I cannot say enough amazing things about my experience! I was extremely nervous going into my appointment because my only previous waxing experiences had been painful and honestly pretty traumatic. From the moment I arrived, Priscilla made me feel completely comfortable, welcomed, and cared for. She even opened her shop for me because it was my birthday and I was leaving for a trip to Italy, which speaks volumes about her kindness and dedication to her clients. Priscilla took the time to listen to my concerns, never pressured me into anything I wasn't comfortable with, and explained everything along the way. Her knowledge, professionalism, and expertise were immediately apparent. For the first time, I actually had a positive waxing experience! If you're scared, nervous, or have had bad experiences in the past, trust me when I say you're in the best hands possible. She is truly a gem, and I can't recommend her enough! read more

If you want amazing consistent sugars look no further. I've never felt more comfortable during a Brazilian. Pricilla is the best!

I had a fantastic experience--this was my first professional wax, and I couldn't have asked for a better introduction. Priscilla is amazing! She's incredibly kind and made me feel completely comfortable from start to finish. She talked me through the entire process, which really helped ease my nerves. I've already booked my next appointment and honestly can't wait to go back! read more

Priscilla is the best! She will provide you with amazing service and amazing results! She makes sure you are comfortable the entire time which I really appreciate. She is definitely my go to wax specialist. I love my results every time and sugar waxing last so much longer! read more

I can't believe I've never left a review for her, but Priscilla is amazing! She's super sweet and knowledgeable. Her treatment room is cozy and welcoming. She's been my sugarist for what like five years now? The way she applies the sugar never pulls my hair, and removal is quick with no hair left behind. I'm an esthi who only uses hard wax, but Priscilla will always be my sugarist! read more

I started coming to Priscilla for Brazilians after I found out I was pregnant (the thought of trying to shave sounded exhausting lol). She is hands down the best. She walks you through exactly what she does, lets you know when a spot may hurt a little more than the others, and always communicates to make sure you are okay. I have found her technique to be nearly painless (obviously you aren't there for a massage lol but in terms of waxing it's so tolerable). Just got my final wax at 38 weeks pregnant just before baby girl is due and it was as smooth and painless as all the others! She is the BEST!!! read more

Priscilla is an absolute godsend!! I've been coming to her for a few years now and I can say I never leave an appointment disappointed. She is s talented in her craft and makes you feel beyond comfortable. She is totally a perfectionist, so I leave every brazilian with no hair left standing. You can tell she is so passionate and knowledgeable about sugaring. Definitely a hidden gem in Lakewood! read more

I am absolutely Smitten!!! (Pun intended) Priscilla is sweet, kind, and comforting. I have waxed for years and I will never go back. Sugaring is where it's at. It did not hurt at all and I haven't done anything down there in over a year. Looking forward to my next appointment. read more

I had previously done regular, hot/soft wax before. While the results were good, the hot temperature and the wax itself seemed to irritate and dry out my skin. A friend suggested I try sugaring instead since it is better for sensitive skin. After doing some yelping, I decided to try out Smitten Sugar Spa, and I am so glad I did! Priscilla is super sweet, knowledgable, and professional. She is always so welcoming and makes waxing quick and easy. I love how she gives you an intro into the history and process of sugaring on your first appointment. Appointments are also so simple to book, as Priscilla is so accommodating. I highly recommend Smitten Sugar Spa and Priscilla for your next waxing! read more

Priscilla is very welcoming and throughly explained everything before performing her services , I would highly highly recommend her . She makes sure to ask you in between waxing if you are ok Her wax room is very clean and she also doesn't double dip her sugar wax ! I will definitely keep going to her ! read more

Great Service with evening hours. Priscilla makes sugaring look and feel effortless. Her personality is cheerful and her knowledgeable made me feel very comfortable during my Brazilian. read more

I love Priscilla!! This was my first time getting a Brazilian but she walked me through the whole process giving me breathing tips and letting me know I could do this lol There's a restroom in the complex which is handy just in case you need to go. When getting a Brazilian she offers you a Summers Eve wipe to prep you and a nice warm towel when you're done to reduce redness and pain :) Please come to her! She only accepts cash but I promise you, you won't find someone like her. She's precise, quick and loves what she does. Time literally flies by with Priscilla. I'm a regular now and I highly suggest you come! A Brazilian is $60 which also includes the bum area :) read more

