Had a terrible first experience here, Customer service is terrible. After 6 months they raise rates on you which threw off my auto pay. I had 1 month that had a late payment due to that issue. When I called to get it appealed I got told that it was a straight up no. Suck it up and pay, apparently a computer algorithm decides if you're eligible or not which is BS. They did not want me to talk to anyone higher up or redirect me to anyone else who can help. Usually companies forgive a first time around, but the way this is set up is almost predatory in a sense. Also I rushed to get my things out due to the roach problem that seems to be disregarded here. Once I started seeing them inside my own storage that's when I knew I had enough of this disgusting place. 400 dollars a month and a huge pain the ass. They're not here for you, they're here to provide the most minimal service and laugh at you for it. Will never be coming back to any of these again. Check the pictures, times and location no BS read more

DON'T RENT AT THIS LOCATION unless you want to be talked down to as if you are a kid by one of their employees - LISSETTE. she is extremely rude . Failing to practice simple customer service skills like actively listening, practicing empathy and proper conflict resolution. Instead, she cuts you off mid-sentence, reprimands you (for no reason whatsoever) and then talks down to you. I mean, how are these types of people working in customer service jobs? This lack of customer care tells me that they don't care about my investment in selecting THIS company to take care of my things. Oh and the reason I ended having to call is because they placed a lock on my unit for being two weeks late on my payment - totally understand. But it STAYED ON THERE FIVE DAYS AFTER I PAID IT - and that's not right! So an apology is due and the simple customer service (and appreciation) is expected! read more

I've been a loyal customer to this specific location for about 5 years. I am thankful for the great customer service provided by Lisett P., she's very helpful and insightful. read more

Lissette provided greats service, is very thorough, detail oriented and customer centric. Thank you so much!

This place is HORRIBLE, no help from the staff, no one on premises to help you, always on lunch break, every 6 months they increase the rent, one one cart for the whole building, waiting for hours for someone to finish using it. read more

Great secure safe location with comfortable temp and easy to navigate. There was only one dolly to move an entire truck inside and it was a bit convenient. Bring your own dolly and it's perfect read more

Public Storage - Self Storage Near Me - Miami, Florida

Maria and her colleague were extremely nice and helpful at the time when we rented a storage. She explained everything nicely and knew exactly what we wanted. Highly recommend. Also got the storage for an offer of $1.00 + $24 application which was a great rate. read more

Public storage is the WORST, unprofessional, liar and all the bad things I can say about a company, they increase the monthly rent in short periods in more than 20% but why they do that? Because they know that is hard to move all the stuff that clients have already there and they take advantage of that . They have increased my monthly rent two times in less that 6 months period, Also I asked them by phone for a lock and they said that they are going to give you a Free lock and when you get there you have to pay $19.99 for a lock, the Gate is always Brocken I have wasted my time a lot of time going there and couldn't get in because of the f..... gate, also they just have one hand car and never is there when you need it. DON'T NEVER RENT WITH THEM. read more

The management team at the Public Storage in Kendall is so excellent! I was so in a bind and didn't know where to park my car overnight because I had to close on my property and go to NY and they worked with me and saved me so much time and effort because I was able to park my car somewhere safe until I got relocated. When you are in a stressful situation, these are the type of people you want to deal with. Plus the storage unit is super clean and had a lot more space than I expected. I moved a full 3 bedroom house into a 10x20 (with movers) and I technically could have done a 10X15 but I am happy I can walk around my unit and add or retrieve anything whenever I want to. Very safe location of Miami in the suburbs. The best bang for your bucks because my entire life is in that storage and I feel safe. Thanks Public Storage Kendall team on 137th Ave! read more

Anita is awesome! Had a 9:30am appointment and Anita was right on time. The facility was very clean and looked secure. Even tho Anita was the only employee, she was able to help me with all my questions without making me feel rushed. She was great at multitasking to make sure everyone who came threw the doors was helped. Very nice and I am completely satisfied with renting from them!! read more

I rented this smaller unit after having rented the larger one for 2 years. The price they gave me for the smaller one was increased in 6 months with no notice. I called to discuss this with company only to be told that the increase came directly from this location. I informed them that I had no notice so she quickly e-mailed me notice while I was on the phone. To make it worse she was very rude and more or less stated that it's to bad they can increase the amount any time. The location used to be clean and well managed, now the upkeep and obviously the management have all changed. I called to see what it would be to rent a new one the same size as mine, a lower price was given. It appears they get you in and then increase the price. No discounts were given when I moved to the smaller unit. Beware!! read more

Great place to store! Sergio is a great guy, always has a smile on his face. Makes you feel welcomed. I also like the motion activated light that save on energy. Plenty of security cameras so you and your belongings are safe. Conveniently located, as well. Highly recommended! read more

It is 9.57 AM, This location is suppose to be open at 9:30 no one in sight. The bathroom has been out of order for over a week. The manager keeps making excuses why it is not fix. Service at the facility is extremely poor. They advertise 1st month $1 on website, they charge me full rate. I feel like I am not dealing with a reputable business. read more

I'm giving this location a 5 star rating because when I went to rent the unit the process was quick and easy. I have not spoken to any employees since then so I cannot say anything about the customer service. I have an outdoor unit. read more
