incident at this location 3 times with the asian lady (once even charged me almost 30$ for a package that was already paid for because it went over by 4 ounces ..WAIT IT GETS WORSE 2 of those times the packages got lost in transit and it messed up my mercari sales ) one of the packages showed up 3 weeks later and it was literally after the situations with the workers ) i always greet everyone kindly and with respect so I'm highly disgusted and disappointed about being told it was not their job to give me shipping sleeves /envelopes and putting the "window closed sign on the window while i was speaking as if I'm invisible ) they should be ashamed.Reasons why ethnic people are usually stereotyped, because it takes one rotten apple to spoil it for a bunch with their laziness, lack of kindness, and just negativity. Hope they have a wonderful weekend. Just pay the extra 5$ and send your item next door at post net if it's with prepaid mail like mine was . POST NET workers are always so kind . read more

The line always seems to be very long. I wish there was more organization and more people to help. Despite this, I've gotten good service when I've been here. Thanks Mulling's for being accommodating to me today. read more

I have never been to a place of business and encountered so many nasty people in my life. I've lived in parkchester for years and have a po box there so I see first hand all the time. They are just plain rude. Customer service is zero. You can't ask a question without a rude response. Complaining to the supervisor does no good, she's just as nasty. There should be a zero star, that's what they would get. read more

I wish I could give this place zero stars!! This is the worst post office I've ever gone to. The mail carriers are awful don't ring doorbells leave ridiculous notes like package doesn't fit in the mailbox well if it's a shoe box of course it won't your supposed to ring the doorbell and "attempt to delivery the mail!!!!" The manager, workers are awful they don't know what their doing and don't care about the customers at all. What an awful experience. If you can avoid do so! read more

This post office is terrible! The postman do not have the courtesy to leave you a slip telling you a package is at the post office at all. This is not the first time it happened but numerous times. I have my poor parents waiting at the apartment for the bell to ring, and NOTHING! If I didn't go online to track my packing through the store I made the purchase with, I wouldn't even know the package has already arrived at the post office. When I track it with usps, it dared to say they attempted to deliver for package. Bunch of BS! read more

They are putting the wrong mail in the postal mail boxes! I keep getting someone else's mail. I have not received my mail!!

The Oriental lady 'pam' was a total bitch to me when all I wanted to ask was ONE simple yes or no question about the customs form I had to fill out so she (an immigrant) can live freely in this country while my husband sacrifices his life while deployed for a year. She wouldn't give me the time of day, acted like I wasn't standing there, ignored me when I said 'i just have 1 question' her reply was NO I'm late for my break. Bitch you wouldn't be get a break much less a government job if it wasn't for families like mine and you can't take 2 seconds to answer a question.....THAT IS WHY THIS COUNTRY IS THE WAY IT IS. This locations employees steal packages. I have proof! Two weeks ago I had a packaged marked as delivered at 8:01am left at the front door it says. I check the door within 10 mins (it was also a rainy day and it was a huge shoebox) NO PACKAGE! I check my cam dvr, there was no truck or delivery person in sight at 8am! I called asked for supervisor who pretended to take my info never even got back to me... I went online and filed a package trace/ claim no luck at all.. even eBay refused to refund me so I had call my card company directly. This place is horrible and hopeless in its system. Usps in general has gone to hell. read more

This is the worst post office I've ever lived near. They consistently lose packages and delivery is so bad they are open exclusively on Sunday's for a brief period of time just so you can pick up the packages they are too lazy to deliver. I signed up for delivery alerts just to see when they were supposedly trying to deliver. I've actually been outside waiting for them and would get a text saying package undeliverable. Slip left. No slip, no one ever came. Guess someone just decided I should walk to the post office myself at almost 9 months pregnant to drag my packages home. Oh and since they don't leave I missed you slips because they never even attempted to deliver it in the first place, the post office has a pad and paper for you to write down your own tracking number and address. Of course you'll need to stand in line at least 20 minutes because everyone in Line has the exact same story. Save yourself the headache and use fedex and UPS. I've never had an issue with either of those companies. read more

First, they did not deliver my package which was ok . I scheduled a re delivery. 6 days later no update online nor no redeliver of my package so I called the post office gave them my tracking number and the rep confirmed that my package was at the post office. I drive 20 mins in the pouring rain, pay the machine for parking, give them my tracking # and surprise surprise......NO PACKAGE WAS LOCATED. Where the hell is my package??? This place should cease to exist. Side note: They gave a customer a hard time Bc all the man wanted was to get her name and she didn't want to give it to him. These people are USELESS. read more

I'm so fed up with this post office every time I have a delivery the driver rings the bell if u don't come down he takes the package back and leaves I am disabled and on the first floor he is beyond lazy and heartless I can't hardly walk I use a cane and he knows this I keep calling to complain and nothing happens he has done this every month for over a year. read more

If I could leave this location a negative 500 I would. My goodness I have never in my life dealt with such USELESS, LAZY, RUDE, INCOMPETENT individuals how I have here. I have had problems for 4 months with them "attempting to deliver" my packages and never doing it. I would be home all day waiting for my packages to NEVER come. Latest incident Today. How fucking lazy can you be and who even does the hiring process!?!?! I then call the manager who is extremely rude and get the run around for forever to get my package. USPS customer service opens a case and the manager for this location closes it resolved meanwhile he never called to actually even attempt to resolve the issue. I'm constantly wasting my time at home waiting for my stuff for the employees in this location to not even attempt to do their job. Furious is not even the word for what I am! Stop wasting people's time and do your job and management should be more on top of this problem to make sure their employees are actually doing what they get paid. We the customers are who keep you all employed! read more