I would 100% recommend anyone to come here for their sugar waxing. Priscilla is so nice and made me feel comfortable even though I was extremely nervous. The procedure itself was quick and honestly much less painful than I was expecting. My skin didn't get irritated either so in conclusion Priscilla is the best. read more

I came here while I was walking downtown in Palm Springs while we were on our mini vacation and there was a lady giving lotion samples at the door wish I could remember her name she was amazing but she did say that she was just hired there have been there for about a week while she did a great job I agreed to do the hand treatment which OMG my hands were so soft afterwards I absolutely loved it was able to pick the essential oils I wanted in my scrub in my lotion this place is a must visit if you're in the Palm Springs areas or visit their website absolutely love love love their service and their products definitely a must try read more

I'm so grateful I came across Smitten Sugar Spa. I had been looking for a consistent wax person for years after the one I would go to closed in the OC and I lost contact with technician. I tried hard wax at European wax , soft wax with the mutton strips, wax with the regular strips, and I always felt that those hurt more than the other so I was always hesitant towards going back. Once I heard about sugar waxing I did my research and everything about what i had read was correct. I've been coming to Pricilla for the past year for full Brazilian sugar wax( I go in every month) Pricilla is amazing! Not only is she super friendly and easy to talk to but she is also very good at her job. She guides you through the process, gives you some tools for grooming, and the sugar wax to me is the least painful I have ever experienced, (apart from the first ever place I went to in the OC that is closed now). She makes me feel really comfortable. And I'm in and out in roughly 15 mins. I definitely see myself continuing to come here for my grooming needs without any questions. I pay for a buy 2 get one half off packet and to me it's a great deal as technically you'll be paying 45 per wax with the tip already included in the price. Also Pricilla is the only technician in her room, so there's no other people around hearing you squirm or your conversation or being a distraction like some other places I've been to (wax candy). Her place is clean, she brings in a heater, music and the ambiance is great overall. Definitely recommend!!! read more

This was my first time EVER being waxed and Priscilla made the experience the best! I felt very comfortable with her as well, she was the sweetest and explained every step of the process! Honestly didn't even feel as much pain as I thought I would. I've already made my next appointment! read more

Priscilla is honestly the best! So much better service and care than any other wax place I've been too. She's super honest about the whole process and makes me feel super comfortable. 10/10 would recommend. If you need anything waxed please go see her!! read more

A friend of mine referred Priscilla to me and I was very very pleased. You'll definitely would be satisfied with Smitten! Priscilla is super down to earth. 1st time to Smitten w/ Priscilla and she was AMAZING! I love her! Lol. Her personality is THE BEST, and she makes you feel very comfortable! She had 15 clients before me & I was her last appt for the day, and she STILL had a bubbly attitude as if she just started her day! Lol. Room was very clean & nice & toasty... bed/table was super comfortable! I got bikini/french & underarms done & it was so smooth & tolerable. Prices are very AFFORDABLE... and I love that she gives recommendations on NATURAL aftercare products, and also educates how hair growth works & such (if you're interested in knowing). I found her here on Yelp & I'm so glad I did. I'm not a veteran to sugaring, only got it done 4x in the past elsewhere, but I'll be a frequent customer with Priscilla moving forward! Found me a new Sugar Mama! read more

For years I have been waxing as many women do. Although I'm used to it by now, you can imagine that this appointment is a bit of a pain (no pun intended) and I don't totally look forward to it. I had been curious about sugaring for a while, and when I was introduced to Priscilla by a friend, I thought I would give it a shot. I'm glad I did, because this was one of the best pampering sessions I've ever had. Priscilla is at once both professional and friendly. She knows just how to talk to you like an old friend, but also makes it clear that she takes her job and the quality of your experience seriously. I was naturally a little apprehensive at first, but she put me at ease by explaining every step beforehand, and held a normal conversation during the procedure to take my mind off the slight sting. Sugaring was MUCH less painful than waxing has ever been, and thanks to Priscilla's expert hands and attention to detail, there was no hair left behind. I would highly recommend the experience, and her services especially, if you're on the fence about sugaring or are open to trying new methods. The price is comparable, and there's little to no swelling or irritation of the area afterwards. Best of all, the skin heals more quickly, so unlike waxing there's little to no recovery time. I can now look forward to not dreading these appointments! read more

