When you inquire in the office about getting them fixed, they tiredly point to the phone number on the door and tell you to call corporate. The price increases every year and it isn't a small increase. Paying several hundred dollars every month, you would think that they would have working building services. Additionally, The office staff could not be less helpful. Most days you can see the manager in the office with his feet on desk, clearly visible from the front window. Once the office is closed, the bathrooms are locked, so if you're in there in the evening, you'll be out of luck. They tell you to go next door to Walgreens!!! We moved one mile down the road, got the same size unit for half price (not a promotional price) and every time we go, the manager is walking around the property, either walking the property with his housekeeping cart or talking with customers. Their business rules are such that the customer comes…read morelast!! 2 examples: (1) I was rented a leaky storage unit that StorQuest thought it had repaired. When it subsequently rained, I unit flooded with water. StorQuest's policy: Too bad; you're on your own! We hired a mover (at our time; our expense) to move to a non-leaking interior storage unit (2) When renting a storage unit, I was asked to provide proof-of-insurance to avoid needing "their renter's insurance". I provided the proof. It turns out that when my standard 12 month homeowners policy expired, StorQuest automatically began adding their $16 per month renter's insurance. StorQuest certainly had both my email address & my phone number. No one ever contacted me (to bring in my current insurance policy)!! I only found-out by luck that this unnecessary $16 monthly fee had been charged to my account for 18 months! When I immediately produced my valid insurance, I was smugly told "I will credit your account beginning today, but there won't be any refund for the past 18 months". Storage units are necessary under certain circumstances. There's plenty of choices in the 33176, 33156, & 33134 suburban neighborhoods of Miami. Throughout our entire stay, we were never once late on rent and operated in good faith the entire time. We vacated our warehouse unit at the end of August, and as of early December, we still have not received our security deposit refund. This is after months of follow-ups, repeated promises from management, and multiple assurances that payment was already "on the way." Every update pushed the timeline out further with no clarity, no proof of processing, and ultimately no refund sent at all. Operationally, there were also challenges during our time here. Management leased one of the spaces to a last-mile delivery operation, which meant the parking lot and loading area were constantly filled with personal vehicles picking up packages. This made it extremely difficult to find dock space or unload trucks, something any warehouse-based business needs to rely on consistently. For context, I've leased space with ReadySpaces and Saltbox, and both returned deposits quickly and professionally. I have never dealt with deposit issues or operational congestion like this with any other warehouse provider. If you are a small business, startup, e-commerce seller, or logistics operation that values professionalism, transparency, and basic operational reliability, I would strongly caution you before choosing HiveHub. The combination of delayed communication, operational obstacles, and a still-unreturned security deposit has made this a very disappointing experience. I hope management improves their processes, but based on what I've experienced firsthand, I cannot recommend them to other businesses.