I remember when a Post Office employed respectable employee's who loved their Jobs and Provided QUALITY Customer Service to it's Patrons. Most of the Clerks employed in this Location are NOT Professional and friendly....RUDE is what describes their overall demeaner. The carriers are LAZY and ALWAYS late even when it's not a busy season. When packages are tracked online they show they have been DELIVERED and left with a person at the location when in reality the DELIVERY has not been EXECUTED. This practice is very scary and leaves the customer Vulnerable to LOSING THEIR PROPERTY to a FRUADULENT practice that the carrier Executed! Drivers/Carriers do not follow up on Re-delivery the following day as so stated on the USPS website. Why doesn't anyone take RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR WORK ANYMORE? Why is this Post Office Managed So Poorly and by Who? Today I waited for my Package that I tracked online and saw it there was an Attempt to Deliver it on SAT.....Website states a redelivery attempt will be exectuted on the Next Work Day, today is a work day and NO ATTEMPT HAS BEEN MADE!!! This is what happens when Federal/Government Hires Garbage.....They will work great until their probation period is done and once they get in the union they start the Bad Job Behavior. The customer should not be the one to suffer due to the post office bad Hiring Practices. Overall I'd give this location an invisible 1 Star but I can't. TERRIBLE CLERKS-FRADULANT PRACTICING CARRIERS-DRIVERS-RUDE AND UNFRIENDLY CUSTOMER SERVICE. Read all the Reviews on this location, only 1 person wrote and rated it 4 stars, they either have a family/friend who works there or were sent by a location employee to post that review...smh read more

If I could give them no stars I would! I've lived in this neighborhood my whole life and this post office has always sucked but it's has some bow gotten worst. I have a huge inkling that their workers tend to steal packages! I've had three packages delivered through them that never actually get to me! Either they put it's been delivered which is a lie because I will stay home all day for my packages or they will put they attempted but was unable and no further notes and my stuff goes missing! They've stolen beats head phones, key rigs, Victoria secrets and more from me DO NOT USE THIS POST OFFICE! The government should shut this one down ! read more

This parkchester post office Is the worst post office I've been to in my entire life and I'm 63 years old. The lines for package pick up are always out the door, the workers are rude, the bulldog looking female supervisor has a nasty attitude when you ask her for help. She's suppose to set the example for her workers and she acts totally unprofessional if I could give this place -0 stars that won't be low enough!! Hello everyone just want to put it out how Parkchester Post Office really gets down. This Monday I arrive to get a money order for which I thought I would be in and out. We'll I was sadly mistaken. There was One line for pretty much everything but not the packages. Two Cashier's were present the Third was doing Passports. Out of no where One of the Loud Cashier's tries to help her Co-worker with the line that was getting long. Which made things worse how she spoke to a few of the people on line. Her work ethics could had been Professional along with a few of her co-workers. All to say you just never know who is watching and waiting on the side on how you do your job. That's why I perfer Manhattan. read more

Lauuuuud Have Mercy!! This post office!!!! Which is the Parkchester Post Office!!....People ..... OMG!! this place gives new meaning to the world HORRIBLE!! The customer service should be a DO NOT for customer service trainees everywhere. So I have stood on the line waiting to be serviced with the intention of mailing an item to Georgia USA! I am not exaggerating when I say I was on that line 3.5 hours! I mean I could of went to the nearest airport and flew to Georgia USA (which is just a 2 hour flight from New York ) and got this package there faster!!! This is how bad the customer service is!! So if you are going there to mail something....do yourself a favor and bring a small stool to sit on... cause you will be standing a long long long time! So many have complained to headquarters about this place!! Very little has changed! Sometimes I would travel into Manhattan on 85 street on first Ave, to go to the post office there. The post office there which is the upper east side has excellent A+ service!! read more

Where do I even start? I've lived in Parkchester for 3 years now and this post office is more of an inconvenience than anything else. Half of the time I have to to go and pick my packages up because I guess they didn't feel like delivering. I order a lot from Amazon and I order a 40lb bag of cat liter once or twice a month. With that said, because someone doesn't feel like doing the work they're paid for bring the heavy box to my door, I often have to walk to the post office to pick this up. I don't own a car or a dolly nor should I have to pay a cab. This is the purpose of why they're there for. I'll be home all day and next thing you know I get a text message from Amazon stating "Delivery Attempted" when no one rang the buzzer or knocked on my door. Horrible service! Also, there are a few workers there that are really incredibly rude and unprofessional. What they need is a huge firing so they can have professional and more reliable staff. The thing is, if it's heavy and an old women delivering it I don't mind coming down to get it. I've done that before but some people don't care and are just plain lazy. read more

again i was home all day they just leave a slip and not even try to ring my bell i was off from work and stayed home all day for this package im filing a big complaint for this deliver guy this keeps happening worst post office in this state they are soooooo lazy to do their job give it to some one who will accept it . read more

This is one of the worst post offices in the United States. The clerks are very unprofessional, extremely rude, and disrespectful. They have inappropriate conversations at the window, they argue and disrespect customers who are literally confused and need help with mailings. Instead of helping the customer they will scream at them as if they are scolding a child. Telling the supervisor is like talking to yourself, the supervisor does nothing. The line is always long, they have the most of two clerks working and when you finally get to the window and want to ask a question they are so nasty towards you. The only clerk who actually knows the job is an older middle aged Asian woman. She's professional and she knows her stuff. The rest are African American young women and they are the absolute worst. They are bias towards Indians and Arabic people. They treat them like pure shit. It's just awful how they are in this location. This location needs to be cleaned up and there needs to be some diversity in there. It's a total mess. I will NEVER go back in there ever again because one of the clerks was so nasty to me. The USPS needs to remodel that location starting with those uncoof clerks at the windows. AVOID this location, it is the WORST! This location gets a -0 rating. This location isn't worth a rating. If I could do half a star I would. read more
