I've been a customer at this location for almost five years and have always paid on time. While I was traveling, my card was stolen and I didn't receive the payment alert until yesterday -- after the grace period had already passed. Even after explaining the situation, they refused to waive the late fee. It's disappointing that after years of on‑time payments and loyalty, there was no willingness to show any understanding or flexibility for a situation completely outside my control. If you decide to rent there prepare for increases every 5 months. I wasn't able to leave before the next bill and was surprised with another increase right on that months bill statement. The manager Julio stated I was advised 2 months ago. I assume by email where it ends up in peoples junk folder, no call or letter at all. They also increased it 2 months ago by a small margin with no explanation. I understand they cant prorate since I left early. I went ahead and moved out since I wouldn't have time later and advised Julio the manager. He took my email as if I was not going to use it again and closed my account so they are able to rent it out even though I had the month paid still. This is horrible business and theft in my opinion. I paid and did not get my service or a refund! He never informed me he would do this he just did it because he misunderstood my email. Regardless he should have waited for the rent to expire! The point is they take advantage of people by continuously raising the rent multiple times a year and steal from there customers by not honoring their contract! Beware!! Storage King Margate accessed and removed my high-end and expensive items from my storage Units. How I knew, they took photos of the action and many of the personal items that were specifically stored in the front of unit were all missing. The day before the auction, the office manager closes the store early and blocked my final payment. No information about where the action was taken place was provided. Had I not requested the information, I would not have known. A review online showed me the auction had already began before the date provided to me. I was blocked from accessing the auction online and was only provided email approval after the action was completed. I called and left a message with a sales Rep to which no one responded. I had to call the store twice to get a response about my personal items. Today, the office manager hang up and me when I enquire about my personal items. After speaking with her, she sent me a letter and told me that they accepted the action bid and also that they will send a balance for me to collections and it will affect my credit. I've been a customer here for over 10 years and they always charged my credit card. My card was compromised and the January 1st payment did not go through. I stopped at the location several time over the next five days to provide my new credit card. All three times the office was closed and I left a voice-mail. Today, I finally met with someone at the office and they charged me a $60 late fee. They did not care that I tried to contact them several times. Like the clerk said "you should of updated the credit card information on line". This will be my last month here. read more

to be honest with you not very impressed. Every time I call the number I never get through to an actual live human being. It states that the Miami storage has 24 hour access. Not true. It states it's open till 9 PM. I got there at 8:56 PM wasn't allowed access. I tried to go to the office I understand Mondays closed. I tried to go twice doing regular scheduled hours and all I got was a little meter stating will be back in an hour. Came back an hour. Still not there. This happen both times they spend more time out of the office, then providing any sort of customer service. again this is the one on 137th and 152. again this is the one on 137th and 1/52. read more
