The food was amazing! The savor the sour everything was balanced. Also the presentation and texture were OK. Overall pretty good

The food was good, the savor and sour are all balanced. The service was pretty amazing! Employees were friendly. The ambiance was great too because the had some music playing and there was not that many customers. Over my only complaint is the spice was not really balanced but this place was good, the taste the texture and coziness, just muah!

Chicken Noodles Egg Fried Rice Chili Fish Mongolian Beef

Went here a few weeks ago at the end of Ramadan and was pleasantly surprised! The service and interior of the restaurant are OK but the food was delicious. We had chili fish, Mongolian beef, shrimp fried rice, and chicken chow mein. The food was spicy, salty, flavorful Dash everything you want in a Chinese restaurant. I ate at this restaurant maybe 1 to 2 years ago, and was very disappointed, but I heard the that the chef changed and now the food is delicious! For dessert, we had mango kulfi and pistachio ice cream, which were both served in cute clay containers. The ice cream was better than the kulfi. Prices are reasonable for a Chinese place and I would definitely return.

    Goat Matka birani
    Ikra Z.

Matka Goat Biryani 6/10 Last month I went and had Matka Goat Biryani. It was a HIT 10/10!! But like my friends suggested Usmania is a hit-or-miss situation because Yesterday the same makta goat biryani was very Poorly made. It was Veru OILY and was missing the original Safron fragrance. The biryani tasted like rice and goat curry mixed in a hurry rather than actual slow-cooked biryani in a Matka. The meat was perfectly cooked no doubt in that, but the amount of bone was more than the meat. Service 10/10 The service was quick, I was seated right away. Even though the server told us biryani would take 15-20 min, it came within 10 min or less. Maybe that's why the biryani wasn't up to the mark. The ambiance was good, the table and utensils were clean.

This was a let down, the food was meh as well as the service and portions were a bit small for the price. Guess they forgot the MSG, the noodles were oily and chili beef was not spicy at all (the onions made it more sweeter). Overall, will not be returning.

It's the same concept as Boiling Crab or Kickin Crab in California. It is BYOB! So I walked across the street to Target, got some Seltzers and brought them to our table. This is prob the one thing that I love the most. Great service. The seafood boil is pretty good. They give you a bib and gloves to keep you relatively clean. You have to use your hands to eat your food and work for it. Go for the seafood Cajun sauce (garlic, butter, lemon pepper). It was super good flavor. Mild is the way to go. We asked for spicy sauce on the side for an extra dollar. I would skip the preset family meals. Order 1-2 lbs of your favorite seafood. They have prices per lb on the large chalk board. The shrimp, crawfish was cooked well. The crab legs were boiled before cooked, so the shell was soft and easy to cut with scissors. Next time, I'd get the shrimp, crawfish, clams, and mussels. The family feast ($145)- came with king crab, snow crab, option of 2 from shrimp, crawfish, mussels, clams. Also, a scoop of rice, green beans, garlic noodles, and fries. I would pass on the king crab and snow crab. Garlic noodles were average. Fries were average . They also sell boba drinks if you like that

So when I needed someplace fabulous to celebrate my daughter's birthday, I immediately thought of Ash. Over the years, we worked together on parties, luncheons, and fundraisers. It was such a fun time in my life, although I had some very demanding people I had to answer to! No matter what I threw his way, Ash made me look good every single time. Twenty years later, he did it again. I made sure to take pictures because hopefully I can post them! I had the Halibut Scottato, and it was outstanding. My daughter had the Aleppo Chicken. I rarely eat chicken, but hers looked so good I had to have a bite. Excellent. Then there was the focaccia bread with this special oil. Oh. My. Goodness. It was so good that my daughter was hoping her entrée would hurry up and come because she wanted that bread all to herself! She kept talking about how good it was in her Oprah voice: "I LOVE BREAD!" And we can't forget the lavender lemonade--so good! Even the cheesecake at the end of the meal was superb. The food was phenomenal, but somehow, the service was even better. One piece of advice: make reservations. It may not look crowded when you first arrive, but that changes very quickly. You can tell Tala House already has its loyal customers--and after this experience, we're adding ourselves to that list. Walk in? No. We're not doing that. When you find a place with beautiful ambiance, great décor, phenomenal food, and exceptional service, you don't just visit once. You become a regular. Thank you so much to Tala House for making my daughter's birthday so special. She loved everything about the experience, and that made this mom very happy. It's surprisingly hard to find one that's consistently good, but Crab King is by far my favorite. What sets them apart is the sauce and seasoning. It's flavorful without being overly salty, and the medium spice level is just right. I've been to Lowcountry plenty of times, and I personally find their boils way too salty. I honestly don't understand the hype when compared to Crab King. As of now, this is the best seafood boil I've had in Chicago. Of course, if a new spot opens, I'll happily give it a try, but Crab King is currently my #1. Their happy hour is also hard to beat. The seafood boil deals are great, and the $1 oysters are an added bonus. If you're a seafood boil lover, I definitely recommend giving this place a try!

The lobster roll was mostly bread and very little lobster. The lobster in it was very small, stringy pieces and nothing like the large chunks in their own Instagram images. I would be willing to pay more for a better sandwich with more (and better) lobster. It wasn't premium lobster in look or taste to be honest. This sandwich, in its current form, is a hard pass. Mussels were okay. A few that didn't open, but that's to be expected. I'm not sure how fresh they were since they had a bit of a fishier scent. They give you a head of garlic, a lemon, a baguette and a tub of compound butter. It's great in theory, but the butter was tasteless and I could just as easily used my own butter and other ingredients. The customer service was okay. We called ahead to make sure they had all of the elements of the mussels as part of the package and the person ringing me up still had no idea what I was talking about. In the end she made sure everything was there after I brought it up so it was fine. One other issue I had was that they just put the mussel mesh bag in my bag and they leaked mussel juice/water over everything else in the bag. Two of those things were tinned fish gifts for someone else and the cardboard was soaked in fishy smelling liquid. I know there is a new owner and I really hope he does the things he needs to improve and make this place worth it. Right now I can't see going back when there are places like Boston Fish Market that get it right.
