This is my typical go to USPS location. Sunny has always been attentive, helpful, and friendly for all my postal needs. Unfortunately, I do think this location can get overwhelmed by the amount of customers especially when there is only 1 staff memeber working the desk most of the time. There's not much parking around here but a quick tip is to park at the Dollar Tree across the street, which is also handy if you need last minute packing supplies like envelopes or tape. read more

The best thing to happen at this location is that postal employee Lauren retired after 20 years of misery and a nasty attitude. That said As if sent from heaven Sunny arrived with a pleasant friendly and helpful attitude. She is always helpful and greets you with a smile . Bringing miss sunny to morris park was the best decision USPS could have made. She has brought back the sunshine from the previous darkness that crippled the reputation of this post office for so many years. The young lady with the braids needs anger management &/or therapy for her serious mental issues. I have never had a clerk treat me in such a deplorable way. It's unacceptable behavior to take out your frustrations on customers, much less throw a fit because you can't communicate with them like a normal person. From the moment I walked up to the window, she was snappy with her tone, rolling her eyes, exhaling loudly. She was uninterested in answering my questions, which is part of her job. Kept trying to get me to pay for an expensive box instead of actually helping me. At one point I told her I wasn't trying to make her job difficult, but she didn't want to hear it. It seemed to make her ruder and angrier; at no point was rude, I didn't raise my voice, nor was I sarcastic. It made me numb with shock when she tore my label off my parcel even though I told her I'd pay for it, even if i didn't want it that way. She's not interested in talking and working with customers, just wants to be miserable and have an excuse to lash out. read more

I need to complain the USPS worker's bad service, whose name is Maria Denials. Today, I went to Morris Park's postal office to mail some packages and buy money order and stamp. When I finished the transaction of mailing packages, I wanted to buy priority stamp. However, she told me there was no priority stamp. She even did not search the box to tell me that. She always did that way for many times. It was fine. When I purchased money order, I passed the money that I just withdraw from the bank. She counted the money for a little while. She told me the remaining money should put in the same face. That was her job. But, she passed the remaining money to me and let me put the money in the same face. She threaten me that if I did not do that, she would not provide the service to me and let me go away. How rude she was! Who gives her the right to reject the customer. I did not do anything wrong. No law requires the customer to put the money in the same face, otherwise, we cannot buy the money order. If there is negative star, I will give her one negative star. She did not treat the customer as human beings. I hope the postal supervisor can let her leave her job. read more

I would truthfully say this post office is a disgrace to the bronx community and the entire ny state. It looks old and dirty. The workers make up there own rules and they are very lazy. They act like they are doing you a favor by servicing you. If you bring in too many packages , they don't even want to take them. They want you to bring them to another post office. I often use this post office. The lady at the first counter, is ALWAYS so rude. I believe her naMe is Lourdes. Clerk 35 Today I asked for a posh mark box, and I called it incorrectly! You think what I did! She rudely corrected me. Then a customer in front of me asked for old glory stamps, wow she played so dumb and said we don't have them. We have and call these flag stamps!!!! She was so rude. This was not the first time I have experienced her rudeness. I was there the other day, maybe monday of this week, there were 2 other ladies, who where very nice! I even commented how nice they were! This post office realLy needs to do something about her. I use it because it's convenient. But every time I go there, I get anxiety, when I go there! I am 71 years old. I have never in my life had a shouting fight with an employee anywhere, but that's where I ended up today, thanks to the incredible rudeness and hostility of the clerk at the right-most desk facing the customers at 1:30 on a Wednesday. This isn't my local PO--my local PO is friendly or at minimum, civil. This experience was an absolute horror and if anyone cared about service, the clerk should be fired on the spot. Earlier in the day I'd gone in to mail my package, but it was too expensive so I went home, cut down the box, and came back. I am not feeling well, so it was not easy, but I did it. The previous clerk had seen the box, which said "UPS Store" and hadn't said I needed to cover that up. I mean, things are mailed with all kinds of writing on them and I'd only gone to the UPS store to buy the box because USPS didn't offer boxes that size. So I went back and the clerk I was unlucky enough to get refused to take my package because of the UPS wording on the side. I asked her for a pen so I could scratch out the UPS, she said "I don't have anything" when she had a container full of pens right in front. I said, you've got pens there, and she said "Pen won't cover it, you need to go cover it." I asked if she could give me a piece of paper to cover it and she said no. I said I was there before and the other clerk hadn't told me I had to cover it, she said something to the other clerk (who was probably terrified of her anger problem) and then called me a liar. I said OK, would you at least just weigh it and tell me how much it would cost, and she refused. She told me to take the package away and called the next person. By this time, we were both yelling at each other. I have NEVER IN MY LIFE LOST MY TEMPER IN A RETAIL ESTABLISHMENT. They don't dare act this way at UPS or FedEX, sadly. This woman has no business working with the public, or with anyone actually. WHERE ARE THE SUPERVISORS? I see so many poor reviews like mine about this post office--why isn't anyone listening? read more

