It was so much easier than we expected and we will be coming back to store our things in Kendall xtra every summer!

The best part, my rates have not changed since I started. This company could easily try and hold my items at ransom and try to increase my fees every year (like other storage facilities do), but they value loyal customers and in turn, I'm happy to still be with them. Rates are variable, depending on the area, and in this area, this venue has the best rates. The facility has A/C and parking right in front of the large shop door. This facility does not have keyed entry pad or late hours, but given the price of the units, it's a small trade off. I only visit a few times a year, so not having the extra fringe benefits is worth the savings. I would highly recommend this facility.

StorQuest has horrible business policies! Their business rules are such that the customer comes…read morelast!! 2 examples: (1) I was rented a leaky storage unit that StorQuest thought it had repaired. When it subsequently rained, I unit flooded with water. StorQuest's policy: Too bad; you're on your own! We hired a mover (at our time; our expense) to move to a non-leaking interior storage unit (2) When renting a storage unit, I was asked to provide proof-of-insurance to avoid needing "their renter's insurance". I provided the proof. It turns out that when my standard 12 month homeowners policy expired, StorQuest automatically began adding their $16 per month renter's insurance. StorQuest certainly had both my email address & my phone number. No one ever contacted me (to bring in my current insurance policy)!! I only found-out by luck that this unnecessary $16 monthly fee had been charged to my account for 18 months! When I immediately produced my valid insurance, I was smugly told "I will credit your account beginning today, but there won't be any refund for the past 18 months". Storage units are necessary under certain circumstances. There's plenty of choices in the 33176, 33156, & 33134 suburban neighborhoods of Miami. Based on my experience, I WOULD NEVER USE THIS STORQUEST AGAIN‼

Even after explaining the situation, they refused to waive the late fee. It's disappointing that after years of on‑time payments and loyalty, there was no willingness to show any understanding or flexibility for a situation completely outside my control. I've had several issues with this location and management has failed to do anything about them even…read morethough there have been multiple complaints from other units. There are people living there inside their units, and take up the walkway with their things. There have been people smoking inside their units, causing the entire floor to stink. We found a roll of duct tape thrown on the top of the wired fence ceiling of our unit with a loop at the end of it. It's just not a safe feeling environment. I just went to the office and was kicked out by Sonia because she had to go to lunch. It was 4:42pm and there was another lady inside the office as well. Update (answer to Cube Smart's reply): I brought the issue of people living there to the attention of on-site personnel. I did this more than a couple of times on several occasions more than two months ago. Their last answer was that other people had been complaining about the same issue and had brought it up to management, but they responded that they were being accused of racism and therefore would not do anything about the issue. I don't have the time to help run cube smart and I am paying for cubesmart's services, not the other way around. All it takes is for someone to review the cameras for the last few months to see what is happening...but apparently they don't want to do anything about it. I will not waste any more of my time communicating with them. I have put in my cancellation of my unit and have contracted another unit from another company.
