I ate here last week, specifically Friday night ending the week tired I wanted something quick and tasty. I have gone to USA wings since the old Northline mall days. You can't go wrong eating here, the only thing I didn't like is that they switched from curly fries to regular seasoned fries. They were not bad tasting I just really enjoyed those curly fries! Anyway the meal was outstanding some nice buttery toast with my meal. I ordered a tender combo with a side of sauces for dipping. The sauces are absolutely delicious with its own unique flavoring nothing like the regular wing stop. If you haven't tried USA wings on the northside of Houston you should definitely try! Wings were disgusting, plain , no great rub or sauce on the wings . Mozzarella sticks were like chewing rubber , the fried pickles no flavor just plain fried pickles . Only reason I am giving a 2 star review is because the lady who checked me out was nice that is all . With a $44.00 dollar tab these wings were horrible and not good . My brother got food poisoning from their food. You would think the worst part was the food poisoning, but it was actually customer service when he called the restaurant to let them know about the wings and food poisoning issue, we've made a report with the city to get their restaurant inspected. We've supported this restaurant for years and always recommend this spot as a hidden gem but as of late the quality of food and service has gone down the drain and with this most recent incident none of our family or friends will be bringing our business here. read more

I visited here on a Monday night and it was pretty slow. It's one of the top rated wing spots in Houston, but with less than 20 reviews currently. Maybe the worse wings ever, imo. You order at the counter and there are several booths and tables, if you choose to dine in. The fountain drink machine is sitting on top of a high counter, so short folks might have a hard time even reaching the dispenser. I took advantage of the daily wing special (9.99) which saves you 2.25 off the regular menu price if you're ordering a combo. It's 8 wings, curly fries and a drink and they allowed me to choose 2 flavors, so I picked my usual at other wing restaurants: mango habanero and honey bbq. I actually can't decide whether the food was worse, or the service. There are signs behind the counter indicating "Please put your phone away when ordering"...yeah, one of those places! Yet, the cashier is constantly taking orders via the phone and barely notices when you walk up. Pretty ironic. They want your undivided attention, but yet they don't give you yours! The cashier / server was just plain unfriendly when ordering and when I finished my meal and went to leave. Seemed like she was irritated that I was dining in, instead of her usual to-go customers. The flavors were just weird and way off! Mango habanero tasted nothing like mango or habanero peppers. It tasted like a basic buffalo-flavor wing sauce. The honey bbq literally tasted like Heinz 57 sauce. On top of all that, they're very proud of their ranch. A small order of sauce to go with your wings is 99 cents....yet only 59 cents at other wing restaurants in Houston. I don't recommend this place one bit! read more

The food is great, i only ever got the chicken tenders for kids, with buffalo sauce and the fries are amazing when they are hot and fresh. i recommend eating them there instead of taking out. The service is good, they get your order down and say it back to you just to be sure. Food is great, no question about it but the customer service is horrible. I ordered three entrees and i was missing a toast. I tried walking in the store and to ask for it and the cashier lady didnt want to let me in cause they were closing. Weeks later i come back and explain to her that she should owe me an extra bread and she goes on to explain that there isnt nothing she can do. She said they ran out that day, well its another day and i didnt get what i paid for.. which is stupid cause she knows i didnt get whats include in the order just to tell me theres nothing she could do about it. I have not been here inn15 years. I was in the area, so I said why not. It is still good. The foos was awesome and the employee was super nice. Even though I was the only person in there who was not Hispanic I was treating so nice. I am glad the good is still good. I will be telling all my friends and family about this place . Yeah sooooo.....food wasnt good or just decent enough so when i paid for it atleast i can eat it. Its sad becuase the fries were really good and the cheese was as well. I decided to give this place a shoot since the rating it had here on yelp, but i was let down. For starters the chicken was pretty much flavorless , the only thing that i tasted was grease , the one you see in the picture and butter so i was told. Don't let those 2 low ratings fool you. I call shenanigans. USA Wings is one of the better wing locations in Houston. The flavor system is self-explanatory. Certain levels of heat can be served with certain flavors OR you can get your wings with flavors on their own. I promise it's not as hard to understand as earlier stated in these reviews. The curly fries are delicious and perfectly seasoned. I will agree that their ranch is on the pricier side, but if you truly love the taste of good wings, you really won't need ranch. This local wing shop is more than a "hole-in-the-wall" location. It's a permanent resident of Northside where locals go to get some of the best and most affordable wings in town. read more

Hole-in-the-wall wing place. I've seen this place many times before but never thought to actually stop or order wings from here. It wasn't until earlier this year that I tried it, loved it and went back several times; then was disappointed. The first few times I had wings from this place they were excellent. After awhile I noticed that it turned to a hit or miss. I have no idea where they get the wings from but sometimes they have nice big wings and others very small bottom of the bag wings. I think they are beginning to get stingy with the sauce as well. Maybe it is just the different cooks? Now I am sure to specify, "extra wet" for my wings. I like them hot and I like them saucy! I believe they have daily specials. All I know for sure is Tuesdays are "2 for Tuesdays." The staff can also be a bit reserve and to the point you think they're being rude. One of the guys who fills our order has consistently forgotten items (ranch, celery, etc). Be sure to check your order before walking out. They also have additional flavors of wings. I've tried the lemon pepper wings. They can have a little TOO MUCH seasoning, personally I like that but I know it can be a bit much for others. There are other traditional foods you'd find at a Wings N More or any other traditional American restaurant. ie. burgers and chicken sandwiches. read more

I've been looking for a place to replace Wingstop since they upped their prices and changed the menu. USA Wings has filled the void! I finally stopped by after years of curiosity. The place it's self doesn't look too inviting. I popped in on a Tuesday and they have two for Tuesday specials so that was a plus! I ordered my wings half lemon pepper and half original hot. The original hot had a great flavor and I'd definitely come back to get some more. The lemon pepper had a lack of lemon pepper taste to it. I ordered extra sauce on the side (paid extra) and they didn't place it in the bag. I tried to call and order a week ago but whoever I spoke to said that they didn't do To-go orders over the phone and I would have to come inside and order which was odd because when I finally did stop by I noticed them taking to-go orders over the phone.