This is the absolute worst post office I have ever been to in my lifez that is once you can actually get in the doors.They make up their own hours day by day .ussually only 1 person working who will lock the door with no sign for two hours. This place exemplifies everyone's negative ideas of the Bronx: It's tiny. It smells like a porta-potty. It's dirty and crowded. It has only two possible lines, but only one is ever open. There's at least one layer of bullet-proof glass between the customer and the postal worker at all times. Said postal worker is, of course, rude, slow, and utterly disinterested. Even if it were usually an utter joy to visit the post office, this place would suck the life out of it. The only redeeming feature whatsoever is that it's walking distance from my apartment, and that the other nearby USPS offices aren't much better. read more

Like Kate T. mentioned, definitely a small place that smelled like cigarette smoke. There is one line that filters into one of the two teller windows. One of the lady's working there was a bit rude, but the guy teller was better. Both were helpful in a hurried, harsh sense. In case you need to fill out a form there, I'd recommend bringing a pen since there are none on the table. read more

If I could give it negative stars I would. Awful service! The workers are extremely rude and UNHELPFUL. The workers don't care about your experience or their jobs. It's so disappointing when your small local post office has such bad service that you would rather walk 30 minutes to another location that provides better and friendlier services. As sad as it is to say, this location should be shut down or needs new management. The post office employees are our local hero's especially during times like this and I'd like to appreciate their service but that's hard to do when you're treated with such hostility. Millions of American have lost their jobs due to this pandemic, you would think that these employees here would at least treat their jobs with respect and dignity. What a shame! This post office is small but the workers here have always helped me out when I needed advice. Yes, you are going to wait. But at least here, unlike my old post office in the South Bronx, I haven't seen anyone threaten to stab the workers like I did there. I was in and out quickly when it came to my turn. The reason it takes so long when you're in line is because people come here totally unprepared without filling out the required forms/etc beforehand and the teller has to guide them. The 2-3 times I've been here, only one teller. The location is a bit on the grungy side (the whole place looks like it's just covered in dust, but it may just be the drab grey "decor"). The place is really small and there aren't a lot of supplies compared to the other post offices. I'll probably come here several more times when the occasion calls for it. The last time I was here, I had already printed out my shipping label and postage, so all I had to do was drop off the box and I was done in about 5-7 seconds. Come prepared and you'll save yourself, the teller and the people in line a lot of headache. read more

Fedup with declining service, leaving USPS. Stopped by to mail a priority package. I picked the box in their lobby just to find the new boxes are not self-sealing, so now i need to get priority tape to seal-shut this box. None to be found on the lobby supply counters i approached a window. I was told "We don't have any. I don't know why they stopped sending us any. You now have to buy some." So, not feeling like spending money unnecessarily (i have at home), i left. And guess what, when i ship it tomorrow, it will be via UPS. This is only a trend i see in this branch. The one i usually go to (closes a bit earlier than this one) is on Crosby Ave, and is one to emulate. read more

Like every other PO, dirty, smeller and the workers very rude. No Pens, long lines, one window open, never two opened with 2 windows. Try calling impossible they leave the phone off the hook.