I absolutely adore Priscilla! This was my first session with her and I felt very comfortable, I even booked my next appointment. She introduced herself and got straight into everything I needed to know about the sugaring process. I got a full face sugaring and I really appreciate that she customizes the treatment based off of your skin. I can tell how observant she is and I value that so much! She let me know that she'll be sugaring my face then applying a facial mask. Based off of how the skin reacts to the sugaring she'll put in a little extra ingredients! She was very honest with me about her schedule and booking in general, which I appreciate being that I'm a new client. Ended the service with conversation, a scheduled appointment, and even a hug. Again, I absolutely adore Priscilla! read more

I cannot even tell you how awesome Priscilla is! I had never gotten anything waxed before but I was feeling bold and decided to go for it. I looked on Yelp and found Smitten Sugar Spa and wanted to give it a shot. I'm so happy I did!! I'm usually pretty shy when it comes to showing off my lady parts but Priscilla made me feel SO comfortable that I didn't even think twice about it. I was very nervous about the pain but she made a huge effort to make sure I was doing okay the whole time, which was much appreciated. Overall, the pain wasn't that bad, which surprised me! She's so nice and easy to talk to which made the time fly by. I was probably in there for 20 minutes but it felt like 5. Also, she really goes in depth with explaining the process and everything she's doing which is super great. I already booked my next appointment. She gained a new loyal customer for sure! I highly recommend coming here - you won't regret it! read more

i have tried it all when it comes to waxing (sugaring, hot wax, strip wax) and i'm so happy i stumbled upon smitten sugar spa when looking for a new waxing salon. Aside from being a very gentle sugar waxer, Priscilla is very informative with her practice and is very experienced. I have been burned by other waxers in the past and she was able to tell just by looking at my skin! She knows the best techniques for you by observing your skin and will inform you about everything she does and why she does it. She is super nice and i felt very comfortable while getting waxed. I definitely plan on returning here for all my waxing needs. read more

Priscilla is an expert at her craft and it really shows. I wasn't a big fan of routine lady grooming but Priscilla makes it so effortless. She made me comfortable and answered all my questions before, during and after. I will never wax again and now I don't know how I could ever go with someone else. Her personality and professionalism are the cherry on top. You won't regret your visit! read more

My first ever sugaring experience was amazing! I was skeptical due to my pain tolerance, but it does not hurt at all! After one appointment of sugaring I noticed a huge difference in my hair growth as it significantly decreased. My skin feels so soft and has no pigmentation. You will leave Smitten Sugar feeling like a goddess! I love the sugaring hair removal technique Priscilla uses. It's natural and afterwards I feel so smooth and perfect with no bumps or irritation. Her spray tans are AMAZING! I feel like a new (sexier) woman when I leave there! Her prices are great too. The location is very safe, professional, and convenient. I like how she explains the entire process to you and ensures you know about the aftercare. She also is sure to buy the best quality products. Plus her personality is great and it her level of professionalism and talent will keep you coming back! Thank you Priscilla! read more

Priscilla is very kinda and gentle! I highly recommend her sugar waxing! She's also super knowledgeable and open and will explain everything and answer any question. She'll be super honest about what to expect and is completely transparent about what to expect. The sugaring itself is probably as painful as traditional waxing, but I feel lasts much longer and is less stressful on my sensitive skin. I'm not great at keeping up with my appointments as it's not a priority when money gets right our schedules stretch up... BUT Priscilla is completely understanding, which has not been my experience at other salons. For that alone I'd give her an extra 6th Star! She knows I'll always come back to her when I get back on track! read more

So ...it's not easy for a man to admit but sometimes we need a bit more grooming than we can do on our own. I throughly enjoy coming to Smitten Sugar Spa. Priscilla always make sure I am comfortable and tries to keep it as painless as possible. In all reality it really does not hurt and your skin looks amazing. Best part is you look like a nice groomed man in the 21st century than a cave man, plus ladies like a well groomed guy. Any guy who is apprehensive about waxing should try this out. Over time it helps reduce hair growth and hair stiffness in those difficult areas. I am way happier with sugaring than I ever was with shaving. read more

Love Smitten Sugar Spa! I found Priscilla's business on yelp about 3 months ago and so happy I made an appointment with her. It's always a bit hard to find a new esthetician/sugarista you can fully trust, so I was definitely a little nervous to come in for my first appointment. Let's just say...I don't plan to search for anyone else! Priscilla is not only a sweetheart but her level of expertise is incredible. She's so knowledgeable and any question you have, she will gladly answer with so much detail. She always has a smile on her face and makes your experience a smooth one! (Literally)! :) Her technique is great and by far, the less painful I've ever experienced. Also, if she gives you any advice, take it and follow it! I did and I'm seeing great results! read more
