So I said ok what makes it better? She said it's double walled, so I showed her the description of the competitor and sure enough it was the same exact box. She then said ok well we're not going to match that. Search TM Packaging (or any other packaging company) if you're in Miami if you want better prices. This store has a 100%+ markup on competitors. However, I had a very bad experience with the Kendall Truck Rentals Groupon that I purchased. I hired them for moving and packing services via Groupon, to move my mom who was located in the Miami area. When I called to schedule, the owner was very angry that I had not purchased a deal through his business website instead of purchasing through Groupon. He also angrily mentioned this several times to my mom when communicating with him. When he arrived, the movers left the room anytime I asked them to pack something, avoiding packing all together. I specifically requested moving and packing. If they did not pack items, I should have been made aware of this in the beginning. They did not have any tools to disassemble furniture and continuously asked to borrow tools. We were moving and everything was in boxes, so why would we have tools available? We had to dig to find tools, just to get part of the job done! They were generally polite, but the service in every other way was unprofessional. They took many breaks and the job was left unfinished due to the frequent breaks and the refusal to assist with packing. I was not even offered the option to purchase additional hours to complete the move. The items they placed in the storage unit we moved the furniture into were very poorly placed and heavy items were stacked on top of things that could not bear their weight. The next morning my sister and I had to pack the rest of the house ourselves and hire a Uhaul and two guys from in front of Home Depot to finish the job. They rearranged the mess the Kendall movers made in the storage unit and got the job done more efficiently, in half the time and cost far less. I have hired movers tons of times when I lived in Los Angeles and not once did I have a terrible, unprofessional experience such as this, even with using a discount voucher.

Hector reached out to me before the move-in date to have me read the terms and conditions on the website, even though I had already paid for services in advance. I appreciated him asking me to read though everything so I was better prepared for moving day. He graciously waived the "stairs" fee when I mentioned that he didn't ask me if I had stairs and/or elevators at my new and old home. I thought that was really nice and accommodating of him, as I felt he should have asked me via phone before I purchased so I'd know any other costs I'd face.Thank you, Hector. Moving day came and went easily with Hector's crew. They were a bit late due to traffic, but it gave me more time to prep beforehand so I was okay with it. I think most people in Miami understand "Miami time." I had Nate, Carlos and Randy - and they were completely wonderful. They were kind, helpful and professional. They wrapped all my furniture neatly in the truck, and nothing I have seen so far was damaged or broken. I haven't fully unpacked yet, but I'm pretty sure all my stuff is okay.
