I had my nails done here back in December and was very disappointed. I asked for a French tip acrylic with white acrylic as well so everything acrylic no gel but she did not know what I was asking for and I showed her a picture. She did acrylic pink and used white gel polish for the tips. It took super long and I had to fix them at home. Sadly my once favorite shop has become my least favorite after giving them numerous chances over and over. I think they are too unstaffed and overwhelmed. Instead of getting more help they have resorted to slacking/rushing on nails. My last manicure was so awful. My gel polish was peeling off by day 5. I have never ever had this happen. That same trip the owner had the nerve to ask me to pay cash for tip before me even paying. That is completely unprofessional. Note rating = 0 stars. If your skin color is brown and you identify as African American DO NOT do business with these people. So tired of the blatant racism at these nail shops in the Sun City area. I've put up with it long enough. I made a 4 p.m. appointment (or did they even add me to the schedule?) I wonder. smh When I walked in the door I was greeted with a "can I help you?" by a tech who was seated in front and working on another customer. I told her I had a 4 p.m. appt at which time I was told to "have a seat." I know the drill by now and sometimes the tech is running behind so no big deal; I complied with what I was told to do. After a few minutes (was only maybe 3-4min.) I got a funny feeling that I would be forgotten because where I was seated no one could see me and everyone is busy. So I stood up and politely asked " how long it would be b4 I am served." I wasn't given a straight answer instead the head tech (cannot recall her name) said she'd do my eyebrows first. No Problem! When the eyebrows are finished I was directed to pedicure bowl and she starts water (no bubbles) so now my feet are sitting in luke warm water for about 3-4 min. Oh and I had to ask her for the massage control as well. If you seat me at least have the courtesy to hook me up with the massage control...my goodness!!! So she is rolling her cart towards me as if she was going to get started when another customer comes through the door stating she had a (get this) a "4:30" appointment with the Tech that was working on me." Why did this woman immediately turn around and tell the customer to have a seat at the nail station and she IMMEDIATELY began to work on the 4:30 customer; leaving me sitting with my feet in now "cool water"' no explanation given to me at all! Like how much more rude can you get??? By this time I'm over worked up so I asked for a towel and I dry my own feet off and asked how does that customer come before me? Her answer "she had an appointment." EXCUSE ME!?! And I didn't??? Doesn't 4 p.m. come before 4:30 p.m.??? I'm convinced that I wasn't on those books to begin with because it was as if they were looking for my name on the schedule when I first came in and then they started talking in their language but the vibe I got was off. So why even bother to make an appointment if you are not honoring them. Anyway I paid for the eyebrows and out that door I went never to return. That was the most degrading and insulting moment I've felt in a very long time. Like I said I've encountered some pretty rude, cold and callous nail techs and it's no question that African Americans are treated differently. I'm not one to complain or play the race card too often even though I encounter low key racism in places of business occasionally and I deal with it when I need to; but today I say "no more!" I'm very grateful that I have a choice of where I spend my hard earned money and I promise you it will never be at USA nails in Sun City. I appreciate good customer service and if I'm treated well I'm your customer for life and I'll bring you even more business from friends and family. But in this case I will share my personal experience with ANYONE regardless of the color of their skin but especially African Americans who ask for my recommendation for a nail shop in the Sun City area. USA nails is NOT where you want to go. Customer Service is WHACK; unprofessional and rude. This is 2022 and I am very grateful for a platform like YELP so these companies know that they must be held accountable to customers who patronize their business they can't treat people any kind of way and expect them to lie down and take it. Now days places of business (not just nail shops) are subject to have their true colors exposed so they should be more careful of how they treat customers. read more

