I would not recommend this place to anyone. Renting space here has proven to be a mistake. Rates are increased frequently and with little notice. They do this with the knowledge of how inconvenient it may be to move out. You will be bombarded with texts, emails and phone calls if you are so much as a day behind on the rent. Should your payment be a week or two late, they will quickly lock your things in the space and threaten to sell them. New customers pay less for space than established clients who have been there for years. read more

I went to Public storage on the hunt for a unit that I needed asap and after several unsuccessful stops at other storage locations I was at my wits. From the moment I stepped into this public Storage location I was immediately greeted by a lovely lady name Maria I explained to her what I was looking for and she immediately got to work and showed me several units on the property all different sizes and price ranges. She was very knowledgeable when it came to sizes and if my stuff would fit. Needless to say after throughly comparing I ended up renting the perfect unit all thanks to the help of Maria. Everything is great so far. I rented a small 5x5 unit to store a few items for a couple months. Very efficient process for renting the unit and if you download the app, you can access the facility from your phone. Very clean place as well. read more

I was forced to move from a 10x30 unite last September due to water incursion from hurricane Irma. Aside from the massive effort to move from one unit - they put me in two units. I was assured my pricing wouldn't change other than an additional $11 for insurance on the second unit. Not true. It took over 6 weeks to get the "generous" one month credit to cover my inconvenience. The overall pricing has never been adjusted to the correct rate and now they are hiding behind a price increase from January. Even at that I am owed back credits and a rate adjustment. No one responds at the site and late fees are stacked on even though you've been calling them seeking resolution. Totally unsatisfactory!!!! read more

The biggest con is the rate increases that seem to occur once a year; however the facility is well maintained and clean. I've never seen any bugs or experienced any foul odors. The staff is courteous and helpful. Been storing there since 2009. read more

Do not rent from this place. The staff is terrible, rude and they lie, cheat and steal every chance they get. I closed my unit and had confirmation 12 days before the next billing cycle. They waited 13 days to call me (conveniently one day after the new billing cycle) and tell me that I had to go in person and then they charged me another month. They said they didn't know I had moved out and then admitted that they used a ladder the week before to see that the unit was empty. They run fake ads and when you get there they give you a whole different story and they change their fees constantly without notification. Horrible experience at this location. read more

This place has absolutely disgusting customer service and business practices. I was just informed that the cost of my storage unit would go up $50.00 without my consent and they refuse to provide me with a copy of my contract so that I can confirm that lovely "small print". Both the persons on sight and at customer service were completely rude and could care less, frankly, based on other reviews, I'm not alone in this. DO NOT ever do business with these people, go elsewhere. read more

Convenient and great unless you ask a reasonable fair and justified question or step out of line and show you have a brain and happen to know good customer service. I simply asked why I was first shown a unit (and accepted in a rush) that had a supporting pillar running from top to bottom on one of the corners of what is an already small unit. Well, I had to fasten my seat belt because the two ladies Lourdes and Anarja (excuse spelling) just blew their tops. Like different personalities were awakened and just between finger pointing and holding fingers in the shape of a gun pointing to her head in a weird strange gesture said I accepted the unit. Of course they had to bring up that I had used their special before (not relevant and not the only one and have referred others) , while leaning forward to me from the counter and pointing to her own head with hand and finger pointed like a gun to her head in a somewhat unstable unsettling and shocking intense way said "no one held a gun to your head" and "no one held my hand to sign for that unit" with imaginary handwriting taking place in an over exaggerated way. Lots of finger pointing as well (all in like less than 2 mins I am still in shock, hence my first YELP review) . ( I would love to see how that came out on the videos ). I , of course, as is policy saw the unit before and was my responsibility on that night just before closing to ask for another. I agreed that I accepted and decided to ask if they had one without the pillar taking away the footage I paid for even after the first month that I can move to now or next month when regular rates apply. Well they lost it even more and said they cannot go thru each unit and I saw that second personality erupting in the eyes again. Being here on a break from my other city of abode I just gladly and quietly exited stating it was my fault and will possibly end the automatic payments. YIKES be careful guys , great facility and amenities always intact, if all is normal. Please do not have a brain and ask questions after signing on very uneasy. Far from professional or service oriented just do not show that you have a brain and can ask for what you paid for. There may be a bonus in it for them for getting this one passed off. That is my only explanation for this aggression in response in my query. I am still trembling just happy to try to bring my SAT back on track and back to Houston for me and maybe US STORAGE just opened up the street . Good luck. read more

I have been storing with Public Storage, in THIS location, since 2003. The facility is wonderfully maintained and the staff is professional, friendly and helpful. I have two complaints: -The rent is increased frequently. -Second, none of the online / move-in specials (or ANY rate specials) are ever granted to current or longtime existing renters. I recently urged a friend to store here, and she did, in the same size unit that I have. She is paying HALF what I pay. I made numerous phone calls and spoke to countless supervisors and was told repeatedly that the ONLY way for me to take advantage of their pricing specials would be to move OUT completely, STAY out for at LEAST a week, and THEN move back in as a 'new' customer. It wasn't even a question of transferring to another unit - or moving out one day and moving back in the next. Their goal was to make it SO inconvenient for me to move out and move back in, schlepping belongings back and forth but having to store elsewhere for an entire week, that it just wouldn't be done. It seems to me that Public Storage has far less regard and appreciation for their existing longtime customers than they do in newbies. I have been there many years and am enrolled in autopay. For them, collecting money doesn't get much easier than that. But that disregard for longtime loyal renters is enough to make me pull all of my belongings out and go elsewhere. Loyalty and consistency are to be rewarded, not punished. read more

It's now June 2014, and my rates for monthly storage are going up another 10%. I decided not to move my belongings elsewhere last year because it was going to be too much of a hassle and would've actually cost me more money. On top of that, the facility has been charging me for insurance without my consent. Phone calls asking for an explanation regarding either matter are pointless. Stopped by to check out a unit and got a quote. Told the gentleman I would be back with my husband to take the unit asked about contract and a few other things. Was never told that the prices would change daily. Came back 2 days later when I had my husband and time to complete the contract. They told my husband that the price had changed. I should have reserved the spot. NO ONE TOLD ME THAT I HAD TO RESERVE THE SPOT!!!!!! The price conveniently went up $50+ Unbelievable!!!!! Rude & I will NEVER use them or recommend them!!!!! read more