Well very unprofessional! On Tuesday or Wednesday I called and made an appointment for a gel manicure with Candy at noon on Friday. I showed up at noon and told the son my name and that I had an appt with Candy. It looked like she was in middle of some other customer. So I asked how long a wait would it be. The son and Candy had words in Vietnamese and he told me she was behind and could I come back in half hr. So I went and grabbed a quick sandwich. Came back at 1230 at which time Candy was doing a pedi on someone else and told me I didn't have an appt with her. Asked me when I called. I told her. Then they said they had my name but not with Candy. So I asked if she would be able to do my nails today because I needed them done. And she asked if it had to be with her and I told her I didn't know anyone else. I also did not see any one that was available to do nails, so she never answered me. I stood there asking the same question with no response. Bye now I had already wasted 45 minutes and eating lunch at a place that I would never have eaten at just to get my nails Done there. So I left and I will not be going back. They offered no other solutions. They told me to come back in a half an hour wasting my time. This place is just awful. I went in for a mani/pedi and left so disappointed with me nails. My pedicure was great and the woman who worked on them was amazing. I wish she did my nails as well but I was turned over to another woman who doesn't do a great job at full sets. My acrylics were so bubbly, jagged, and flared out at the ends. Not my style at all!! I told her I want them thin and short and she made my nails look horrible. I went home because I didn't want to cause a big fuss, but the more I looked at them the more I disliked them. Definitely would not recommend. I walked in the owner didn't even acknowledge me, I sat down for at least 5 mins before anyone asked what I needed. I had an appointment for that afternoon wasn't seen at my appointment time , I was probably taken in 15 mins later. Doesn't seem like they have A/C the doors are kept open and they have fans at the doors pulling in the hot air from outside. Alright so.. Last week I made an appointment for Thursday at 1:30 with Kandi. I walked in to the salon exactly at 1:30. I was asked what I needed, and I said I had an appointment with Kandi at 1:30. Kandi said alright take a seat, while she was in the middle of doing another woman's nails. I waited for 30 minutes (meanwhile two walk in customers started to be helped with their services) I finally got so frustrated that I asked Kandi for another appointment the following day. She said the earliest she had was 11:30, so I said I'd take it. The following day I walk in to the salon at 11:20. Kandi immediately tried to scold me in front of the salon packed with people saying "You're late! You did this yesterday too! That's why I couldn't do your nails! Your appointment yesterday was at 1 and today's was at 11!" To which I replied "no, you told me 1:30 and 11:30." I asked if anyone else could do my fill. Karina ended up trying to help me. All I asked for was matte black nails. Well let's just say my nails looked like complete crap. She didn't even do the matte top coat correctly which left all the outer nail shiny. When I asked her about it she seemed like she didn't want to fix it, and said it's supposed to be like that. I used to go to Kandi's old nail salon in Romoland, called Nail Time. Every single time I went there I had to wait waaaaay after my set appointment time. So it just shows me that she took her lack of professionalism to her new location. I will never go to that crap hole again. Also would like to add, NONE of those nail tech stations are clean. They are FULL of nail dust, nail clippings, dry acrylic, cuticle clippings, and chips of gel polish. The floor, is absolutely disgusting. The pedicure chairs are not properly disinfected. And NONE of the tools they used on me were sterile, let alone clean! When they used the cuticle cutter on me, it had OTHER PEOPLES SKIN on it! I had to ask her to clean it off... Downgrading from 5 to 3 stars because of serious consumer payment issues that actually violate state and federal laws. Once the owner gets this straight with the employee responsible, I will update my review. My mother and I went yesterday for pedicures (with an appointment) and the service was excellent and timely. It was my second time and my mother's first time. She said it was the best pedicure she ever had. I was very happy with my pedicure too. Lots of attention to detail and not feeling rushed. And they offer bottled water to customers, which is a nice touch. However, sadly, when there are consumer practice violations at a business, I take that very seriously. The young man (presumably the owners' son) taking payments needs to be trained and admonished. He refused to grant the entire 10% discount on our services (which is offered by the business on Yelp). When I told him the discount should be $2.40 on a $24.00 bill, he said, "We don't do cents," which is absurd. He only provided a $2.00 discount for both my mother and I. It would be sad that the otherwise fabulous business (especially excellent sanitation procedures and best spa chairs in the area) would be tarnished by bad consumer practices. read more

Gave one star because there is not an option to give No stars. Avoid going to this place they give horrible customer service. I was there to get a gel manicure. They let 3 women go ahead of me only because they were going to get acrylic nails on. My sister were there with me and they messed up her toes made some nails look round and others square. My sister who got the powder nails- as seen on the pictures-where uneven, messy, bumpy, chipping, and was very dissatisfied with her nails. The nail tech did not seem to know what she was doing. My sister has to walk her through some things. And many times that my sister has gotten powdered nails she had never seen someone put a color with gel on the powdered nails. If the powder is color and that was the color she had chooses then why would there need to be a gel color on top. On top of that if you get your nails done at this place you have to pay addition for Them to do a basic manicure. You would think that was already included or needed to be done prior to put on the nails but not at this place. How are they going to put on nails and not bother to prepare and clean up your nail bed. They did not even bother to color the tip of my nails so that you couldn't see the different layers on my actual nail. So be prepared to pay addition $10 just for them to not proper clean up the work they are already suppose to do in the first place. Avoid this place at all cost. These short nails you see on the picture was $50. Save your money and go spend that on a real nail salon. read more

I was a walk in hoping to get a spa pedicure. I came in at the perfect time because I got a chair prepped right away. The young man who began working on my feet was quiet & handed me the menu to see which pedicure I wanted. He proceeded to work on my gnarly nails (talons). We made small talk & found out he was doing this job while he was in college for electrical engineering. I never got his name but we had a nice conversation. At the end of it all he did a nice job on my nails & my feet look great! This was a very nice first time experience at this salon. Most nail salons are closed on Sundays in Temecula. This was my first time at USA Nails on 12/30/18 and Andrew was the one that did my nails. Anyways Andrew sort of listened to what I wanted done but he seemed a bit preoccupied as he kept looking at his phone. I love the color but the way that he polished my nails did not reach the end of the cuticle. I pointed this out to Andrew and he seemed to look past my comment and finished my nails with many unpainted spots as seen in the photos that I posted. It's really hard for me to go back to get it fixed since I am disabled and I wish he had listened to me and what I wanted in the first place! I feel like the reviews were very misleading. As you can see it wasn't a horrific job and I would be willing to give them another try if they were to fix them to my liking. I would also update my review then too.
